Dont even care about other players lol. wonderland and mad kings are impossible to most people I know.
If you die during a toxx fight with 2-3 people it can take awhile and you get booted for inactivity while being dead while unable to prevent it in any way.
Honestly the rewards as a whole are disappointing compared to last year. I mean.. really the skritt santa and endless toymaker tonic are it. the runes, sigils, skins and holiday ugly sock reward vendors. Seem all but useless. I am a HUGE fan of gw holidays they are like real holidays to me
but was disappointed on rewards. Now the activities are super fun. love bell choir and snowball mayhem. Have yet to get into a working toypocolypse however.
Edit: I do despise that on this wintersday the day we get together.. you cannot join anything as a party. haha me and rl friend were bummed.

I see. I tend to stick with wvw in groups between 2-9. I always switch to staff for big zerg as I feel anything else is simply a waste. I also tend to do fractals alot but fractals with ele feels like thief. I just auto die so I tend to run them on guardian necro or mes.
The earth toughness feels odd for me due to its short duration I suppose I will get better at that in time. and the water trident healing is awful so I typically opt for more dmg or auto attack nothing for the healing.
So I do not see them really in game and after having searched the gw2 ele forums literally the word scepter is typed once in the entire forums (a few s/f) and it is referred to as having low damage. Also dulfy’s analysis of the scepter ele skills left them seemed pathetic as all attacks were listed as subpar damage to staff or dagger and requiring too much cc to be used where you have only the knockback of the offhand. (and apparently he just hated water scepter damage and utility).
So my question is simply is this a thing? I have heard only negative feedback on scepter when compared to staff and d/d. The only reason I ask is I have meterologicus for my necro and recently transition. Is it better to simply make and use an ascended staff if the skill set is horrible? and judging by lack of red post on here I am guessing ele is balanced where anet wishes it to be so cannot expect scepter boost. Asking for any skilled elementalist input on weapon sets.

Ive seen a huge improvement in the matchup making really. Class diversity is generally way better.
Honestly its just the lack of the season right now, also the new system has to start somewhere, this is a system where its impossible for it to work perfectly from the go.I dont understand why people are complaining like its the games fault for making them lose games, is the matchmaking supposed to make you win? because thats what I feel like everyone is crying about. Everything is always the teams fault right, and everyone is always better then the people they are losing with obviously.
The matchmaking cant do miracles.
This I see alot of. I love gw2 to no end but 98% of my blocks are pvp community being downright laughable. Everyone is better then their team. always. The other team is bad. Always. But true it does seem to start off so fresh its making some wierd matchups. I think mixing solo and team was a horrible idea personally.
The match making formula does seem obscure but I would not call it a total bust. I sort of wish they would stop tampering but it was a love hate with first patch. this one is the same. Now all matches seem heavily one sided either we dominate or they do. I have not had a somewhat even match in a few weeks, they seem to enjoy sticking a highly superior team against something bad. I do understand why they do it as it is now very populated and that is good from anet prospective. the hardcores may die but the community enjoys as a whole which is what is really important since new hardcores take over.
So my team got wrecked and bassicly spawn camped two games a row by a guild team (we were solo) and 3 of us got 0 points first time and 4 the second time. so we get no reward at all for being destroyed? Well.. that makes pvp seem much more daunting when you lose so hard you are actually punished.
So there is no set computer that will run this well? I can pick my pieces as best I can with the info offered by locx
I am near computer illeterate sadly. I would say leave some headroom. Storage mostly enough for gw2 and skype,ts etc. smaller programs. Aesthetics are nice.
Gw2 is the only game. and thank you a ton.
So I could I bring a electronics store the details you listed and have a workable system?
I play alot of guild wars 2 wvw and am looking for a computer to run it at a a GOOD rate. I have around 1,500 dollars to spend on a premade system. I am not comfortable building my own at all and wished to seek the advice of the community which might be more knowledgable. I get 20% off dell products lol.
Any advice would be welcomed on any products.
