I was doing that but the thing is if you make a misstep and die and don’t get back in time. You need to do the entire thing again.
It takes two fireballs to do 1% damage as I’m a staff ele. That means need to land 200 hits without making a single mistake to assure victory
Today I reached this fight. I have been trying to do this fight for about 20 minutes now. I can’t. I would like to give some feedback on this fight.
The fight itself is fairly well balanced. The strategy is clear but the issue is it’s nigh on impossible to solo for the following three reasons
Reason 1: Allies
None of your allies do anything. I have 4 allies here . We have fought together through thick and thin. The entire section is about us getting back together after being split
Why is it then that my allies are doing nothing. Is it intentional or are they bugged?
Reason 2 : Caithe
This ties in to the above. Thoughout this mission Caithe has been amazing about getting you back up if your a solo player.
She suddenly stops once this fight kicks in. If this is foreshadowing for what is to come then cool but as it is your expecting her aid and it just stops..
Reason 3 : Predator Health Regen Timer
Now I’m not sure how this works but the issue is because the Predator is not drawing any aggro off your allies due to them being broken. The Predator can and will regen its health unless you respawn, run to the gate , hit f and tag him.
This timing has to be perfect, most of the time by the time I got back in to the boss a few milliseconds made the difference between it reclaiming 5% health and it regenerating fully
Please either extend this or move the respawn point closer to the centre so the player has more time to get back in and if need be attrition the Predator to death.
Thank you as always though for a beautiful game. This was just proving frustrating.

Managed to resolve the matter by using the rename .exe trick to make the game create the files in the second drive.
Thanks for offering advice though mate
I have since managed to free the main drive up to 35GB. I am still getting the information about not enough space being avaliable.
Is there any way to resolve this or further information I need to supply.
Attempting to log in causes the game to just sit and idle with the wheel animation running rather than take me any further. I am aware this is sometimes seen as a sign that the PC does not meet specs but I am running the following
Intel Premium R 2.8ghz processor , 4gb ram , Service Pack 3 , 250GB HD Space (across two drives) and am using an Radeon R7 250 Graphics Card.

Hi Guild Wars 2 Support Team
I am currently in the process of reinstalling Guild Wars 2. I have had some trouble downloading the client which appears to have been due to not running as admin.
However when I do so the game is now saying I do not have enough install space. I have two drives attached to the machine. A 75GB and a 250GB. The 250GB is attached within the C Drive as a seperate folder although obviously for the purposes of space the C Drive is still seen as a 75GB Drive.
Is there any way to alter the installation location of the guild wars 2 file so it goes into the 250GB drive thats been attached to the PC rather than treating the PC as only having 16GB left.
Kind Regards
Luke
shrugs I’m not mad or anything. Just saying kind of have noted a very similar thing in the LS that the OP pointed out. I don’t like entering these sort of threads as people make assumptions and try to pull posts apart as it’s a very heated concept.
And yes the PS is defiantly more balanced. I wouldn’t use it as an argument for saying its male centric as it’s got some pretty kitten cool female centric arcs and characters in there as well
Actually I have developed similar concerns as the OP and was discussing this with my guild a few days ago.
The fact is so far every female character introduced in the LS has been great and amazing, wonderful and powerful whilst every male has either been portrayed as a moron or put into the villain role. I like what Arenanet is doing . I like that it’s showing women in positions of power and authority. They did a really good job with it back in GW1 across the 3 campaigns creating a variety of interesting and fun female characters who weren’t defined by thier gender. Devona , Cynn and Gwen stand out to me. I like as a company that they have put several female team mates into prominent position and they respect thier contributions . Big thumbs up here for that guys.
However I am starting to feel uncomfortable with the points the OP mentioned. It could actually be nothing and the situation could just be that a large amount of the writing staff are female so they write what they know. We have accounts in the games industry in the past where female team mates have had to point out in team meetings that certain scenes in a plot seem a little “unconsentingly close”.
Personally I think it’s a good thing. Just don’t want in the process of trying to be changers in the industry overcompensating so much you do so in reverse. Kinda like how people overcompensate the way they act around people with learning difficulties so mark work higher but somehow lower in doing so.
As an item I really like it. Its something unique and stand-alone although the fact it takes up an item slot is a little annoying. Hopefully the items use will be expanded
However as the finalk reward for the entire murder mystery arc it feels a tad underwhelming. Would have been nice to get it and something else, even if that else was just another bag of coins
Aaah heres the positivity thread.
So fare this seems a lot better then Southsun minus a few niggles.
The drop rate on the boxes is generous enough to feel like don’t need to farm them and may get lucky and get a ticket in the future
Dragon Ball is fun and its defiently fast navigating around the arena once you figure out how to use the pads properly. Not sure if orbs have set powers though.
Emitters and Pinatas are nice to just whack as and when I see them. So overall got to say a lot better .
Now just make sure the PVP achievements don’t bug out this time like the Southsun Crab Toss did. Still annoyed couldn’t complete that by the time it left
Got to say this is kind of my feeling as well. Theres a sort of “Well what do I do now”.
I think part of it is maybe not enjoying my class it seems a bit too fragile and lacking in damage output so everything seems like a slog but the other part is honestly have no darn clue what should be doing next, other then grinding for pretty skins or achievements
Drake flat out kills my ele in one hit with that retreat move. Learning to cut huge swathy paths away from them
Assuming the fires stick around I actually will be happy. It means the world will have had a permanent change if just a small one.
However there were flaws and issues. Most of them have been stated elsewhere on the boards
Hello my name is. Well kind of says my name right there on the left doesn’t it
I like to roleplay in my MMO’s and no not that sort you naughty person however my current server seems a little …light on the immersion quality
Have the roleplayers ended up picking thier server for roleplaying in yet. If so do people know which it is .
Kind of getting lonely being the only one roleplaying
.
Seriously whoever the design lead/designers were for this event. Give them a nice big hug and buy them a beer or something. I’m sure it took everyone to pull this off but I seriously want to thank whoever it was that managed to catch that feel of 8 bit gaming.
I couldn’t have asked for an homage that felt truer. From the princess kidnap scene to the way the little sound effects to the way the enemies die.
Its hitting me in all my happy spots
. Its clearly been very well thought out down to the tinest details.
Even the trailer caught the narm/totally rad (and distinct lack of actual gameplay) from 80’s videogame trailers
Okay assuming that the Super Adventure Box is not a one day april fools joke and two the chests are in set positions and not randomly spawned when a player enters the area
The chest that spawns on the left side of Venim Vale near the Protect the Lab from the Inquest event is hovering several meters off the ground.
Um yeah not sure if these sorts of bugs are relevant but just letting you know if it does need fixing.
