Caps should be higher and maps should be larger/more spaced out. Worlds have lots of ppl, w/o lots of ppl its not very world v worldy. Just my opinion though.

As long as the ele can target you they don’t need LoS to use that spell. Could be wrong but that looked like more than 5 FA, not counting ppl on siege at the beginning of that fight. 4/10 chest thumps.

Were/are there any talks about having some type of GvG matches type of thing goin on? Like the spvp stuff? The game is called Guild Wars after all haha.

From an outsiders perspective, having never participated in any GvG in this game, it looks boring as hell and really hard to see any individual skill involved outside of spamming aoe’s and following your friends around closely. Oh and using portals.

I’m sure there is more to it though.

To the KN charr engi that I just had a 1v1 with, was a good fight, you finally killed me after running toward your guards 3-4 times. You didn’t need to laugh though BLNT guild tag or w/e.

I just soloed an FA and KN zerg, simultaneously..with a flame ram. With that i’m going to bed.

Oh, I know the WvW objectives. I still try to cap sentry, attack/defend southern camps, kill yaks etc while i’m roaming around. Doesn’t mean I still can’t try to find some fun fights at the same time.

And I don’t want duels either hehe. The part of not knowing who you might be fighting or how many is a big element of fun for me, and usually the ruins area’s are a good spot for that but today has been a bit frustrating. But yeah, other things to do. Have fun.

I’ve noticed more ppl running from 1v1’s more in this game than any pvp game I’ve ever played lol. Its funny though, they quickly turn around when they see friends coming to help. This happens from every server I’ve played against though, not singling any out.

FA ruins has been no fun today, at all! Stop zerging me, this is the designated solo/duo area! Or maybe it isn’t.

FA has a lot of roamers/ havoc squads, but like you said TC has very little small teams to fight, Kain does have a lot of small groups and roamers though and I am always finding fun fights with my guild’s small groups.

So, the logical choice would be to join TC right? Have all those FA/KN small man’s to fight against, instead of joining them.

Howdy ya’ll, just wanted to say been having a lot of fun last few days hanging out at kn/fa ruins area. Finding some good 1v1’s and 1v2’s, really excellent players out there. /salute

Its the fastest way I’ve found to get the ambient kill daily finished.

For now I vote TC and Kaineng officially form an alliance, Kaineng Coast? And never invade the others borderlands and just split Fort Aspenweirds (lol) borderlands and 1/3rd of their EB. Then trade wins every other week, yeah!

Joking of course, I know its weird for kain not to be ahead all the time but I think they’re gonna be just fine.

I’ve been running 0/10/10/20/30 build in WvW a lot lately solo. I use GS/Sword + Focus and rely on blinds and the vuln on blind trait. Still working around on mixing and matching gear etc but I do really well with that build. And its fun to play imo.

I for one encourage kids to play youth sports such as tee ball. It teaches how to be competitive and still show good sportsmanship to your opponents win or lose. Don’t generalize a server based off a few posts sheesh.

Oh jeese. I was reading this not remembering that, and my first thought was, wow, those thieves are jerkheads.

Then I remembered it was me.

And I’m sorry. From your perspective, that had to suck.

I just really hate guardians, and from the other thief’s play style, I think we both knew it would be a draw. So I grouped with him afterward and said thanks for the help, and we went on our ways.

I was the little Asuran thief. It’s nothing personal, and I didn’t know the other guy. But it WAS funny running across this.

Both the previous posts do make sense But i do see in open field where TC and Kaineng see each other, and completely ignore each other. It is also rumored that TC will breach an objective and leave it for kaineng to take, so at times it seems like double- teaming. Just stating what I see :P

The last 2 posts are completely logical

Last week I trebbed Bay on TCBL over and over and watched as both FA and Kain took turns flipping it. It was entertaining. That open wall was very tempting, too tempting, and it was predictable that one team or the other wouldn’t be able to resist its siren call. Our team, meanwhile, had no interest in Bay during that particular time frame, so it was an easy way to keep the KN and FA zergs occupied while we did other stuff.

So yep, I breached Bay wall last week so Kain would go contest it. But I later breached it again so FA could contest it.

Strategery

FA too strong, they must be taken down!…oh wait they’re red now. Gosh you really had us goin saweth. I kid, I kid. Good stuff though, good matches for 3 weeks and counting.

From past experiences in open world pvp/wvw games, zergs are inevitable. Just in this game they seem harder to avoid due to the smaller maps. I applaud your attempts at trying to get ppl to see things your way, but they are going to do what they want and the majority seem to prefer running in zergs atm. Maybe it is fun for them.

I would like to see the whole tier system revamped personally. Change it to a tournament or round robin, just something to remove tier stagnation. Would be exciting and bring a freshness every reset not knowing who you will be facing.

With their really being no rewards for being first or winning your tier other then saying you are first I don’t see a reason this couldn’t work. You could go from dominating one week to being dominated the next, except for the extreme cases like the top t1 and maybe the bottom t8 but who knows.

Darkness falls went live in 2002 sometime? ToA expac was in 2003, people getting darkness falls zone and Darkness Rising expac mixed up in here.

Of course it wasn’t completely balanced, never tried to say it was, just that I pity those that were tasked with that job.

Thing that still stands out to me for DAoC was the unique classes for each realm, I know warhammer did that but was only 2 diff factions. Pity those that try/tried to balance all that in a pvp setting and still have the classes be unique.

Having fun in GW2 atm but eh to me its nothing like DAOC around SI times.

To the FA Charr i laughed at in KN BL lil while ago, sorry . Not one to usually laugh or emote at ppl but that was a lil bit funny. I mean you did follow me up to our legendary guards and kept attacking me hehe.

To the NERF ppl that were there as well, you guys stay classy :p
