Guild Wars 2

Tried to login multiple time, got log-in server error, error Code: 42:0:9001:4419. Was first thinking about a password error, so i changed it, it obviously works on the forums but i’m still getting the error from the client and can’t login

same problem here

In the “Honorary Rata Novan” achievement chain, the “protected zildi” event does not trigger the achievement, preventing achievement completion and the gain of one mastery point (tried and succeeded at the event multiple times)

“protected Zildi” does not register for me either

Today is reset day, the perfect moment to try out Vabbi and make an opinion for yourself, and of course, only for the ridiculously low price of 500 gems.

As a follow up to my earlier post, i cannot forget to talk about the community.
Our community is very inclusive and very well organized.

We have forums, with all kind of events, precursors give outs (no jokes here), forums banner contests…

We have a community Teamspeak with channels for every guild, and weekly meetings to discuss tactics, strategy, and everything WvW related. Everyone is welcome to talk.

We have our benevolent Commitee, a board of dictat…ehhmm directors that steers the Vabbi ship towards glory and greatness.

If, in addition to a great and diverse WvW experience, you’re looking to be part of a very accepting community with a purpose and a sense of identity, then Vabbi is definitely the place for you.

And remember, it only costs the pitiful sum of 500 gems to transfer (that’s nearly a giveaway)

I’d like to add my testimony on why playing WvW on Vabbi can be great and very fun.

I think the most enticing point to move to a server like Vabbi is the diversity of experiences you can have. You can do WvW in all its modalities.

If you like large scale action, we have plenty of zerg vs zerg or even blob vs blob fights on prime time (between 6pm GMT and 11pm GMT). I’ve spent hours in SM, wiping and being wiped in 30 vs 30 vs 30 fights.

If you like PPT, strategic thinking, applying pressure to the enemy where it does the most damage, ninjaing stuff, the enemy borderlands are a perfect place to do it.

If you like small scale action (which is NOT the same as sPvP, as i often read; WvW small scale has all the flaws and qualities of WvW, it’s not even or fair, it’s much less constrained, it’s more “realistic” if that term can have a meaning in a fantasy video game), the Vabbi WvW night scene is the place for you.

Guilds that like to GvG will find enough enemy guilds in T7 to get plenty of fights.

Even if you like solo roaming, dueling or trying your skill in 2v1 or 3v1, you can find what you’re looking for without being constantly overrun by an enemy zerg or blob in the area.

Finally, Vabbi is a T7 server, which leaves very much space to progress. I have the weakness to believe that being on the way to the top is much more fun than staying at the top (but i understand it’s not the case for everyone)

I often read on the forums that, apart from gold league servers, WvW is dead and boring; maybe it’s the case on T9 servers like UW or FoW, but it’s absolutely untrue for Vabbi. Of course, we don’t have queues every day, but i’ve seen (rarely but sometimes) queues up to 20 people on EBG and even small queues on borderlands, so population is there, and frankly, even if i never left my server, the prospect of 50+ queues to enter WvW doesn’t seem very appealing to me.

If the only pleasure you find in WvW is participating in massive blob vs blob fights all the time, then Vabbi is probably not for you, but in all other cases, come and join us. Don’t hesitate to have a refreshing change in the way you play (another great thing is that now, it only costs 500 gems)

Sorry if this is a noob question, but i’ve just begun the game and i’m wondering if there is any way to track map completion.

I’ve received messages about map completion, with increasing percentage while visiting new places and helping people (with a heart icon), but i cannot seem to find a summary of what i’ve already done and what remains for my map (Metrica Province).

I’ve also seen maps on the internet with a variety of icons representing the different categories of map completion objectives (red triangle for vistas, small squares for points of interests…), but most of these icons don’t show up on my world map, even with the “world completion” checkbox checked, i only see the hearts. Is it because my level is too low (3 atm), or is there a key to activate it ?

ok, i’ve created a Guild Wars 2 folder in my Documents folder, then a Music folder in the new Guild Wars 2 folder, and i put a MainMenu.m3u playlist in it and it works

I’ve just bought and installed Guild Wars 2, and i’ve read about replacing the default music with my own tracks by copying a play list in the documents > Guild wars 2 folder.
The problem is, there isn’t any Guild Wars 2 folder in my documents folder. Do i have to create it or to activate something in game, is it maybe elsewhere (i’ve found a Guild Wars 2 folder in AppData/roaming). My OS is win7
