A range meter would be nice. A damage one would be nice if it just worked on self only. Can a just builds better. People are going to roughly do the math mentally and try to max their dps anyways. So saying theorycraftering is not necessary is not going to stop people who like this aspect of mmos. The problem is not being able to see your dps it is being able to see other players dps. That is what causes the problems with wanting to kick some one because they are lower.
What I would like for an elite skill would be a signet that makes both types of illusions last until I drop combat. Make them more of a pet that I have to spend the time to get out. I do not see this being OP for PvE, I am not sure how it would be for PvP.
The other option I would like would be a signet that makes only clones not vanish at all until shattered or killed, and they target what ever I attack. Make it so they have a random formation around the mesmer when not in combat that way PvP the other side will not just target the middle one, they have a chance of getting a fake one. If we are suppose to confuse who we are fighting we should be doing it before they even see us.
Some how I think the answer is no it does not, and is a bonus per each mantra. A mes can have 4 mantras up at a time, that gives 16% damage increase. If it was for each stack of it it would be 32% or 48% with the trait that makes mantras have 3 casts.
It would be great if some one that has tested posted it.
