Just to contribute little bit here.
I was roaming in WvW today, and during a small group fight, i saw myself get instantly downed, and was wondering what happened since I am a warrior and keep around 2700 toughness.
I went through the combat log, and vault did 11,800 damage haha, I was like, holy cow.

unfortunately didn’t take any screenie, since I don’t post stuffs on forum, but saw this thread open and figured I would share what happened today

I guess in wvw you can stack food and stuff but kitten it hits hard haha

Whoever is in charge of these guilds, get your kittens together.
If you don’t like me on cannon that much, just go around it, instead of hacking into SM and get reported.

They don’t care, can’t see why they should.
During our last match-up I saw random people from 10 different guilds on this wall, not really a reason to judge the whole server or guilds because of that. The problem is already known and probably will take anet another two months to fix. As for now, enjoy the free thieves-hunting simulator.

I do WvW all the time, been doing it for months, and spend considerable amounts of time in there. Haven’t had this many glitch abuse with any other servers. Just like you said, if at least 10 different guild from yak’s are just in and out sm whenever the hell they want, that IS a reason to judge the whole server. Even if anet aint fixing these bugs fast enough, that doesn’t mean they should freely abuse it. And as a server, they decides to not even gonna care? I remember when mesmer from sos glitch into Mendons. Our guys all yelled not to take port, and we all reported the person who did, and kicked the guy from the guild he was in. Seems to me Yak’s don’t have moral standards like us eh? 10 different guilds walks in and out and nobody even tries to stop them. Ridiculous.

I have spent a sleepless night to see what SoS is like when they are Zergballing and what I saw was hardly impressive. If you guys were not awake when everyone else is asleep, you would be on Par with Henge of Denravi. Maybe Henge is a underestimate. Perhaps Darkhaven? I can say this with all seriousness. Coming up the ranks, we’ve had the privlidge of fighting numerous servers. SoS is a tier 6, maybe bottom ranking tier 5 server ,skill wise and number wise. The only thing is their numbers hit when North America is asleep.

And so, thanks to Glicko, you will be able to suck points off better servers (like Ehmry Bay) because you can night cap all their keeps and hold them for a couple hours until they wake up and monkey stomp you. But the Glicko still awards you those ranking points. Until you run into Dragonbrand anyway, and get curb stomped back down into Tier 3 or 4 to repeat the process. Beware though, thanks to Glicko, odds are good you are going to hit Darkhaven and SBI at the same time.

After that the glicko works in reverse. Note how BP has gained nearly 40 points off of you. All your points have been vampired from Ehmry this match. Against Darkhaven and SBI, all they have to do is maintain a pulse and you will lose points. However I know both are reasonably competent, so they will fight so long as they don’t get demoralized. As such, you are going to lose a ton of ranking points will be straight down to tier 5, to spend the next 4 weeks crawling back up. Call me the prophet.

Still waiting for that “monkey stomp” to happen in this match up.

Come on. This has to be the stupidest matchup ever.
2 weeks ago, before anet introduced this “new and improved” formula, our server (SOS) was 10th on the rank, in tier 4. After 1 weeks of getting run over by TC mega size zerg, not only they put us with the same server, but now with SOR that has the highest rating of all server? We lost 70 percent of our players coming to wvw last match up because of all the bullying we got from T2 servers, and they were ALL hoping to get better match up, such as Maguuma, Kaining, or Yaks. Not only they tied us with TC again, but with SOR. Gets your kittens to gether. There is NO WAY, we will not get farmed against these two servers. Such dumb system. Enjoy your WvW chest SOR.

Sorry but i just come in to ask help from SoS, i don’t know if any of you guys know somebody named “Colder Than You”? he is a commander just transfer from SoS few weeks ago. Now he keep trolling our chats and bring new wvw players to their deaths running to SoS zerg. also giving out our location to SoS players. i’m not trolling but, he’s making SoS name bad right now.

Same person. He got his commander tag at 700 achievement. I can tell you this. He left SOS on his own mostly because 90 percent of us have him blocked and he can’t troll anymore. So don’t bring up stupid stuff like so and so is spy from sos etc… Even when he was in SOS, he did exactly the same thing.
Despite countless report from us, he is still not banned from GW2, and those who ever heard him talk, you know he should be banned.

Hey there.
I’ve been unable to connect to the game, or get kicked out 30 seconds after I log in.
I was looking around GW2 facebook page, and read an interesting comment.

looks like many players from atlantic canada (if not all) are affected.
I’ve been unable to log in for many hours now.
Could somebody please look into it?
Also, I think it would be a good idea to write below where you are trying to connect from, if you are experiencing the issue, to prove this point.
