My girlfriend would like to play Guild Wars 2 with me, but she is unable to join my server because it is full (Fort Aspenwood). When will the server become less full so she create a player with me?
I cannot transfer to a less full server because all my WvW friends are on FA.
Try disabling your anti virus while playing. It happened to me while patching and I disabled my anti virus and the patcher is working fine. I am hoping I’ll be able to game.
What if we don’t use AV? I’m getting the same issue
in a group fight .. those heal are not very important. ele is being hit constantly 5-6 condition with 4000 per hit…. those heal doesnt last long. theif easily hit you 4000 above
You’re probably right, but it still works decently well if you play it as backline support, at least for casual unranked arenas. It also works a lot better if you partner with a guardian.

Would it be possible to implement an option to display mantra charges on top of the skill icons? My eyesight is pretty bad, so it can be a struggle for me to quickly determine how many charges I have left.
Dueling without proper controls pretty much just becomes another way of PVPers to spam PVE players who are either role playing in large cities or doing other things that don’t involve dueling. So no I hope not!
What controls? Auto-decline? Or are you talking about something else?
When will ArenaNet add a ranked solo queue? I enjoy competitive pvp, but it’s impossible to play without a team. Can we get a ranked solo queue like SMITE?
@Bellamy – Stronghold and Conquest are very different from each other though. Different enough that a significant number of people will probably want to play one or the other exclusively. LoL doesn’t randomly mix their main mode with TDM or anything else. You know what you’re queuing for.
Forcing people to play things they don’t like isn’t the right way to solve split playerbase issues.
Dueling is already available in HoTM. I don’t think there is any need to make a specialized arena for it or allow it in Open World.
As a new PvP player I wandered into Dueling arenas first and was pretty discouraged by the experience. I think that “sanctioned” dueling is more likely to hurt PvP than to help based on my experience of it.
Regular (in-world) dueling is confirmed for HotM? o_o
Regardless where you stand on this issue, the truth is that it’s going to be really low on the priority list for Arenanet. Even if they wanted to make a duelling system someday, we likely wouldn’t see it for years to come.
Doesn’t mean we can’t ask for it to be a higher priority though. It’s a popular MMO pastime, and people have been asking for it since before GW2 was released.
