Also they almost destroyed economy in few days ._.To craft 12 Ascended items:
3000 tier 6 fine crafting material
12 vials of condensed mist essence
600 globs of ectoplasm
288 skill pointsTo infuse 12 Ascended items:
3000 Passion Fruits
1200 Vicious Claws
12 Eldritch Scrolls = 600 skill points
240 Mystic Coins = 240 daily achievementsEnjoy your grind.
Right, but how many ascended item slots are there at present? Three. You can also buy infusions with the dungeon tokens.

Not saying it isn’t a grind. But let’s not pretend people need to be gathering 3000 passion fruit this week to be able to play. If I choose to grind content I enjoy for gear I want that’s my decision. I don’t insult your play style, so don’t insult mine.

I think no. That said, there should be gear that is certainly adequate for all content that is easy to get, which is currently true. Gearing yourself up in exotics is a fairly short task. With exotics you’re geared to do all the content in the game, heck I’ve been running FotM up to level 13 in all rare armor.
I like having a long term goal like ascended gear. That said, I understand the complaints about it in WvW and think there needs to be a challenging but reasonable means of acquiring it through WvW.
I’m most concerned about coming to Lion’s Arch later on down the road to see everyone dressed in the exact same ascendance gear. All individual looks will be gone because why would people want to look unique when they can kill anyone who does? Groups will take one look at how your equipped and instantly the “noob” argument will come into play which is sad because I haven’t seen any of that going on so far. It was like a breath of fresh air…
Please don’t try to predict the future. Transmutation stones exist so there goes that argument about everyone looking the same. No reasonable group is going to instantly kick people not in ascended gear, unless they’re (surprise) doing FotM at levels that need it or the person is decked out in just blues and greens. Let’s stop painting the progression community all as elitist snobs. Some people are, but then there are plenty of a**holes against progression making attacks on here too.
Finding a group for the new dungeon Fractals of the Mist is so annoying and just…. i dunno…
1) people are ’’lfg’’ for the same level, yet they dont actually ask or invite anyone.
2) the worst part, people care SO MUCH about your level ‘’are you 80? no? well ok, bye then’’
i mean, you get SCALED up… (the character i wanted to do it with, was 65, and yet people werent ok with me being scaled up 15 levels)…3) So once i got a group, at some point, we seemed to be dying a lot, so i unequipped my clothes, and when i explained that i dont wanna spend that much money on that overpriced repair system, they kicked me from the party and i had to do it all over again..
4) People arent having fun in this game…at all…. just lots of rudeness and caring about getting loot.. I mean…all i want to do is to enjoy playing this game -.-
there might be something else, but i cant remember atm.
1. Not sure how this affects you.
2. That’s the group’s prerogative if they don’t want people below level 80. I personally only want to group with level 80 players because they’re going to have more traits and probably are better geared for their level than you are, since people don’t go for valuable gear while leveling.
3. I would kick you as well. With no gear equipped you’re a detriment to the group. There are plenty other people who can scrape together the handful of silver for repairs.
4. I’m having fun. I think I count as people.
