Please don’t “fix” it.
There’s still the Glowing Crimson Mask for everyone who wants glowing eyes without bloodstone effects.
Will there be a cooldown on repair hammers, and maybe a limit how many people in one are can repair/ how often siege can be repaired? Maybe a “buff” that shows “Can be reapired three times” that counts down every time something is repaired? Can’t find any mention of this in the Dev post, and imo this is really important.

Imagine 20 people repairing the Cannons on the top of SM.
Bring back Friday reset party night.
Players will also no longer be able to revive defeated players while in combat.
Sounds good except, this change will increase pin sniping to an extreme. I wouldn’t make this change.

Commander focus has been a problem for a loooooong time now, and with this change some people might be even more tempted to snipe the enemy com.
(I would love this change as much as the others if it excluded Squadleads, the “trying to rezz a downed player on top of a dead player” can be pretty frustrating.)
I am referring to the fact that we all do not speak for the majority. What speaks for the majority is the numbers referenced above. That more players log in on Saturday nights then friday.
Because queues don’t exist and they only looked at WvW players for this data, like they always do!

Assuming that they’re big enough to have 15vs15 / 20vs20 or even bigger fights.
And judging from what we’ve seen so far, they’re not.even if the os stays a good place to gvg, i have to say that this isnt the single purpose of this map. at the moment the map gets almost only used for duells and gvgs, but i miss the original purpose of the map, as it was at the start of the game : a wvw style jumping puzzle arena.
Or guilds forcing you to pay them 20g to let you through. Hell yeah.

Everything important has been said but a part of me is still hoping that ANet might actually read this and that repeating the important things might change something so…
Map is too big, too much verticality, too much verticality, too much verticality, too many random mobs that simply don’t belong in WvW, too many “fun mechanics” that are a nice idea but don’t belong in WvW either.
The gameplay shouldn’t be about finding a way down that hill without dying. The gameplay shouldn’t be about having one guy scout for traps so the whole zerg won’t wipe.
Don’t get me wrong – the map is beautiful. It’s a great design, awesome mechaincs, fun to run around and look at, it’s really amazing! But it simply isn’t WvW.
I could see this map replacing ebg. But not the borderlands.

Breaking out of an map is not something we would normally ban for unless it was being maliciously used. That being said, some breakouts require useage of a bug to perform them and may look overly suspicious to a GM that may be trailing you. I’ll look into it.
Well, people wrote about it 2 years ago and didn’t get banned + I’m not even getting any advantage or intervere with other players while trying to reach that area… hmm. People to worse things and don’t get banned, but I’m aware that my post “can” be deleted anytime..
This was in no way about him possibly abusing bugs (you can’t use the login-glitch in dungeons) but rather about him posting this right after (or during) the map-breaking-ban-drama which looks like trying to provoke the Devs into a quicker reply on the topic (Chris is currently looking into it, as you stated).
While I agree that a clarification on the whole “is breaking out of the map okay” thing would be nice, if this post was intended to stir up drama (as penelopehannibal.8947 asked), it’s really just unnecessary.
But yeah. Mainly about bad timing and giving the “but others did it so it should be okay” reply.
Then again, his question is answered so it all should be fine now.

Pretty sure you’re trying to “rock the boat” at this point.
Maybe anet will show the same kind of love to PVE and PVP. We can have a 5-way racial war in PVE with pvp turned on in all maps and towns. Killing uplevels grants double the points! Before long, all will bow down to our human female overladies. And for PVP maybe, for a week, it can be turn-based costume brawl in all new underwater maps only. It’ll be fun, I’m sure PVErs and PVPers will love it. What can possibly go wrong?
And I thought giving all Mobs (including dungeons and fractals ofc) a 100% damage and speed boost (which ofc scale with their stats) and having PvErs pay 4-7g to get the same buff and get clumsy skills with longer cooldowns until they log off (and have to pay again to get the 100% buffs etc back) would be a great idea. But kitten , yours sounds much more fun!
I don’t play WvW only. But, eh, it’s hard to focus 100% on a game mode if there is NO SUPPORT FROM THE DEVELOPERS. NONE. NO. SUPPORT. AT ALL.
Oh it’s lagging? Yeah let’s turn down the map cap for a few days… and keep it that way.
Ah you don’t like the eotm map and the PvE Events in WvW? We have a whole new map for you that is 100% eotm-style with all the good PvE stuff! Don’t worry about deffing your stuff, it will be done automatically while you can relax and enjoy the karma-train!

Experiencing major lag-issues in the Gunnar’s Hold – Vizunah – Riverside Matchup when entering Obsidian Sanctum.
We tried to scrim yesterday and tuesday and it was unplayable for both sides. After leaving the map the ping takes a few minutes to drop.
Must be a server issue as we (Riverside) are from Germany and our scrim partner (Gunnar’s Hold) is EU and both reported major issues (people dropping dead without taking any damage, huge skilldelays, freezes& disconnects).
Time must’ve been around 21:00 – 22:00 cest
You don’t need to double-tap spacebar to summon your glider. If you jump and hold down space, your glider will come out until you put it back up. What’s most likely going on is that you’re holding space for too long when you jump; you don’t have to hold it down long at all for this to happen.
- Glider sometimes seems to auto-activate for me (even in the story instance), I am not holding down spacebar, but maybe it’s my keyboard
I’m more of a quickly-tap-they-key-person. But as I said: Might be my keyboard.
- My character auto-interacts with any mushroom I run past. I did check, not pressing F, the “You need to….” message pops up.
Auto-interaction is not a problem, the message box is.
I wouldn’t know if it’s an interaction problem or just a message box popping out randomly, because we don’t have an interact-log.
Might be just a popup when running past.
Might be an actual interaction bug.

It seems to auto-deploy. Not a bad thing, but it could be refined a bit. Mine would auto-deploy when I jumped on a flat terrain (would love to be able to glide down hills though).
Not a bad thing indeed (in most scenarios at least, annoyin when you try to jump up somewhere), but imo a higher gliding level thing, if it’s intended.

You don’t need to hold spacebar. You hit it once the glider comes out. Another and closes.
To clarify: I press spacebar to jump. Glider pops up without pressing it again.
I am NOT talking about pressing space in mid air, but just using it to jump.. well, anywhere.

- Screenshots taken in the beta have a lowwer quality than sscreenshots I took outside of the beta (today, same settings)
- When Metella speeks the „We’re not going to last much longer. We can barely muster enough soldiers to protect ourselves.“ in the story instance, you hear it in the voice of Agent Gunnard (checked twice)
Thanks for the fantastic beta. I had a great evening with my friend, we had lots of fun, fell to our death multiple times and tried to climb up every edge.
I noticed that, too. But as others said: It’s still in beta.
What got me confused, is that the screenshots I took during Beta have a lower quality than the ones I took outside of the beta. It’s not my settings, took some screens of DR today with the same settings and they look fine.
It’s not your normal account’s wallet, but a copy of it, used specifically for the beta. The materials you are storing stay on the beta side of the account.
What about transmutation charges ? used a ton in the beta.
Should be a copy, too. Used one, still have all my transmutation charges on my.. real Characters.

RNG is RNG, but I do agree that the Fractals spoons seem rarer than most. It doesn’t help that it only drops from mobs, and there is a tendency for players to skip mobs in several Fractals.
I do a Fractals run once a week. Since the September feature patch, I’ve only ever gotten 2 Fractal spoons. In contrast, I’ve gotten about 20 Siege Commander spoons, and I got the Carved Bone Spoon on my very first attempt when doing Tequatl again after the Collections.

Yeah I experienced the same with the Siege Commanders spoon, and I’ve been getting a Carved Bone Spoon for every Teq I’ve killed since the patch…
Does the spoon drop in low level fractals?
If I remember correctly (and if it wasn’t a chatcode), a partymember got one at lvl 6. It doesn’t say that you have to do a certain level on the wiki either.
So I’ve completed my Koutalophile chievement. Well, I almost completed it.
One week after the feature patch I started to do Fractals at least daily, often I’d do multiple Fractals below level 10. I’ve also done lvl 29-38 regularly.
The rings I get are most of time with condition damage so I mainly did Fractals to finally get the spoon and complete the collection.
But until now, I haven’t recieved one. Someone in my group always ends up getting at least one ring each run, a friend got three in one run.
I’m a little frustrated to be honest.
I’ve been throwing all the yellows I get in the mystic toilet since ~3 weeks and already got a precursor out of it.
Whyyyy can’t I get a kitten spoon out of something I do on a regular basis, but instead a precursor out of the mystic toilet when I only waste stuff in it twice a day? kitten rng.
Anyone else having problems with the fractal/ commanders/ bone spoon?
