I recently wanted to start doing WvW but I have a problem. I main an ele and can not get the hang of any build meant for WvW or sPvP. I usually play a Mesmer or Thief in sPvP. I recently tried Necromancer and I feel in love with my condition build. Would it be a worthy opponent in WvW (I don’t have any to 80. That’s why I’m asking) compared to a well built Mesmer or Thief?

Would farming CoF be a good way to get the necessary lodestones to craft Volckitten? Would farming world bosses for a month be more profitable? I recently asked someone in my guild how much gold they can make in a month and he said around 400 gold. Volckitten is currently close to 500 gold, so is it better to get Volckitten and sell it?

I would rather have the one waypoint a map and mounts, then the way it is now. I have always been a big fan of mounts and think they would be a good style thing.

I was messing around in the build editor looking for ways to do very high damage in WvW roaming. I want to know if y’all think this would be able to be used without dying against almost all my enemies.

I don’t have much knowledge of the lore at all but I would like to do this. I could be one of the engineers.

wasd=movement
q= left strafe e= right strafe
c= heal
alt+a= fire
alt+s= water
alt+d= air
alt+w= earth
12345= attacks
alt+c= utility 1
alt+q= utility 2
alt+e= utility 3
mouse 4= elite

So try adding toughness and vitality, or have even more power and kill them before they can kill me? Thanks! I’ll try both and see what works better for me.

I have been trying to do more dungeon runs here lately. I have been equipping the armor I get from the pavilion. Most of my armor has power/precision stats. I have been dying a lot in my runs. I’m only in the 40s so the only dungeons I run are Ascalonian Catacombs and Caudecus Manor. What should I do different in my staff ele to not go down as much?

I was gearing up in PvP and I ran into something that I want quite sure about. If I use a sigil of bloodlust and a sigil of force when I have 2 weapons in one set (2 one handed weapons. That seemed confusing), will the effects stack?

What server and region are you on? I just started a mesmer that is only about level 3. I’m interested in playing and I’m sure my guild would accept you with love.

It’s there any way to use the LFG tool to find small roaming groups in wvw? From what I have seen, my build isn’t that big into wvw

From what Hayashi said, playing an ele is hard but once you get comfortable, you can do a lot off damage very quickly.

I was looking at swords on the trading post and I came across the cinematic weapons. They all seemed to be trade based but I was wondering where I can get them.

Which would be better for PvP?

If you are teaming with a thief, I would say mesmer. Me and a guildie were messing around in PvP and those illusions would really help you two. There are so many to hit and we found just his illusions could kill me. I was getting hit with 4k damage spikes.

Could anyone tell me how this combination of armour and dyes would look?

Abyss, oxblood, and sapphire dyes
Armour: AC helm, CoF gloves,shoulders, and shoes, CM coat and pants
All medium armour

If anyone had a screenshot, that would be great! Any opinions would be nice too.

P.S. It would be an asura ranger.

I don’t know if you all have met our seen Abbadon’s combat guide, but he taught me a way to make my own build. I doubt I will try to go for a bunker build. Thanks for the opinions!

I like fast paced and ranged attacks. Out of all the ones I have tried, it has been the closest but I haven’t tried ranger or necro
