My problem with all the turret Engi’s that have admitted to just farming it because it’s a cheese build, is not that they do it, but that the build is so AI heavy and so AI strong that the turret Engi can just sit on a point while the AI carries them. In my opinion no class should have any mechanic where the AI is that strong. Look at other classes with AI similar to that. Spirit Weapons on Guardian, Minions on Necro…there’s a reason there are hardly any of them, cause the AI is bad and the damage isn’t there. So why do we reward turret engis for just dropping turrets and practically AFK’ing?
What is going on with this map? Why do people seem to have the urge to have a messy fight on top of the orb? In the amount of time it takes to channel the orb, and run it all the way to one of the points, it will NEVER equal the amount of points you get from holding 2 points in that same time frame. So why do people insist on having 3 min fights on orb while getting double capped? And why am I the stupid one every time I bring this up to my teammates? Anyone?
I am not saying that they should never play pvp ever again, far from it actually. I think PVP is the funnest aspect of this game, but when it is something like solo q, if someones internet cant keep up, why should I have to suffer? They can still play hojoin if they want to pvp, or do wvw. I feel bad when it happens to the other team, I’m not trying to be selfish here, thought more people would think the same thing as me. Your telling me you have never had a d/c that affected you in a match?
What about even a sort of thing like the ole Xbox “report” system where you could give people reviews like rude in chat, or leaves games/quits early, stuff like that. Everyone can look at it pre-game and kick someone if they have a 50% leave rating, etc.
Yeah, still doesnt seem fair. Idk, when you work hard to try and climb up the leaderboards, and get 2 4v5s in a row, it gets to be frustrating.
Depends on what you want to do with your death blossom thief build. If you are running into zergs with it, it is useless. There is far too much condi removal (warriors alone have 4 cleanses) and you will be left with no initiative and you’ll die. As far as roaming goes, I still think condi thieves can be very effective going against almost every class on a smaller scale
This is the build I currently run on my thief. Have SOOOOO much fun on it. It is all about evades, and with zerker gear, it still hits super hard. Check it out! It’s the build that the thief that won ToL 1 used, sort of introduced it to everyone =D http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fZAQNAsYVl0MpwpVOx7J8PNBNB5dY+SZ0KAdfko0XA-TZBFwACeAAl2fYxRAoaZAAnCAA
Most guilds run a split of hammer/gs and staff/gs guardians. They both have their perks, but a zerg would gladly take either. The empower is great off staff, and with some cleric accessories, it can be a very effective heal, whereas hammer provides an immob and the ring which is nice for catching anyone with stab down. Pick whichever you like, and roll with it!
Haha, just made a forum post about this myself. 2 games in a row this morning. I think there needs to be some sort of penalty to discourage people with bad connections, or people who do it a lot to not play tPvP
Hey guys. Just a quick forum post to get some other people’s thoughts. I consider myself a pretty active sPvP player as of lately, more specific tPvP. Anyway, am I the only one who thinks that there needs to be a harsher penalty for people that disconnect/leave in tPvP matches? Don’t get me wrong, I understand stuff happens, and anyone can D/C at anytime, but when I queue up to do my morning matches and 2 games in a row I am at a 4v5 disadvantage, it becomes really frustrating. I think a harsher penalty will cause people that just have bad connections to not play tPvP, and not put other people at a disadvantage. If they want to play tPvP they will either need to upgrade their internet, or stick to hotjoin. I mean, I had a guy that was playing using his 3G as a mobile hotspot this morning…..not okay

My problem is when there are multiple commanders on the map.
and in the mess of the fight, two groups might join together…and after the fight i often end up following the other commander by mistake (I check my mini-map for commander’s movement). If commanders themselves could change the tag colour…that would be great.
So when multiple group merged in the field temporary, I know I am following the yellow tag or the blue tag.
Mizzy you can actually right click on a commander tag and join their squad which takes all other commander tags off of the map in your screen. That way you know which one you are following for the times your groups cross up! Then when you are done following that commander you can go to the party selection tab in top left part of screen and leave that commander’s squad!
As far as original post, I agree 100%. It seemed that at the time we needed some of our best well known commanders on at reset we had some people that I have rarely to never seen. (this coming from someone who has done a lot of WvW lately) Also to anyone saying “I don’t see you tagging up” or “it takes balls to tag up” I know for a fact that OP is one of our servers best commanders I think he’s just trying to make a point
I too need help. Logging on now. Map chat seems to not be so willing to help
thanks mate! Hell of a guide! Had me from 0-400 in a matter of minutes. Thanks again
