one of the things I hope we see fixed, I just don’t see the reasoning behind this, it really forces you to a playstyle in order to be fully effective in pve.
It works with the flamethrower attack too
.
you know this is not going anyware… the game is the same (yes they have added lots of stuff) still, if you ran out of “things to do” before, then i’m sure you will not have anything to long for now. I’ve never ran out of things to do and I find it hard to believe that anyone has done everything the game has to offer.
Get Hype.
Don’t get hyped, or you’ll be disappointed… Nothing ever lives up to the hype. If you approach it critically or maybe even pessimistically, you might get pleasantly surprised =)
I was so hyped about this game… I preordered back in april. I have been pleasantly suprised scince BWE1. I think is safe for some of us to hype
… I do share your logic most of the times tho.
I’m not usally this guy but… your doing it wrong men. If you ever played any other mmo seriusly you would have noticed that in order to max out your dps/dealing/tanking you would need to use the same rotation over and over, one misstake could cost you dps on a raid, I had the same concern before I played this game, last mmo I played was WoW and my main was a Druid I had my screen with arround 6 10×10 bars, if I ever stopped to use all those skills i would have gotten kicked so many times from raids and my arena rating would have been kitten.
Having all those skills is just an illusion of complexity on gw2 you should realize that what is really important is when u use the skills depending on the situation rather than getting 1 rotation macroed to rule pve and in some cases (paladin) pvp also.

hmmm… because another evil dragon took Zaitan during the first minutes of launch?
This is something we want to fix as soon as possible. Thanks for bringing it some attention. If it was simple we would have done it already, but we are working on it.

I love how open ANET is to Us, I cannot begin to imagine the million problems they find while coding this game, but after seeing all the things they’ve done so far, many that in my head were impossible before this game came out
, I’m 100% sure there is nothing they can’t do, ANET you’ve earned a fanboy (who knows how many acctually)
So you basically want to be able to outgear and hardcounter certain classes in order to feel “pro”? Please go away.
He asked for a game mode not a game design change, besides the gear grind was just a carrot on a stick in wow, unless you were very very bad you would get there eventually, I agree it is not fun and I love the way GW2 changed that but there is no reason to send him away its just an idea.
I would love to see this happening, this might be the only thing I miss from wow. +1 to this idea.
