Guys, the game was freezing as [] but I changed the client to full screen windowed and it doesnt freeze anymore.
I hope this help you while they fix this (ahem, sure).
I only do dungeon and world events.
In all the dungeons I have lag spikes (at Citadel of flame at 23h gmt+1 It was awfully lagged even though I tried to load a youtube video and it was smooth) and mostly I get screen freezes…ohh…the screen freezes… omg they are so frequent that is making me hate the game
The freezes for me started a bit after the uptade of the 9 of september.
IT even makes me want to come back to Aion EU! (with that robber and useless company of gameforge or lameforge how people call it)
And the desconections randomly, sometimes I think I got disconected cause I was afk for too long but when I check the message it says something about the internet conection
The only upside of that skill is that when it disappears you can respawn it again.
But the range is lame, it should have at least 2000 range (its a mortar kitten ..!) and even worse it has a minium of 600 or so.
It can’t cri hit, the 5 spread shot is awful cause is unaccurate (though is mean to be that way)
Its slow to shot with it.
It would be more useful as an elite turret like mortar or cannon turret with more vit than thumper idk…something that’s not so lame that you can hardly use it in pve and even less in pvp
The only semi-useful function I’ve found is in bwikki boss in clan bounty hunts, cause if you use the mortar you dont get the freeze debuff when it has the “Frost aura” and you can keep attacking
Also the trait “Rifled barrels” when you equip a pistol it gives 150 range instead of the 200 of the description (and I remember before the path it used to give the 200) I bet they confused somehow with the ricochet (since it gives 150 in addition)
And “deadly mixture” doesn’t increase the damage of “flame jet” but only in description, but the damage is actually increased.
But I bet they have other priorities like fixing the constant bugs like the constant freezes, crashes and disconnections.
Using these as a full set and applying a trap while using thief ( maybe on ranger too ) does successfully put you in stealth, but right after you go stealth your autoattack triggers screwing you up for a sneak attack. You dont actually get off a Sneak Attack, you just auto attack normally WHILE IN STEALTH. It needs a cancel attack feature as you go stealth as a failsafe.
Ricochet trait for thieves – Skill 1(pistol main hand) does not have range increase despite what it states in the tooltip. Multiple Tooltips for skill 1 are listed while wielding pistol (mainhand)
Engineers have a similar skill for their autoattack for a pistol but get 1500 range….????
but thieves dont get their skill 1 minimum 1050?
Actually engineers acording to the description gets 200 range to the 900 of the pistol.
Though looks like somehow the programmers got it confused with the thief one and the pistol range says 1050 range isntead of the 1100 it should have (and had before the path)

Same thing with many players from Spain.
I bet they’ll say they dont have any problems with their servers (same thing they said with the often disconections the same time I asked)
But I can run games like bioshock infinity without any problem at all

I use thumper turret + FT for might.
eles don’t get weapon swaps, engineers sacrifice utility slots for weapon swaps.
thieves don’t even need to weapon swap because they can just manage their initiative and always have all skills available.
you’re starting to realize why every thief has shortbow glued to their weapon slot.
Eles don’t need 2 set of weapons, since technically they have 4 and thanks to that they (as engineers) benefit from weapon swap sigils like battle or the traits that get booms when they swap elements/kits.
But the only reason the thief keep having the same cd as other classes on weapon swap doesn’t seen right cause we can’t gain nothing more than other classes would with their traits. Specially since the thief is a class based on the quick you can act with your initiative.
For me 5 seconds would be balanced.
Even thinking about the new neft they’ll add to the s/d.
Ok I’ve been thinking about this for some time.
All classes that can equipt 2 sets of weapons have a 10 seconds cooldown when they swap them in combat.
And that is fine because they have different cooldowns when they change it that other weapons(unless is the same type) dont share.
But the Thief is different in that way, the only actual benefit that a thief can get by swaping weapons is to use different skills (unless you use a sigil which all have an internal cd of 9 seconds or quick pockets).
Anyone think this is actually unbalanced or so?
Also what would you suggest this to be?
Probably another unnecesary nerf to the thief.
Like that next neft to their S/D built.
That and the shadow trap working as crp unlike mesmers portal or necros spectral walk.
Well you see, arena net likes to ignore this kind of stuff since they don’t care about “ocasional events (or errors)” like these.
They don’t even care about say the reason people has been having such a huge amounts of lags and disconections. (something that happened at tequatl where many people, including me, had a lag spike and I know it because they were speaking through team speaker).
I’ve been having the same issue, the game just blames my firewall or if i’m in a campus network (which i’m not) so surely they are doing something internal that keeps getting us dc and they don’t tell us because fk us.

Is really disappointing indeed, but there is something more about this trait.
You see when you use it drinking the elixir it gives the 2 stacks of might but when you throw it you get only 1 stack of might with all elixirs but the healing skill.
I’ve reported this as a bug since in the skill description you can clearly see two stacks and not one.
Is this also working as intented or just another bug?
