WOW, such faith in humanity is comforting.
Anyway I won’t be posting further on the subject except to say that I had no further issues with the rest of the salvaging and thanks ANET for caring and looking into it.

OK, not sure where you got 145, because I am sure I definitely salvaged a whole stack (250) and got c. 270 dust, then I did a few more with a standard kit and got a low yield (1.2x, but not large enough sample size). I stopped at that point and didn’t do the rest of the 2500, but I did do another stack (250) now and got a normal result. Not sure what is going on, but problem is fixed.
Experience also looks normal again, almost 26K

Also used to get about 25,000 luck a stack, now only about 12,000.

ANET, Why oh why has ecto salvage been nerfed? or is it a bug – a very expensive one since I just bought 2500 ecto. I used to get 1.77 dust per ecto with mystic kit, now 1.07

ported into maw and was hit by a normal mob ice elemental instant down. got hit by normal shadow imps for more than 100% at swamp shadow behemoth too.
the helmsman sends you to lion arch instead. been bugged for more than a month now.
I logged in today on my full ascended celestial ele with fine vit infusions to find that on Level 1-15 maps I am getting repeatedly one shotted by random mobs doing 1500+ damage. Clearly a bug. did some testing. anyone else experiencing this?
As I mentioned on a separate thread (apologies) the cumulative effect of removing transmutation and making karma and WvW armor and weapons unsalvageable is that the very expensive runes and sigils from my exotics are lost now that I have made ascended gear. They are stuck on soul bound unsalvageable exotics. It has cost me 200g plus and it is demorolising! salvage and transmutation is not just about skins you know, it is about stats and mods too!
Does anyone else think there is WAY too much bloodstone dust in the game?

To sir flames… I think you miss the point. I recognise they added something, but a high crit build is very different from a balanced build.
I just got told I created a duplicate threat. Couldn’t find any other since the search is useless. gotta agree, this forum would be a million times better with a search that actually worked. can’t be that hard to get some index logic from one of the big players. hell you could probably buy yahoo for 2c
In GW1 you could see the number of instances of a map (city) when trying to move to a another instance. Something like that would help as it would give a name to the map your guildies/mates are on.
I would buy the salvage o matic if I could upgrade its upgrade component or material quality effectiveness
I am really in favor of the idea of storing sigils on a legendary too and then being able to pick from them
yeah, perhaps a bit kitten the celestial thing, but I would have like the option, like when they removed magic find and you could pick your spec. A lot of thought goes into picking ascended armor, and effort. to be given no choice in the new spec of ascended armor hurts. maybe I would have chosen it again, but maybe I would have chosen something else. My choise, that’s the difference.

I am very disappointed that the cumulative effect of making temple, dungeon and WvW gear unsalvageable means that the runes and sigils invested in them are lost when you build you ascended armor. you say I could use upgrade extrator – at 12g per upgrade, that is the same price as the runes or more.
Ontop of that I built full celestial ascended gear for the crit chance and now that has been nerfed without even the option to pick a different spec! Just bloody great. 1000g down the tubes.
ANET, If you are going to totally change the game, please give people a means to change with it without having to start all over. It is totally demoralising!!!!!!!!!
the price of T6 dust is ridiculous and still climbing. I wanted bifrost, but 750 dust is making it prohibitive. Anet needs to fix!
One 100% agree – this is something I want badly too. What do we need to do to make this happen?
My Personal story still says gill Zhaitan. Only 2 of the 5 in our group got the update to go to fort Trinity.
My Personal Story completion has not been fixed by the 22/10 patch. Victory or Death was the active quest when I completed Arah, but I have still not received the pact token or story completion. Does anyone else still have this problem?
