Trouble with 100% Map completion All PVE Maps say I have everything.
Today I finished my last Map but im at 94 the only thing thats maxed is the hearts.
I have heard mixed reports on whether WvW maps are part of the 100 so could someone post definitivley if it is or not.
Do they force folks to PVP for this achievement?
Dont get me wrong I LOVE WVW but to force a pay style isnt right to me.
What I would like to know is will this app be in the respective APP stores? I know that no official APPs can be installed on Windows Phone 7 or 8 unless M$ evaluates it first and puts it in the store. There is no way for Anet to have the app here as a download link unless it somehow is instructing ZUNE software to install it with M$ blessing…
Look, getting Map Completion and Legendaries are strictly for vanity purposes. They’re supposed to be hard. They exist to give you long term objectives and make you feel like a kitten. If you think they’re too hard, then don’t do it. You won’t lose anything but imaginary internet points.
Also remember that the WvW servers reset each week, so if thinks are looking dire for your side, just try again a few days later. Follow the zerg around and get the points on its path, and then stealth whatever it’s left. It’s really not that hard.
No… you look. How is it possibly earning an achievement if I’m just going to be logging in and out waiting for other people to take the objective that I need for my achievement? Or waiting several days/weeks for things to be re-re-set and just walking in??? No one said anything about it being “too hard.” The problem is forcing people to PvP, who detest PvPing, in order to do it. And in the process hindering your server’s team in the WvW. Instead of focusing on how you’re going to shoot each person’s post down, why don’t you actually pay attention to what’s being said.
The majority of you nay-sayers are so busy arguing and mouthing off, you’re not even addressing the valid points people have made about how this is a detriment to both PvE and PvP players. And anyone who “server-hopped” to get this… That’s an exploit. And you did not truly earn it.
I don’t care if A-Net changes it so we will have to group up to take down incredibly hard level 80+ bosses in order to reach PoI’s/Vistas to complete this achievement… Just remove this BS WvW requirement. Having to explore the dungeons makes far more sense than forcing non-PvP players to have to do it.
Well all I have to say is this game is based off of PVP. It is one of the pillars of the game. This is why theres no trinity or typical endgame raids and such 8 20 or 40 man grouped raids and such.
I played PVP in SWTOR The last MMO I played before that is EQ1&2. I think the pvp part of this game at least WvWvW is pretty kewl and well done. All you need todo is make some friends and go togather and get the POIs and such.
We got lucky last week our server was dominating in WvW so we ran in and did 2 of the 4 zones.
One question though I thought the completion for WvWvW was separate from the normal map completion… I have looked at the global completion poi number before getting one in WvWvW and it stayed the same after getting a WvWvW POI.
Was that a bug? If they are separate isn’t this argument MOOT?
I hate the trinity cause it pigeon holes people into specific roles. groups always have x y and z classes. I do think that the water elementlist should get better AE heals. When i goto a dungeon I always use water spec to give the group the most healing and my elite pet skill also heals.
I left the strict RAIDs behind in SWTOR pls dont bring them back in GW2. I like being able to get the upperhand in the dungeons. It would be one thing if the encounter didnt auto level you down. It does auto balance your stats so I need all the advantages I can get. I am NOT a min maxer I don’t know every nuance of every trait and skill and the perfect order to use them. I just wanna pick the game up and play it with out thinking my way through everything. I play games to have fun and be silly. I don’t wanna have to be serious about it.

Skill Point bug Diessa Plateau Moorwatch Tower
Can’t see any NPCs and no tunnels to get to this SkillPoint. People in the map say theres supposed to be a NPC here but its not here 2 days now… No Over flow to try it there…
The OP seem to be a PVPer at his core. He doesnt like the idea of crafting out each piece for each build. I am an explorer first then PVEr then a PVPr. Hell I only know of the gear off of the karma venders. Some of my gear is yellow text is that the gold you speak of? What color is exotic?
I want best in slot gear to be GRAFTED only whether it be for looks or stats. I don’t want a token system like other games have. Ide like to be able to just graft and gather components if thats all i wanna do to make money…

Yes My Ranger is in the same boat. Saw nothing in the state of the game updates about a fix…
I have experianced the same thing. I am fighting in a large battle or pve encounter and then game sound goes out then a constant single tone starts and only way to stop it is to relog.
I am using Logitec G35 Head set and/or Nvidia GTX470 HDMI to SONY Reciever.
I would include my DXDIAG but it excedes the character limits…
