Moto is male with a female name.
I believe the name is a reference to Shigeru Miyamoto, as he controls the box that enters you in to the retro 8-bit themed jumping puzzle.
Going to have to agree that having any repeatable achievements at all, including dailies/monthlies makes this pretty pointless.
And this is coming from someone who has played since launch and has almost every monthly/daily. Removing the other repeatables is a step forward though.
Finally managed to get my stats where I want them. The goal was to reach at least 3k attack, 3k defense, 17k HP, 30+ crit chance and as much crit damage as I could after that.
Pic is unbuffed and in overflow.
Sigil of Superior Accuracy on weapons.
I just met this adorable little fella while running P2 in CoF as well. Had to look him up because I was curious if anyone else had seen him.
I was running the lava field solo on my thief and instead of Magg appearing at the magmacite, I got this guy. Couldn’t get enough of him for the rest of the dungeon! (He helped me hold onto Gaheron at the boss fight)
Kind of want a Dozer mini now.
When you first rescue Demmi Beetlestone while disguised as pirates, the first thing she says when she sees you is “Aren’t you a little sober to be a pirate?”
Made me laugh as it is a reference to Star Wars: A New Hope when Luke and Han rescue Leia, “Aren’t you a little short to be a Storm Trooper?”
They are the Norn Tier 3 Cultural pants.
Just messed around with it a bit.. for the trim, the closest goldish yellow tint I could find was Frosting (kind of that dull colour) and for the main armor bit Brandywine for the purple. Brandywine isn’t too bad on the gems either if you want that for purple.
I think the only issue with some of the deaths is that there was no real chance to get to know the characters so the death had no impact. I really didn’t get to connect with Tonn at all so when he died I really didn’t care. Same with the norn lady when you go into Kitan’s Manse.
However, with characters like Tegwen, or the holographic announcer asura girls romantic interest (I forget names), I was actually pained to see them lost.
I believe you have to blow the door to the asura gates using one of the bombs in the cart to the left of it. Does it let you do this?
I’ve always been a fan of Crispin Freeman, and he seems to do just about every male norn and human npc. I think he deserved a bigger role though!
Current guild favourites that we have heard a billion times over and have become inside jokes:
“You know, your failure is only funny if you try.” – Boss just outside of CoE
“Your weakness makes me laugh!” – Norn boss in winter fractal
Also:
+5 crit sigils (not sure if that shows up yet in window)
0 condition damage
39 critical damage
1211 defense
300 healing power
Seconding this, just put this on my weapon and critical chance has not changed at all.
I think you are all forgetting that it gives you a nice chunk of exp. Crafting while levelling is an incredible boost for exp and I found it nice that my Engineer has full armor sets with my preferred stat layout for the next 30 levels.
As a get rich quick scheme, crafting is not viable. I think the intention in this game is for additional progression while levelling, and at 80/400 you can make your own first set of exotics yourself. It’s worked lovely for me in that regard, as I made my first exotic set through crafting.
Going to have to say that Guardian has the best underwater skills, both weapons are fantastic with their movepool (spear 2 is absolutely awesome). Only rivaled by the incredible grenade kit for Engies.
Anyone know how to get that big chunk of cave looking area in Harathi Hinterlands? It’s right above High Timber Claim, been hugging the wall for a while now.
I feel like I’m the only person missing spots in Kryta, missing 2. Guess I’ve got to keep scouring that map.
(Reposting from suggestions as this is probably the right location for this)
I’m not sure if this effects all utilities like this, but this has been very noticeable on my Guardian.
There are some Utility skills that for the most part only buff the player, for example, Guardian has the move ‘Retreat’ which grants swiftness and aegis to nearby players.
I am finding that this move and some other utilities are forcing me into auto attack on any poor mob that happens to be anywhere on screen. When holding a ranged weapon, this is especially a nuisance. It does not even require any mob to be targeted either, it will automatically choose one and make it my target anyways when I use the skill.
My suggestion is, if possible, to remove this effect. Especially when using retreat, this seems to defeat the purpose of the skill as I will be wanting to escape from mobs and hitting this forces me into attacking them, thus my run speed is cut in half and the swiftness grants no bonus whatsoever.
Just a thought!
This probably does belong in bugs… my bad. Will repost there. This can be closed!
I believe the concept of the hearts was just to guide the player through the zone, not to be a constant source of experience/income which the Dynamic Events were intended for. Personally, I can’t stand the hearts as it feels too much like the old style questing and I’m happy to be done with them, but I can understand people wanting that bit more content to repeat.
