The highest ive seen for warrior HP so far has been 28k HP with pretty decent Attack and Defense, about 3k for both attack and def. Anybody know what the highest possible HP you can get with warrior w/o using consumables?
I know WvW gives an HP boost but that in itself fluctuates, it depends on how good your home server is.
I’ve been stuck on lvl 4 fractals for 2days now. Spent like a good hour trying to find a group to just run fractals then i just logged off and gaved up for the night. I havent been able to play regularly due to work so my guild has left me behind in terms of fractals lvl. Majority of them are more into doing the levels that they currently or their legendary quest and it seems like a hassle to ask them to play on a lower lvl. Finding a good PUG where people dont leave is often a hit or miss.
I love the company and the game since gw1 but nowadays im just not having any fun in their game. all the “wow-amazing” moments ive exp in the game has been replaced with “WTF-Anet-why?!”
I remember reading somewhere that destroyer weapons have changed in terms of its recipe. Its change from 30 destroyer lodestone to 20 lodestone. I just want to know if this is correct because im very near the completion of gathering my mats for my destroyer greatsword. I checked the wiki but the “acquisition” info has been editted out. I appreciate anybody posting the recipe in this thread.
Rune of the Undead is one of the best runes i found for Condition Damage. I think you do enough burning damage from the torch and just for go Spike Trap. I’d go for Frost Trap incase you need to escape or when you need to flank for SB. Last utility i’d use is QZ, Its good for finishing people off/stacking bleeds.
I’m going for Carrion Accessories and Weapons and then Rabid Sets for Armor. Imo you need some balance between stats while keeping Condition Damage as high as you can.
This gets me around 18k HP. enough to survive wvw along with that toughness you stacked. Btw do you know which runes you are going to use?
I use preparation skills alot in GW1. At some instances it has become the cornerstones of my build. To be able to stack conditions and augment damage and skills was such a godsend. I hope they bring these skill type back to GW2 as some form of utility or even elite skill
I dont know why they didnt do spirits for rangers like spirit weapons for guardians. I havent touched spirits skills yet cuz of the lack of it in terms of skill usage and traits. If it messes with your design ANet, make them as if they are fairies. that still sticks to nature-loving schema of the ranger
It depends on your build, since im stacking condition dmg as much as i possibly can i dont use much power to boost my dmg. From what i read power doesnt boost cond dmg. I stack precision because of [Sharpened Edges] It helps with stacking bleed on an enemy and Sigil activation on my weapons.
Best Tanking Pet is a Bear. I dont know much about ranged pet because i dont have found one yet
Melee Ranger is very effective. Tanks and deals dmg in a very nice pace. Bring a Bear Pet for some extra tanking. I was able to handle 5 ettins at the same time with a greatsword build. My Ranger friend who does all bow literally ran from a mob because he couldnt handle it but as a Melee Ranger the mob was an easy kill.
Build-wise, im using Quickening Zephyr to provide some heavy dps. For traits i say invest in Wilderness Survival and Skirmishing. If you want you can add 5 on BeastMastery, that 2sec Quickness can make a world of difference when clearing out mobs.
I’ve been playing Ranger since GW1 and frankly the new pet system, in terms of combat, wasnt much of an improvement.
