Is MMR only in ranked or is it in unranked too? I’ve played 300 games on Thief, 150 games on Warrior, and about 100 on Necro and mostly play unranked but I still get stuck with players that don’t know what they are doing and rage quit or log off right after they click on “accept” when matchmaking pops. Why the hell would you click “accept” if you’re not going to play? That really annoys me. They need a more reliable report system for leavers like that like the one in League of Legends.

I also need an invite. I have just transferred to Ehmry Bay.

OP is obviously doing something wrong. The thief profession was beautifully made. I get huge burst damage coupled with evasive skills. Don’t believe me? I can bring down a guardian / warrior / necromancer with 28k health from full to 10% or even 0% depending on the situation in a matter of 2 seconds.

Before you spam and rage at me about “spamming”, I do not do such a thing. Here is my rotation.

Cast Basilisk venom, Skale Venom then proceed to pre-cast cloak and dagger once you see a target. Before the cast finishes, use steal (With the Mug trait) and once Cloak and dagger stealths you, use Signet of Power instantly and then Backstab. I kitten you not that it will hit for at least 8k. If they are still alive at that point, you can finish them off with a few autoattacks or Heartseeker. With the proper gear, traits, and utilities.. you will be a true burster. I have a base crit rate of 49% + 7% if attacking from the sides or behind. My autoattacks crit for 2-4k damage.

Also, not to mention that we have the Shadowstep ability which is in my opinion the best escape tool in the game. Not only can you get out of stuns, you can use it twice and confuse enemies chasing you by leading them away from the starting point and then teleporting back.

I’m currently a level 63 Thief but have never been in any dungeons. However, I’m fairly experienced in PvP since I’ve spent quite a lot of time on sPvP.

What I can say about my thief is that.. I absolutely love it. The thief class is exactly what they should have always been. They are extremely delicate but deal insane amounts of pure burst damage accompanied by being an escape artist.

Their job is to stay in the sidelines and look for the weakest link before shadowstepping in and completely destroying that target in mere seconds followed by a nice escape back to the shadows to initiate the same strategy again.

I’ve had so many times where I would see some lone straggler come up to me thinking they can take me before I would move up to them using pre-casted Skale Venom, Basilisk Venom, Cloak and dagger to Steal then Signet of Power followed by a Backstab. 90% of the time, they will die instantly within 1 second. If they survive, a Heartseeker or even a couple of normal hits is enough to finish them off. You can dominate even Guardians and Warriors as if they were made of paper if done right!

Also, shadowstep is in my opinion the best escape tool I’ve come across. Not only does it teleport you twice, you can use it to play mind games and escape easily.
