I noticed this too, you keep the potion buff on even when you leave the fractals, but you have to double click them again inside the lobby to get the converted stats.

So, it’s prolly been brought up atleast once before, and i’m not sure it’s the right place to post this, but what is the deal with locking some of these guys behind the metas? All 5 in Verdant Brink ar available at all times.

The one in the skritt camp in Auric Basin is the same, but then comes north and south, they are only available after you do the first 2 events, fine, but they get locked when challenges start. This results in them being unavailable for about 1 hour of the 2 hour meta cycle, and that sucks when you just want your already annoying tokens.

Rata Novus and SCAR lane in Tangled Depths are also locked behind the first 2 events, but they stay available even during the meta, and only reset after you either succeed or fail.

So, to sum it up, please, atleast do something about the North and South camps in Auric Basin.

Odd, i got both after 2 kills, and the second kill even gave me a regular liver.

Hi Roy,

Three questions:
1) If a Ranger pet attacks another ranger pet. With them being both minions, do they get the 95% damage reduction? Or are they counted as part of the player and get the full damage?
2) Will runes such as, Rune of the Ogre that summons a rock dog be consider a minion?
3) Elemental glphys weren’t mentioned as minions in your responses. Are glyph summons consider minions?

1) Nothing different happens, this is for creatures attacks against player minions as mentioned in the original post.
2) Yes.
3) Yes.

Literally anything you summon/control as a player is a player minion. Turrets, spirit weapons, ranger spirits, ranger pets, gyros, phantasms/clones, necro minions, etc.

So does this now mean I have a 5% chance of killing a players Mini pet? :P I would like to kill that ho ho tron!

Mini pets can’t be attacked.

I beg to differ! The fire shaman world boss in Iron Marches can kill your mini’s with burning. Oh and engineer Slick Shoes can knock them down.

I think it would be a nice addition to make the 3rd hit a blast finisher, the animation fits and it would make it more viable in PvE, not much but a little.

Ok, i don’t know if it has been adressed yet, but this needs some tweaking.
When i played in BWE2 my staff skill 3 on Daredevil, which applies a 6 second cripple, did more damage to the Bar than my hard CC’s, that’s messed up.

On another note, there’s going to be a big problem with certain Specializations when fighting enemies with Bars, if i can’t apply cripple then my Dragonhunter traits will loss there functions, same goes for the Reaper and its chill.

I see how soft CC can’t have their full durations, since it would make some champions have permanent soft CC’s on them, but then cut the duration in half or something, a cripple should do better than a stun, that’s just wrong.

Actually I just noticed. Revanant and Ritualist from GW1 have the same icon. Revanant is just missing the lower part.

Not the same kind of eye, and i think you meant that it’s the Ritualist who is missing the bottom part.

Another issue would be that you have to unlock legend swap, so you would fell forced to upgrade Jalis to get utilities, instead of gettin the heal on another legend and a utility

As the title says i can’t help but wonder which heal skill Revenant will start with, and on the same note which legends they start with. A solution would be to make it one of the choices in the creation process, but that raises another problem, the fact that the starter heal skill isn’t displayed in the training tab.

In general it just annoys me that your starter heal skill doesn’t appear in the training tab, in cases where the skill belongs to a skill type, e.g. “We heal as one!” is a shout but doesn’t appear in the tab, but this is a minor concern.

Other concerns are the cost balancing on the revenant, since it will have less slot skills in general(20 different skills in core profession), And the lack of a fifth skill type training tab.

Whenever i see someone wearing the new outfit, their name is by their feet and not above their head. Not sure if it’s every race, but it seems to happen on Norn and Charr.

I think you should wait and see which skin the thief will unlock with the Elite spec. And on another note, if you play a decent amount of time, then you will get your next zenith weapon before the expansion is released, so don’t ponder too much.

Only 4 skill types in the core profession

Sorry if this has already been brought up, but i only just noticed that because the Revenants slot skills are tied to its legends, then it means that you only need to train 4 skill types, eg. each legends skills. I know we have plenty of Hero points, but it still means that the Revenant needs less Hero points to unlock all of its slot skills.

So they have already added Taunt, Slow and Resistance, but they are not usable on many classes, and even if a class has access to it, it is only 1 skill/trait.

With the release of HoT can we expect changes to current weapon/slot skills?
Because if it’s only Revenants and Elite Specializations who gain access to these new conditions/boons then it feels kinda odd to be honest.

I know about the Necromancer trait, but you can’t stay in Death Shroud forever, well some people almost can, but in a group with permanent fury it just seems… OP
I agree that that the intended disciprion sucks though.

So as i was playing around with my Revenant i noticed and unusually right Crit-chance.
Which was apparently a result of the Trait Roiling Mists. It’s supposed to increase your fury’s effectiveness by 50%, but instead, it makes fury grant 50% additional crit-chance instead of 20%.
I’m guessing the actual effect should be to make it 30% since 1,5 × 20 = 30.
If this is the intended effect, then what the hell do i need precision for? If i’m playing with Elementalists or Warriors gushing out fury for me.

Question:
What is your reasoning behind your transfer?
Your home server only impacts WvW, so unless that is your reason, then i’d recommend saving the gems.
