Don’t have a ranger myself so I can’t check, but I do remember they have a trait that increases longbow range.
Are you using this trait? Perhaps the range indicator doesn’t take it into account.
Afraid I’m currently only a level 7 so I haven’t used a single trait :P
Hello, I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the issue that the red bar that determines if you are in range to cast an ability on your target is red even though the ranger longbow can hit the enemy for a distance quite a bit further back from the point the out of range indicator shows up.
I don’t accept that. Swords are in history and lore yet they are used. Also most other games manage the clipping issue so I don’t accept arena net cant do it
Please, capes are awesome sauce
. NOT COSMETIC pleaaaase… Combat capes would be insanely bad kitten Massive capes that stretch across the shoulders like some curtain pole would look immense on a norn. Or even a travellers cloak for the smaller ones. I beg you, capes are beautifull. X
Hullo, At the moment all I have is Woodenpotatoes and Matt Visual – Any other Guild wars 2 youtube channels I can take a look at? Popular and unpopular are welcome ! Also usefull unofficial guild wars 2 websites is helpfull as well. Thank you
Is it just thief we have problems with?
I made a necromancer yesterday, got used to playing with the scepter/focus and got to about level 7. Tried out some structured pvp with the default items and default build and is the most fun I have ever had. I don’t consider myself amazingly good but within the first 10 minutes a couple of matches, I got into 2 players versus me situations and won them easily! How does this happen, it’s soooo FUN.
But of course to every class indeed. New hairstyles good but not what I’m thinking of, more spell visuals
As we all know Guild Wars 2 is a very visually appealing game with beautifull graphics and effects and so on.. Arena net understand the demand for this clearly with funny little town clothes and gear skins you can buy from the gem shop.
What I think would be great would be to implement something like the World of Warcraft minor glyph things where you can purchase things to alter visuals in a way that you think would suit your character more or just for the fun.
I, for one, would LOVE to see a minor glyph sort of thing where my Necromancers staff has a permanent black scythe visual like it does when you cast the spells. Also making elementalist fire recoloured to a colour of choice too? What do you think, just fun visuals for entertainment that keep you playing.

Can’t log in,
arenanet, why did you move my post to suggestions from general, the thread is titled “Where are the capes?” not “Suggestion: capes” It is a question, I am asking where the capes are. Also, to see my post and move it and not reply to it when it is a valid question is also ridiculous.
In WoW I used to look forward to getting a cape when making a low level character cause it just made my character have a much better feel to it.
That norn warrior bit was exactly the sort of thing I was thinking of. So massive a cape it looks like you have a curtain pole across the back of your neck, it just seems like a cool concept.
Capes have always been (IMO) the best part of player armour along side shoulder armour. Where is the long swishy capes that give me character a bad kitten feel? Please oh please, I love capes so much ;’(.

You cannot possibly have a reasonable time to evaluate the game development of a game that doesn’t stop development. MMOs endlessly develop just like your life and you can’t judge your whole life 20 years into it since anything can happen after that, same as MMOs.
