HEY DEVS, SEE THIS !!!!!!!

First of all, I think this is pretty awesome because :

• I will spare a lot of place in my inventory and my bank
• I can now use all skins obtained by the BLTC on all my char

What disapoint me :

• Transmutation stone / point rate is pretty low ! I had More than 50 transmut. stone for my low level char (<80), and a this rate, 1 point spent to make them pretty looking is too high
• All skins I destroyed until now are unusable
• I have to log in all my chars and equip them with all their equipment, one at the time, to unlock them

About dyes :

• Actually I had many HIGH COST dyes on more than one char…. And I’m rewarded with unidentified dyes ? I think this is not fair, don’t you ?

As we said earlier, If that’s fitting to everyone, why will they explain anything about how this armor came in BLTC… At last, It’s not the armor which is breaking the lore, it’s customers. I’m done with this topic.

Frankly, if you take this statement to it’s logical conclusion, basically you are saying that the mere presence of a cash shop is lore breaking.

A cash shop with that kind of content is a lore breaker. That’s exactly what I’m saying.

In GW1 Factions, you should become “Closer to the Stars”, the “Factions” equivalent to Prophecies “Ascended”. But zodiacal bodies was only for mobs during this questline, explained by shorter frontiere through “The Mists”. But Zodiacal creatures wasnt “alive”. In GW1 you could loot Zodiac Weapons on those mobs.

Magical thing in Tyria (the world, not the continent) are explained by the Bloodstones. Zodiac and other stuff by “The Mists”. Zodiac Armors bought by players in a cash shop are Lore Breaking. If only they earned it though a quest in “The Mists” to become “Closer to the Stars”… But no, then it’s Lore Breaking.

Does a cash shop with very very high magical stuff is lore breaking ? Yes.
Does we could see something like that in GW1 ? No. Because GW2 is not here to please fans, only to make money. But this is another story.

EDIT : Yes on this pic, Dwayna is wearing something close the the actual zodiac armor. But nobody is astonished ? Players looks like a GOD, but you’re saying to me it’s not lore breaking ??

Since Arena Net get all their funds from the Cash Shop (as far as I know, It wasn’t the first purpose for that), they’re producing content for helping people to buy it (normal).

But why, tell me why did you released Zodiacal Armor, It’s freaking wierd, lore breaking and IMO it seems like you forgotten a texture !

Okay, as I see, everyone have some improvement except the Warrior. If I want to support as a Warrior, I really don’t care about where is my battlecry cooldown ! You want the Warrior to be supportive ? Give him more options to support than Battlecry only !

Seriously, you’re joking me ? Guardian wasn’t strong enough ? He can almost solo ascalonian catacombs !

You spoke about meta in PvE ? Or in WvW ? Racials can’t unbalance the game if they are all equals each other. But actually, do you know someone using a racial instead of a class specific skill (except Balthazar Hounds)? No, then, why just not simply delete those useless skills ?

I’m not according to you ! Racials are not strong, are not fun, nobody use it. I’m really disapointed because I though Norns could be like in GW1 : Almost everytime in form.

But please, don’t speak about a PvE or WvW metagame. How many games perfectly works with that kind of skills in PvE or RvR ?

Same here, France, disrupting error 7 since yesterday. Especially in instance (dungeon, personal story, etc…).

As I remember, ArenaNet always said that Cantha and Elona would be reachable in GW2. The real question is: When ?
Because we know why we can’t go here.

We can’t go to Cantha because :
- Zaithan fleet is in the Sea of Sorrow NO MORE
- The Deep Sea Dragon is somewhere

It’s good to improve the game, but little improvement we don’t see because we don’t play WvW or we’re not a classes which can use it… Can’t see the usefullness here. It’s obviously usefull, but this is just little improvement, not content.

I’m not flamming or trolling, ArenaNet did a very good job indeed, but if they don’t annouce anything like an expansion, I think I’ll go on The Elder Scrolls Online until they did it.

As I see, many guys thinks like me. Stop holding your players with LS, ArenaNet. LS is good… But only in addition of something bigger ! We need bigger content !

We need new skills, new races, new areas, new EPIC bosses (many Dragons here). I already know you will not release any new classes, but do what you said before it’s too late.

The current living story is great is pure opinion, I think its utterly rubbish and am giving the game a break for 2 weeks while I wait for the next one.

Actually I had a debate with some Norns like me. We concluded that racial skills (especially Norns ones) are not powerful enough. Then those are useless because nobody use them, it seems it’s only here for some RP.

Some racial skills are more usefull to some professions (classes), like the Charrs Battlecry for Warrior or Ranger – But I don’t know if Warrior Shout traits or Ranger Shout traits works on it… Anyway, here comes my SUUUGGESTTIONNN !

As you see it coming, I suggest that some Racial traits (disabled on sPvP because we can’t use racial skills in sPvP). I also suggest some boosts on the base racial skills.

If you look that Prayer to Dwayna, comparing to Heal as One (Ranger), HaO heals more than the Prayer PLUS it heals your pet also for 10 sec less on the cooldown ! This is the perfect example of the uselessness of racial skills.

In other hand, we have the Norn Leopard transformation ELITE which cost a lot of skill points. I dont have to compare this skill to anything because I do less damage with it than if I am on normal stance ! Then why should I use this skill ? It disadvantage me !!!

• Boost a little bit racial skills to challenge normal skills ! I must asking myself “What should I use, Signet of Rage or Wolf Form ?” Those are both ELITE SKILLS ! I should asking myself !
• Apply traits on racial skills (no balance problems on sPvP, sPvP = No racial skills), like healing shouts, shouts cooldown reduction, …
• Add some traits to boost racial skills which can’t be boosted by traits for now. This to balance races each other. Like cooldown reduction on transformation, secondary effect on prayer, … that kind of thing.
• Maybe add some racial traits (???) – I think too hard to implement for now.

Who is with me ? Don’t you agree my proposition ? ^^

But until the game will stop giving money a little bit, they will not release anything big. Cause GW2 don’t have any real challenger for now, NCSoft do what they want. Just wait other MMO to be released.

Yes, almost. Sometimes they have announced it, sometimes they did with some “maybe one day”. Sometimes they didn’t. The game was sold with many Elder Dragons, but for now, we only fought one of them.

Not too bad. Monk was in GW1 (in some ways, replaced by the Guardian), and Staffed Ranger too (we were Trap-Ranger), because staff gave us more energy to put more traps.

It’s not exclude that ArenaNet give more weapons to professions. But It means so much more balancing.

But it’s all ready exclude that we will get more classes (professions) – I saw that somewhere OFFICIAL early 2012.

IMO, releasing small content every 2 weeks is a good thing, and thanks to ArenaNet, the content is good and big enough to hold us a little bit more.

But I really want something big, something EPIC (I mean about PvE of course). If the Living World is here to make us wait for something BIG, it’s great, really. But if the Living World is here just for holding us without any expectation except more Living Story after that… I’m quite disapointed.

I’m maybe “old school”, I don’t know, but I gave to ArenaNet all my trust, and I really expect something EPIC from them. Today is starting the anniversary event. 1 year. Many games has already release some bigger contents after one year, but I don’t blame ArenaNet. I was waiting GW2 since 2008, I know that ArenaNet makes beautiful things if we let them taking their time. But I’m quite hurried to see what they are preparing !

We need a more consistent content, that’s all. Because the game itself is very good. ArenaNet will give us new races, new skills, new traits, new areas, new bosses, new elder dragons.

I just don’t like LS ‘cause I don’t have the time to explore the whole content. Hate this “temporary content”. But in other ways, it’s easier to focus on somethings reachable (or almost).

Since we know that ArenaNet will not launch any expansion for now (and maybe forever), then I suggest to add the same content as we could see in an expansion through the Living World (I think it’s the ArenaNet goal), but a permanent content !

ArenaNet:

1. We are all waiting for the others elder dragons. << Very important !
2. Also, you said that we will see new skill and new traits .
3. You also said that we will have new races, but not new classes. We are all expecting to play Tengus.
4. You added Southsun and the Zephirite (temp) area. We are waiting many new areas and not temporary areas.

Please guys, add your “BIG” and realistic suggestions/expectations for an “almost-new-expansion” patch through the Living World.

Tyrian remaining areas may be FREE added areas. Or little cheap expansions (for adding Dragons). We are talking about Cantha, a big content expansion here.

I will love to see Cantha in GW2. As Well as Elona. Some rumors says no expansion will be released. I hope it’s wrong.

EDIT : I mean ArenaNet is a passionate team which creating games for passionate guys. Making money isn’t their first preoccupation.

I’m still hoping things. I don’t know if I’m right. I really loved GW1. But I’m feared about the GW2 marketing. ArenaNet always took care of their fans, even if its not the case of every ArenaNet employee.

No, I’m talking about the 5 know Elder Dragons (Primordius, Jormag, Kralkatorrik, Zaithan, and the Deep Sea Dragon). They were not realy in trailers, but we saw some of them in GW1…

Since my last post, I read an ITW. I guess you’re maybe right Vayne, I apologize… Devs said that the main plot of GW2 will be (now “is”) the fight against Zaithan.
I’m quite disapointed.

I don’t agree. We saw all dragons in trailers. We know that there is other dragons since GW:EotN. ArenaNet always launched massive and EXCLUSIVE content as paying “expansion”, not just one or two new areas. And GW:Beyond just saw us some speculative content for Cantha and Elona.

I don’t worry about what we will do after killing all Elder Dragons. Know that it’s NCsoft which decide when and what to launch. If Guild Wars 2 stop giving them enough money, they will launch an expansion. As they said (http://massively.joystiq.com/2013/05/14/ncsoft-clarifies-stance-on-guild-wars-2-expansion/) they are on an idle stance, ready to command an expansion launch.

I hope that we will see a credible brand new content quickly … And free, because of what was sold to us (The 5 Elder Dragons and the whole Tyria).

EDIT : Guild Wars 2 was created because ArenaNet couldn’t do what they wanted with the first GW (initialy, GW2 was planned for 2009, and before GW2, ArenaNet planned to launch Guild Wars Utopia : Aborted because they couldn’t do what they wanted).

But Guild Wars 2 have the same engine (technical)!

And if I trust ArenaNet, I’m sure that If we have to pay for an expansion, it will be gigantic (like a new continent or something). But now, we have to kill 4 Dragons before that.

Please guyz, don’t say something like that. Elder Dragons were sold with the BASE GAME. As it appears in every trailer since 2008. They will not come with a paying expansion…

By definition an expansion provides a brand new content. ArenaNet said that they aren’t working on an expansion yet… If you said true, then we wouldn’t see any new dragon in 2013. Please be more hardheaded.

As you know, there were giants in Tyria, Gigantus Lupicus, they disapears somewhere around 10000 before Exode. Elder Dragons appears probably at the same time.
But Gigantus Lupicus were not big as the COLLOSSUS (look at the boss in Arah, an undead Gigantus Lupicus rised big Zaithan).
Humans don’t come from Tyria (they are extra-Tyrian, they came from the mist), and we dont have any informations about the incoming of other races except from dwarves.
The Lonely Vigil is an Elonian craft.
The collosus is a real mistery here. The Six Gods were here at the same time as Humans, and AFTER Elder Dragons (an then after Gigantus Lupicus). It can’t be a GODS creation…
