Hello everyone.
- I am currently looking for a guild. -
Requirements:
– Doesn’t need to represent/be online 24/7. RL keeps me busy at it is.
– Something fun, like a hangout, doesn’t need to have that much people, altho people that like doing things together.
– I don’t like much PvP nor WvW, altho i’d definetely give it a go if i got a good group/guild.
– I like dungeoning the most, since sometimes my RL doesn’t give me much time for anything else.
- People that are fond of speed runs and know how to, such as CoF, CoE, AC and such. Also I’d like to get more active on doing FOTM.
My home server is Seaferer’s Rest(EU), i don’t mind guilds on other servers at all. I’ll go as far as guesting, not transfering entirely.
- About me-
I’m 21 years old, been gaming since i was 15/16. Started on Ragnarok Online, wich that have led me to a plethora of other games, such as WoW, Fiesta online, TERA online, FFXIV, Perfect world, Forsaken World, Ragnarok 2, and many more. (MMORPG and other genres)
Have been in Gw2 since it started. like chatting with people about all type of stuff, getting to know eachother and such.
- A bit about my playstyle –
I have 3 fully geared 80 Characters, Guardian(the one i played the most) Elementalist(first character, altho disliked the squishyness after awhile, therefore going guardian) and my last one is a mesmer. Getting the hang of it!
I don’t care much about Guild forums nor TS server and such. I mainly use skype and even that only talk to people i know most. And when i can, i’am online so i won’t use it that much.

I am looking for a guild that is active on dungeons mainly, since it’s what i enjoy the most.
Something i don’t have to represent 24/7, and that i won’t have to be online 24/7 either, due to my 10-13hour job. Something simple, like a hangout, fun, etc.

All of this “Combo killer” in daily has killed the daily itself. I feel like it went from regular daily where you could log in and do it easily and it was fun, to a no fun, obligation daily. I feel obligated and forced to do the daily, since i don’t have much time to play and want to take all i can as possible from the game itself.

It’s just sad to see that Anet is somehow forcing us to do daily. At least remove the combo killer, wich i spent 2hours trying to do it, and still failed for some reason apparently. NOT to mention the 4 disconnection that resulted in 4 few minutes rollback’s.

Princess wand? I don’t own a female character nor do i intend to do one. As i’ve mentioned before the most original skin that stands is the slingshot imo. Yeah if i had a girl character i’d prolly get the sceptre or something like that, but it just isn’t my style.

Well it’s people’s own opinion so. We can’t really argue with it. But yes, IMO the Great Saw isn’t just my style, nor i find it even decent. But yes, i guess BOTH christmas skins could have been made with a lil more “heart” to it.

The skins aren’t bad IMO, yeah they have a xmas feel – thats the whole point, if you were expecting something in the league of the Great Saw then it was never going to come – this is Christmas after all!

They all come with cool frosty particle effects too – shame about the excrement coloureed wood though :/

I even think of the Great Saw has quite ugly to be honest. But i wish that the skins would have more design. It just looks like huge blocks of wood with some effects. The only one original enough to buy(wich i did) was the slingshot.

Just moments ago, i’ve tried searching the Wintersday’s pages, but couldn’t find this specific topic, therefore making this one.
Well to be honest, i was oddly shocked to NOT see anyone worried about this, but at least curious i am.

The question is pretty simple: Why wasn’t created a Greatsword/Shield/Pistol Skin?(Ingame content, not gemstore). I just can’t find a logic reason to do the rest of the weapons and not those.

Please someone enlight me.

How about the Torch? Or Axe? They’re not there either. Nor is the Longbow. In fact, the following items don’t have a skin:
Axe, Mace, Pistol. Shield, Torch, Warhorn, Hammer, Longbow, Spear, Harpoon Gun, Trident.

The hammer has a skin. The Candy Cane one. I did not count with trident’s or Harpoon Gun, because most are used underwater, wich rarely get’s any use. But i guess you’re right also. Many don’t have skins, wich is sad..

Because these are the most popular ones so they are trying to push you to the Gemstore, C’mon guys, i thought this was common knowledge.

Gw2 revolves around spending in game cash for things such as this, luckily, i can live without and enjoy the game for what it is

I would push myself towards the gemstore IF the skins itself were at least decent…
