I know I’m gonna get flamed for posting this but I’m doing it for the health of the game.

At fractal 100 for Mai Trin, it is possible to bug the fight so that it is really easy to obtain the collection achievment (under 25min)

All you have to do is get to phase 4, where the adds spawn and Mai regains her health, and then wipe. Once the party reses, the aadds will not despawn and the timer will reset once again. Going in the fight again, you will find Mai wont go into the barrage phase transitions. So…. full timer, no barrage phases… all you do is burn her down.

We found the bug yesterday, and I felt like I needed to post here.

No, you’re making this sound like a good thing, when in reality, this is THE VERY KITTEN LEAST you needed to deliver when the expansion launched. You should’ve said that at the right time and maybe, just maybe, we wouldn’t all be in this fustercluck.

Your greed is exposed by how many people are developing the next expansion when this one is not even finished. ANet, you have disappointed us greatly, and your playerbase is on it’s limit. It is hard to see the game I’ve grown to love go down the drain because of idiotic project management decisions. It’ll be hard to quit, but hell, I’ll be kitten ed if you fool me again.

I am so very close to calling it quits on this game. One can only tolerate so much, after defending it countless times.

Today I tried to log in only to find that my account had been suspended. I am a Mexican citizen whose family lives in U.S. So naturally, I asked my dad for his credit card so I could buy HoT. After numerous failed attempts trying to buy through the ingame store, I finally gave up and decided I would buy it later when, perhaps, the store did not have a huge amount of traffic.

Before that I had purchased 4000 gems (about a week ago) with the same credit card and everything went fine, the payment went through, I received my gems and everything.

What I don’t get, is the suspension itself. Is it fraudulent that I used my dads credit card? Maybe the several attempts trying to buy HoT Ultimate made it seem so? I really have no idea. I have been playing since launch and clocked over 2k hours. This is by far my favorite game, but I don’t think I can start all over again over a stupid misconception about payments.

Yes, I’ve sent a ticket and they sent it over to the Payments Department so it could get revised, but had I known this would end up in my account getting banned, I would have never done it. sigh My thinking is that I have nothing to fear since I can pretty much provide every single piece of information they ask for, but man I would lie if I didn’t say I’m terrified.

Anyway, just venting a little, and possibly looking for other players who had similar experiences.

Yes I agree there are things to be fixed, and no I am not a fan boy. I’m just thankful I have had 2000+ hrs of fun for only 50 bucks. And to be honest I’ve tried other MMOs, and none have appealed to me as much as GW2. I’ve been spoiled by the artistic beauty.

So yeah, this is nothing but an appreciation thread, over and out o7

Wow a response after 5 posts, yet none in Megaserver or Trait threads with thousands. Maybe you forgot about us too? Is the China player base dealt the same wonderful PR?

but you see, people constantly wanting these three classes is a problem in itself..

Having many checkpoints makes it easy… Like I said before.. hard = frustrating… and practice makes perfect.. its not called an achievment for nothing..

Same here, Ive defeated her twice on my guardian without falling, and I haven’t gotten the achievment.

Now you said you cant position your character in time to set yourself up for a comfortable jump, and thats understandable because not everyone plays at the same pace. Now, I’m assuming, for example, that you do not rotate your camera with your mouse. And thats perfectly fine as well, so what to do next? You practice within YOUR PLAYSTYLE and make the jumps happen..

Its as if youre holding a console controller upside down (PC MASTER RACE!). Sure youll be able to press buttons and play at a much slower pace, but there are other ways to hold that controller and nothing is keeping you from learning the ‘right way’.

I still dont know what kind of limitations you have, and if you contact me ingame, I will be more than happy to help you out, and show you that you can actually do this with enough dedication. I apologize if you felt insulted.

Now that I have your attention, I’d like to congratulate Anet on this patch.. it was a truly immersive story.. hadnt had this much fun in a while. I hope the rest of LS2 is just a promising as this update.

Buying or NOT buying off the gem store is not about sending Anet any message. it’s about How I do not want to support what I do not enjoy.

If anet Understands that is awesome. If they decide to Look Into why the game is losing players, and makes decisions I agree with, I become a happier player, and spend More.

it’s that simple. I do Not reward with money what doesn’t entertain me.

Do you have a link showing that they’re losing players? Especially after they just brought Chinese players onboard.

Maybe theres no proof there is.. but you would have to be blind to not notice the decrease in their playerbase.. at least in NA.. (idk about EU)

Because either way, whoever doesnt want to spend gold on another set will simply switch it between characters. This is a method to bypass that and even get money out of people who would like something like this.

Refunds have been accomplished by anet before, i dont see why they cant do the same this time around..

Hello, I would like to suggest the following idea to be implemented for end game players. Now, we all know that ascended armor and all ascended trinkets are account bound and are able to move between characters within their respective armor class (e.g. warriors and guardians are able to share a set). I play between the two very regularly, as well as my ele. Anyways my suggestion is as follows:

Let us buy an in-game item which lets you duplicate an ascended piece. This would save time for those who are willing to pay a price for it. So lets say I can duplicate my ascended heavy helm, so that I can equip the duplicate and avoid having to go put them in my bank etc. I am only suggesting this for ascended pieces as they are account bound.

This could also be a good idea for other items such as the Copper Salvage-o-matic and perhaps toys as well.

I dont know, its just an idea and I’d like to hear what the community thinks about it. (And before you all call me lazy and what not, I’d rather be paying some gold to be able to do this, because putting gear into my bank everytime I want to switch characters is getting on my nerves.. and no I will not buy a second set of asc heavy armor… and yes I do fractals this much)
