Today I will go for a little twist and necromance instead of mesmerize.
I named my Character ‘Emilie Villeneuve’
I chose a french name because in popculture france and french culture is usually immediately associated with fashion and beauty, whereas Lyssa, Patron of the Mesmers, is the goddess of beauty – and deception.
Villeneuve literally translates to ‘new settlement’ and, in my characters name, is a reference to the pact, fort trinity and the new worlds that our characters discover throughout the continued story of Guild Wars 2.
Now that I’m actually writing this down, I realize how much I overthink my character names…
Not exactly the code, but rather one file which only contains the model of the strider chestpiece (at least if gw2 is coded like any other game i have ever played).
It’s a real bummer that we’re not allowed to do this anymore. There are many many cosmetic Items in the game that I would love to have with only so miniscule alterations
How do you get ascended rings from PvP? I thought those were laurel exclusive
I believe Vale Guardian should drop one piece of ascended armor or at least a bunch of crafting materials for them. He’s difficult enough to justify that.
Dungeon Runs usually award lots of bags you can open and my inventory is filled to the brim with stuff after just a single cleanup of AC. If you find yourself a decent group, dungeons should satiate your lust for loot.
I recently bought the Strider armor and I absolutely hate the bouncing kunai sheath pads on my characters thighs (which I couldn’t see in store-display due to the static model).
Since I was not able to get a clear “yes or no”-ish answer from the TSA, I’m asking here if I am allowed to modify the mesh of the armor to remove those pads, so the armor appears without them in my game.

Everyone hates the new WvW map because it just doesn’t belong into WvW, however the majority of those who dislike the desert borderlands says that it’d be an awesome PvE map.
Therefore it would be an obvious choice to re-use the desert borderlands as a PvE map in an eventually upcoming desert PvE environment.
And since it’s kind of obvious that we’re going to go to the crystal desert in a future expansion, why not implement it there? After all it would take some work from the responsible developers since it’s pretty much done. All you have to do is fill it with NPCs and renown hearts, and increase the amount of mobs present on the sections where mobs are currently present, and you’d have a near-perfect “central-tyrian outpost” map setting.
