Try joining Synergy http://synergygw2.enjin.com/ they have about 7+ raid groups going with set times and they are recruiting new members for raids. In addition, anyone who wants to lead a new Raid group is more than welcome to.

You need lots of DPS for sure, that’s no secret. The enrage timers are really strict. Maximize DPS and buffs always.

Yeah I kind of figured. I play a Zealot Druid but some people want me to go Cleric but after seeing those timer’s I think it’d be better if I stayed Zealot. I was just looking for some affirmation haha. Thanks for the info guys.

What was the group comp and builds you guys used out of curiosity? And gear. Did you have like 9 zerker dps and a Druid or something? Thanks for any info! And congratulations.

Oh I just saw Nee’s comment. Can you atleast say how many DPS you had and if anyone was support?

Zealot will be better than Cleric’s because of the enrage timer. (Power/prec/healing power).

The boss follows who ever has the highest toughness, so full Cleric may not be ideal. I’m running Druid with Ascended Zealot armor/weapons and Cleric accessories and I don’t have problems finding a group and my survivability/healing power is still pretty strong with more DPS. But that’s just my opinion!

You don’t actually need everyone to contribute damage to beat the raid encounters and swapping off staff to do DPS may limit your ability to heal reactively if you ever get stuck on your DPS set while needing to heal. Druids primary role is to heal, damage and your own survivability come second. There was no raid encounter so far where the Druid absolutely had to contribute damage and leave staff.

I feel this way too. I was recently invited to a Guild that was looking for Raiders, but was told I would be more optimal as a Zerker Druid. So far, I found myself pretty happy with my Cleric Ascended set (side note, I didn’t join that Guild). I’ll change it if it becomes more optimal for a different stat but I think as of right now, no one truly knows what meta will be.

All I know is if I’m in any other weapon besides Staff, my Astral Force regen is almost non-existent. In addition, I love being able to take advantage of Grace of the Land, Glyph of Empowerment and Frost Spirit. I apply Grace of the Land on CD, which I can only do at the mercy of AF, which is always up when I’m using a Staff but it is a struggle with any other weapon.

I am looking for an established PVE Guild that consists of

• a medium to large community
• high level fractals (L50+)
• pve raiding (prefer PST time zones but any is fine if it fits my schedule)
• world events (this is optional)
• active in TS3 or any VOIP
• guild mission schedules and makeup schedules (prefer on Sundays/Mondays or Tuesdays)

What I can provide :

• 10+ years of raiding experience as a healer
• full ascended cleric Druid
• active member w/ a mic
• cupcakes. delicious, delicious cupcakes.

Sidenote: I should have a full ascended Mesmer alt by the end of November as well, since I realize it’s good to have a fall-back for raiding.

If my memory serves me correct, I thought I remember reading you can do the raid as many times as you like, but the only thing that will be locked out is loot.

I don’t know why this hasn’t been in the game from the beginning. Most modern MMOs give you an option to toggle HP bars on/off. If you don’t want it, don’t use it. If you want it, it’s there for you.

What exactly is the issue? “Play how you want to play”

I just started the game about 1 month ago. I got to level 80 and I farmed and I farmed and I farmed and now I can afford to get 6/6 Ascended Gear + 1 Weapon. Go me. But….

My hang up are the Laurels….they put a time restriction on the account. I have to wait until I can afford the recipes, which in turn slows down my Ascended accessory progression.

Nerf Laurels please.

I never cared about getting a Legendary before, but this Staff is PERFECT and EPIC for a Druid! Want.

Do you guys know if Synergy has any plans of making a Raid group on either Sun/Tues/Wed in the future? I see that there’s a group for Tues/Thurs and a secondary group for Saturdays.

I might also want to add that I’m currently on Fort Aspenwood but I’m willing to transfer for the right group of people.

Level 80 Ranger, I’m currently working on my healing Ascended set for Druid for the expansion. I have 10+ years of maining a “healer” or “support role” in top Raiding Guilds.

I’m 26 years old, sarcastic and I cuss far too much for a lady. Looking for a Guild that doesn’t have too many rules on language.

Looking for a Guild that’s active with Guild Missions/Raiding/WvW on Sunday, Monday and/or Tuesdays (since those are my days off). In addition, a Guild that’s active during night time (EST).

Also, MUST be active in voice chat.

Inspire allies makes me believe the Tiger is the support pet. —shrug--
