Thanks everyone. It’s a sylvari greatsword. lovely green blade with stalk-look handle and ivy entwining the back edge of the blade part way. I will look at the Aureate but if that’s a human look it’s unlikely.
Anyway basically you’re saying no matter what the transmute window says, if it is getting stats from a white weapon it will not be soulbound? If so I’ll do it.
If he has another email address it might be easier to just make a new account for this free trial? I know any help from support takes a while so he’d miss it.
When I look at transmuting something it gives me a warning that this will make it soulbound. So how can it work to un-soulbind something?
I have a really neat lvl 11 Avenger greatsword I got from personal story that I would love to pass on the appearance of to my guardian.
Sent you a pm yesterday
Hi, I’ve been playing just a week and am older than most (kids grown and flown the nest). I’d love to find a guild of people around my age group for relaxed fun in pve with the intention of learning the ropes without any name calling please. I hope to try wvw later.
I’m in the UK so please EU English speaking guilds only.
No elitist or hardcore please.
I want friendly chat and the option to progress as slowly as I wish although I play daily
Thanks for reading
Shame you don’t want to stay, but my advice would have been to play solo for a while. Once you each learn to handle your own class well you will better understand how to play to complement each other. Just my opinion and I’m new but hey it’s worth a punt.
Thank you Memphisjz, you now have that pm
I’m looking! You have a pm.
The links are great and I pm’d you Questular
Thank you for the lovely convo last night
You guys are fun! Thanks for the watch.
IMO you get more out of joining a guild early than waiting.
But I also think it’s important to wait until you have some idea of what you want from a guild before you go looking for one.
1* Do you want to do PvE? PvP? WvW?
2* Do you want a newbie friendly guild that will help you through things you haven’t done before but won’t do more hardcore content or things like speedruns, or do you want a guild that might be less sympathetic while you’re learning but will push you to be better and do more?
3* Are you willing to represent 100% of the time? Do you care if other guild members are not representing (and you therefore can’t talk to them in guild chat)?
4* Do you want regular guild missions or other events, or would you rather be able to do things as and when enough people are online? These are just examples, what you want from a guild might be very different but I definitely think it’s worth thinking about and taking the time to find a guild you really like instead of just jumping into whichever one comes along first.
Firstly thank you to everyone that replied
Danikat: very good points to raise and I think I can answer those:
1* Pve mostly at least to start but would love to learn wvw too. Pvp doesn’t grab me.
2* I don’t like hardcore or elite. I’d hope for friendly and relaxed atmosphere?
3* Represent? what’s that? Like a uniform or what? We can’t chat if not wearing it? Odd idea!
4* Regular or ad lib is harder, why not a bit of both? If things are timed to suit it would be great to join in once I’m high enough level. It would also be great to group for normal Pve stuff sometimes. Playing with others can be fun but some of the time solo is good too.
So can anyone please answer what point 3* , represent, is please? And why it would prevent chatting? Ta
I know in some games you join a guild as soon as you start playing and in other games you have to reach a certain level before any will accept you. I can’t seem to find info on this. So can someone please advise at what level it’s best to look for a guild to join? Ta
What character level do people normally join a guild? Ta
