Have you guys played a game called League of Legends?
LoL is a completely different genre of game. It’s not an MMO. The items you purchase exist only for that match.
The music in this game is great. Jeremy Soule is the John Williams of computer games.
The controls in GW2 are fine. If one finds that they aren’t to their liking, then they should remap them to their preference. Problem solved.
It sounds like your PC is overheating, and shutting down as a protective measure. GW2 will stress your PC much more than the above games, so a heat issue will be much more pronounced. Ensure your case has proper ventilation. Check to be sure all your fans are working, including CPU and GPU fans. Clean any dust in the case.
Tessellation Schmessellation. Let them optimize the game engine first.
For 100000000000000 time, servers show amount of accounts not people playing, if they showed people playing it wouldn’t be more then maybe 2-3 Very High servers, and that for 6-7 days after patch.
Source? Because I seriously doubt this is the case. There have likely been at least a million accounts created since release, and there are only 51 servers. That means that even if there were only 200 players online, all servers would read “Full”.
If you already have an AMD Phenom II X4 965, that’s the best CPU you can get for your motherboard (socket AM3). You can try overclocking it. As long as your case has decent cooling, this CPU is easily overclocked, even with the stock CPU fan.
Be sure you have at least 6gb of RAM too.

go read some warcraft book and then speak
pandaren arent’ in the warcraft universe
You don’t know what you’re talking about. Pandaren were in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and they were in the pen and paper Warcraft RPG books released in 2003:
Here is an illustration from the Warcraft RPG rule book:

Razer Nostromo + Razer Naga = I practically play this game like an FPS. A key to toggle mouselook would be a dream come true.
This. Razer Naga = problem solved.
If you are running a high end video card, such as a GTX 580 or 680, along with a CPU running at less than 3.2ghz, you are choking the video card. The video card is only as fast as the CPU can feed it. Plus, GW2 is very CPU dependent (as are most MMOs). Overclocking the CPU is quick and easy, and modern CPUs are designed with overclocking in mind. There are many simple overclocking guides available if you are not familiar with it. Give it a try, you just might be amazed at the results.
Underclock the CPU? LOL, that will LOWER your performance. The I5-2500K is designed for overclocking, and there is no reason to not do it. Not overclocking that CPU is wasting valuable power.
That being said, try turning off SLI if you haven’t already (run the card with one GPU) and see if that helps. MMOs are notorious for not working well with SLI.
Turn if off. Best thing to do. IMHO, the game looks better too.
The only real difference between the i5 and i7 is the hyperthreading feature. The i5 doesn’t have this. Hyperthreading basically doubles the amount of cores by creating 4 virtual cores in addition to the 4 physical ones. While this is useful for heavy multitasking, it is generally useless for gaming, and will actually cause problems with some games. I have hyperthreading disabled on my i7 to improve gaming performance and decrease heat. Unless you plan on doing very heavy multitasking, go for the i5. It has the higher default clock speed as well. And as for the 640m graphics chipset, it is designed for performance mobile gaming, and will do fine.
Edit: The above was regarding the desktop CPU versions. As the below poster pointed out, the mobile versions are different. The i5-3210M is dual core and the i7-3612QM is quad core. Good to know. In that case, definitely go for the i7 if you can.

Ahhhh. That’s explains it. I thought it was some silly new meme or internet jargon. Let me test this…
kitten, kitten, kitten, kitten.
