How long to people wait to lower their mmr?
Personally I find my MMR gets skewed over the weekend. I get placed in the most ridiculous teams where I assume ANet expects me to carry.
GW2 PvP has had at least 2 major facelifts since release and a number of other changes and balances along the way. During that time they’ve had a number of different people heading this up within the PvP team. So basically different people with different ideas for their vision.
About the only thing that hasn’t really change is their overall vision of being taken serious as a serious PvP game mode.
I beg to differ.
They may not necessarily want THE quintessential representation of esports.
But a lot of their changes push in that direction to milk aspects of it. For a time soloq was in a good place, then ANet destroyed it but making soloq players fight teams.
You need teams for your esports.
yeah i think if the teams are closed in skill and the final score is 500 vs >400 the winning team should get 1 pip, but the loosing team should get -0
The way it is now is not that great if you actually played good but still lost for few points
I just had another game that finished 501 – 485, it was a loss.
I mean its just 16 points but the impact that 16 has…..
Also it promotes anti social behaviour, because that one person on your team couldn’t 1v1 or another person rotated bad. Its the difference between win/loss, 1 pip / -1 pip.
With a couple games like this in a row, ANet almost wants me to hate their system.
I mean they were both good close games but seriously just get #@$&$&.
Leagues even manages to $#@% over good games.
I just came from a 500 – 477, good game, close come back, I enjoyed it.
Then ANet decides we should have won, lose a pip.
Talk about taking a good close game and making you feel like saying ‘Go %^$# yourself’.
I always lol at these type of ‘bad ping’ posts. Just as funny the ‘’bad’ players in other timezones posts’.
If only you knew.
I still have about 12 days i need to achieve, but leagues finishes in about a week?
I think I only missed one day or two.
How are we expected to finish?

Soloq was fine and got changed cause teamq reasons. In the post your replying to he never even mentions teamq removal and in his other post he says it wont change anyway. His post is accurate.
