i will probably sound like a crazied man here but please hear me out and try before you flame.

i being using this build in wvw all this weekend mainly in zerg fights, i noticed that from10man up to 30-40 man this build actually is viable!! need a good team compo. i know i know zerker warrior will melt in a zerg bomb fight, yes it will but if you are an average warrior and played the game for more then 6 months you will see that you can dodge all the nasty stuff.

you have 4 skills which will make you invulnerable for a few seconds, endure pain, defy pain, shield 5 and greatsword 3.

endure pain i have been using this when i bomb, so i can go in on endure pain and come out on shiel 5 or greatsword 3 skill, at the same time reflecting all those nasty ranged attacks if your using shield 5 to get out, that healing signet resistance i tend to use it before i move in. lets not forget all the moveability that sword and greatsword gives also

i wish i had recorded this weekend fights, maybe i was very lucky but i think what helped the most was the commanders i had and their positioning. i was able to push with commander just like a shout warrior, after a 100b in a crowd of people you just see those ’’doritos’’ popping up next to you and final trusts of 8k is finally something i enjoy in zerg fights, no more shout warrior for me in a while, i hate shout warrior is so boring freaking hate it after 1 year or so of playing it.

so are we going to see a spvp between Diablo Sinz vs xbutcherx? whats the point of talking the talk if you dont walk the walk? it will be a healthy match, after words you guys might be great palls! (real life experience here) so go for it record it and place it here! put your money where your mouth is.

i m so happy for the patch! so much new ideas and possibilities. warrior is very strong in my opinion at the moment, not tired yet of fighting engi’s who for some strange reason thinks they can take a full 100b to the face so they can complete their combo. looking at you deso and gandara players.

ps: i m no expert and i m not here flap my wings, my win rate is probably 40%!!! so

now on a straight note:

its just the way it goes, maybe its the build (traits) you have or like you sad yourself game is getting harder at that lvl, i mean a lvl 2 warrior kicks kitten and the closer you get to lvl 80 it gets less modifiers because of your lvl

Love your build . The one thing I cant get used to is the focus, so I been going d/d, less might stacks but great chaise capability, unless im doing something wrong!! I been using this to roam in wvw. Have you any wvw roaming/small group fight builds?

i went full knights armor and zerker trinkets but it didnt really help alot, must try the full zerker 0_0

I been running this build ever since I got to lvl 80. Let me say it kicks assand I love it. Now with the patch it still kicks butt, but I would like to know if or what changes would you do….. I was also wondering if I could go full power with this build.

Ele my 5th class to reach 80. I have to say im struggling. . . . I see that diamond skin build that guy is good I will never be like him.

I wanna work to get something out of it but at moment is tough and celestial is going to sux well

dont listen to the hatters, every one has the same chance as you to gather the same items as you and alot of ppl in that video had legendaries.

yeah there might had been a few alt+tabbed over there but that is not the point, look at the combos and how well they work together! i m gob smacked here with the video, i have learned alot in that video, 4 weeks ago i made an ele and have being working really hard to gear it up but its not about the gear it seems its all about the combos……

will be trying this build ago, think it will be just as good after the BIG patch? also do you twitch? have you got a proper link for your build any where?

PS: think you could run into a zerg with this? go in and come out the other side? or even on a sniper team

Can we not add some zealots gear to the meta? With knights and 1-2 pvt trinkets?
Is there a way of doing imitating celestial but using one of each type of gear? Maybe not literally but you know having knights, zealots, carrion set up? Would it be enough? 2 weapons, 6 bits of armor, 6 trinkets/rings/etc.

The death from above., it goes off with any falling dmg? My next question is, can I jump from a tower wall and trigger death from above? I m not logged on so would had checked. Also how many people does it affect?

so does it heal you for the same amount they hit you for?

I use the same build minus the axe, there is another post in this forum which ppl are talking about the same thing, one build there seems real good, its more of a dps zerg warrior build seems pretty good.

I been using 10 -0-30-30-0 but then I like to shout heal and cleanse, it is more a team build. Jareks def a “zerg dps” build which is very important for zerg, after all you need to deal dmg in a zerg or you might as well be a punch bag zerg which will eventually die if you cant kill no one.

i wanted to resurrect this post, i m still using it, i spent alot of gold the other day to try out the PU mesmer build that all are using, to start with i thought it was great( probably just luck) but then it all went down hill, so i came back to this build and was thinking if any one still rocking this build out there? i have to say i love it you have the numbers and the cond dmg and its fairly good at surviving, the only thing i was thinking about was to change the sigil that gives you stacks for something else like refill endurance when ya swoop ye weapon or i dont know.

Well i m coming back to GW2 after a while and was wondering what are Commanders running on WvW, i m still on the old staff/hammer 0 – 0 – 30- 30-10, anything new or diff?

I suppose I dont ’’need’’ it because I never had it so I dont miss it. I will try it with centaurs rune if you guys are right then it will make my life easir. I play in piken square, only play wvw, I have thief, warrior for roaming and the guardian to command. I just love love the 1vx or 2vx scene. Im not saying im an expert! But I know basics.

How about thiefs rune? Im slowly finding the centaur s rune more atractive. I m really gonna have to get lvl 80 and try them out since they are all reasonable cheap. Thank you for your patience.

Is there any other rune you would use? I find my self not really needing the swiftness in fights.

Finally im close to 80 (75) and been running the build from the start, have got some trinkets ready to go from laurels. Now is this build gonna be any good after the big patch? I have to say really enjoying it.

All – what is wrong with the original build on this thread? I’m new to mesmer but more and more im thinking that I should have hybrid stats, power top heavy but still have a nice condition punch.

Any one know if those armours from karma/temples are any good? Or are they a pve only set? I dont do pve. I only do wvw

by the way the only reason i use the transformation spell is because if i dont i get one shooted!

Im lvling a mesmer at the moment and im following this build (only play wvw) and even at low lvl it kicks kitten to unaware players, specifically zerker thiefs, I start with transforming the champ in to a chicken then get all the cds off cd on the 2hander and weapon swap and unload the rest. They either start running or start trying to act very scared, you can tell when they notice im upleveled because they turn back and chace. I can run away ok but you know this is wvw crowd. I can really see the benefits of this build even at low lvls.

The one thing is the armor runes I dont get it. There must be a better set. But im new to mesmer so what do I know.

Xerkule a very good commander, i m sure he is as excited as me. this last week we had a troll putting up trebs/golems/ catas on gates, just being a total bugger. hopefully he wont be trolling again this week.

Me and my guild ( 100+) just moved out of desolation to piken square in eu. The reason was that desolation got lost some where in the world of pve. So we decided to choose another home. We didnt want to move to viz or sfr because they were the top ones. We wanted to get some work to reach or beat one of those servers. 4 weeks, in our new server we are now predicted to be rank 2 eu. Sfr and viz got numbers mean while we have passion and time in our hands to spend playing ^^. Was wondering what is it like to play in a server like yours.

Watch out with Piken square, we are predicted to be number 2……

I dont know about the dire stats, the sword and war horn I use to start a fight then maybe in the mid of a fight to get extra stamina for my dodges and at the end of a fight to catch up and kill with number 3 but it all depends how the fight is going. This build is noob proof really very easy no tricks tanky as hell and plenty of power.

Just try this build. Its easiest build to run in wvw it works great in zergs, groups of 5 and you can go solo roaming and you can deal with most classes on your own. I love the build I have over 3k attack and over 3k armor 28k health. Just give it ago its cheap as well.

If you try it or any one else let us know what you think. I been running it now for a few weeks and It just gets better as you get used to the motions of what to do. I have no problems in jumping in on a 3v1 fight and come out victorious some of the time or if not take 1 or 2 with me. Of course its wvw enemies in spvp its a dif story I have not tried it and I dont think it should be tried.

Thats because DVG from desolation moved into piken…..

Dvg was not the best but the biggest and one of the most friendly guilds in desolation. Its understanding when some people flame that only means that they are upset with the blow and the only thing to make the pain stop is to tell ye self that DVG were no good and that we were really kitten against doors.

We are a guild! We support each other! When ever I logged in and seen a Boarder land unclaimed I’d shout in guild chat for DVG bodies to come over and support me, so we could put pressure on another map. The response was incredible always with out hesitation. You say we killed doors I say we captured points! You say we blobbed I say we played the game to what resorts we have. Im sure SFR/VIZ dont care if they are bigger then the opposition. AIN’T WAR HELL

I’m a Desolation born and bread, one of the firsts to be in here and after a while i left the game and while after I came back to play world versus world. I had no friends I knew no body and of course I got picked up on the DVG wagon of love and straight away in no time I made my rank up in with DVG and made some incredible friends.

Desolation has still got great guilds, all that deso lost is numbers and a awesome night crew which I have to say and repeat awesome night crew. Im sorry deso for leaving, yes we are not a total bunch of a certain womens private. We have a heart as you can tell by earlier posts with the singing and bunter that some people disliked so much. All we tried was to make this a more fun experience for all so we could attract more people for world versus world, deso is a pve server I’m afraid, when ever you do a call to arms in lions arch all you got was flame and grieve. In my eyes times have changed and if I don’t change with it, I will stop playing and I don’t want to.
