actually you are wrong on that account. Forum base RPs are not really Strict on post length and they give you plenty of time to respond and in fact they encourage that you take your time with your response and not rush it. Trust me I have done forum Roleplaying a lot and Its always been that way. We go from Semi Lit to Advance Lit. Depending on who made the thread and started it. Advance lit requires you to have 4 paragraphs and good grammar. Semi Lit requires less and your grammar can have mistakes in it. The good thing about forum Rp is that you can do a lot more.. Than you can do In game. You can add details and other small things. you can not do that in game.

No the problem with Roleplaying in this game is the fact that Roleplaying is even happening in the game. Until Anet supports the community like blizzard does.. I believe Role playing should not even be allowed in the game util they get their own chat channel Etc.. As most of the time its not really Role playing at all.

the mega servers did not help matters when you get lumped into a Shard that is filled with Role players that spam up your chat etc. Yes i could just turn it off. But that is not fair as sometimes emotes are non Rp and are ways to greet others.. Why did they have to merge TC with the other servers.. why could they not just leave that server separated from the others so Non Rpers do not have to pray they do not get lumped into rp infested area of DR ?

Or better yet..Why not give RPers their own chat channel they only know ?. That way they can use that to RP and stop spamming Emote ?. Sorry this might sound more harsh than it is meant too. its late but this is how i currently feel at the moment.

Had this happen to someone trying to join a guild I was in, It seems that if its your 5th guild that you are joining the chat bug happens. They had to leave a guild they were in forever to be able to talk to a new guild they have joined..

So it seems the 5th guild you are invited too causes the bug to happen. The solution was to leave one of the 4 other guilds and get re invited and that seems to fix it

I have been playing guild wars 2 on and off since launch. Sometimes I play for months at a time and sometime only weeks. Each time I leave and come back and I am not sure why besides that i get burned out for some reason. I am also thinking maybe i am looking at guild wars 2 the wrong way. But I am not really sure . I know about the living story session 2 since I have played some episodes. I only been away this time for 2 months or so

I am also thinking that it could be that I am looking at guild wars 2 in the wrong terms that would normally go with MMos ( Progression Etc ) and There is more to do in guild wars 2 that meets the eye. So I have some questions for you all that hopefully will help me

Question 1- What is there to do in guild wars 2 when you have 2 level 80s..one has exotic gear and the other is working on it. am I going about it all wrong and thinking that at level 80 that I am done with the game ?. Besides going for Achievements is their anything else I can do ?. ( Besides map Comp and making a legendary )

Question 2 – How does Crafting work and it seems very confusing and I been playing on and off since launch. Any tips about how to make it a little easier ?. I have yet to get into Crafting and I want too so any tips would be nice !

Question 3- Any Good ways of making Gold. Before mega servers I transfer off my favorite server and went to Tarnish Coast because they had a bigger pve community. And Now with Mega servers that does not matter anymore and I want to come back to my favorite server . Only problem is I need a lot of gems to do it. So any good ways of making gold so that I can come back to my server home ?

Question 4 – Is their any challenging content that maybe I have missed ?. Maybe a world boss that is done less often then the others ?. Maybe a challenge that people do ? ( like making a specific class and playing it a certain way ? )

So yeah thank you for your time !. hopefully once I know their are many other things to do in the game. I wont be easy to get burned out and I can enjoy myself a lot more.

1. Narrowing dailies to be overly specific and complete removal of monthlies ( I miss my Monthly’s It gave me a goal to do for the month Wish they kept them

2 Having No content for when you reach level 80. When I reached level 80.. I felt like I have nothing else to do at all. I suppose you have fractals.. But that only lasts so long..

3 – Making Ac story Dungeon a Joke. Ran it with a friend and her son. It was so easy that it was not even a challenge ( granted we are level 80 but still are down leveled when you do it as level 80). But I remember it used to be a challenge when it first came out.. What happened. I remember getting owned by the first boss when Ac first came out.. now its too easy in story mode ( And being downlevelto the story mode level it was still too easy )

4 – No new dungeons added in three years. At all.. Like one new path for TA. But nothing else added ?. In three years we got no new dungeons.. What are you suppose to do when you have done everything ?. I kinda like having new dungeons to do so why have we not gotten no new dungeons ?.. fractals do not count

I was thinking of returning to the game ( have been on a break ). But after seeing this bug is still around.. I think i will wait until this is fixed since my primary means for commutation is guild chat. And if that is bugged than it effects my game play a lot

I hope to see this bug fixed Soon before the expansion launches . Although i am curious does it effect everyone or is it random ?. Like does it happen 100 percent of the time or no ?

Yep I got two dcs tonight on top of the two i got the other day all of the sudden with a sudden lag increase. never had this problem before and now i am. Wondering what is up.

I keep getting those messages now too. I am trying to guest to another server and it just disconnects me . This is a second day that I had the same problem the Op has mention. With me Just randomly losing connection to the game server. It is random as well when it happens.

I got in tonight also. Just wondering about something.

Is the LFG tool only for your server or does it connect to all the servers in NA or EU ?. So that I could party up with someone from say Tc and someone from Sor ?

So now you are crying about a boss that is too hard to " Farm Now " Well I for one is glad that all the bosses are harder and that you have to defeat them in 15 mins. It gets rid of the massive lets just Afk damage bosses and get credit and makes people think and work together as a team

The Event Started on Tarnish Coast and they dropped the new build and from what im reading it was the build they mentioned 7 hours ago ( could be wrong ) and now we wait and wait. Guild had to Cancel Gvg or delay it because Wvw was down because of new build. But the main sticking point is.

Because of new build the invasons stopped and they just started.. Good fight A net. This was one of your dumbest moves.. And i normally do not complain

Your a child trying to play with the big kids. If you have something up your sleeve then just say it. Do not make Rymes or say your playing games. As that is what kids do. If you want to Remove the Queen from Power than do it bluntly as that marks you as more than a child. The Queen already knows the Nobles like myself do not want her in power. " Since we know the Queen is more likely going to take action against the Pirates and we can assume that she is going to lock down the city in order to protect its citizens from a attack by the pirates as if they are at the Gauntlet they will be in the city

We can also assume the Minster has something to do with it and the Queen might go and arrest him thus setting up a war inside the Kingdom. But lets see what happens lol.

@ Op – You are just mad that you could not kill any of the boss in the Queens Pavilion and thus you hate the update. Trust me not many people can kill those bosses. But that is the nature of the game. You cant be great at everything.. You have to learn to get up and try try again. But I could be wrong but I love this update.. This is a great update as its fun to do. I do not see why you could hate the update. Yeah its temp and that is a bad thing. But it comes back like the rest and that is a good thing.

I personally love this update. its Fun.. My guild loves this update… And many other guilds love it also. This is by far one of the best updates/ Patches we got

Same here.. Not sure why it does it after you already did it when you first logged in. But yeah very annoying and hoping for a fix

My problem was the following Every time i walk I see Blue Squares and even when I stand still sometimes I still see blue Squares and I have updated Graphics card and I have played with the settings in the game and still I see them. So yeah its pretty much all the time I see them and I have had this problem since launch and I thought maybe it was because the game was new but i am still having the same problem

The Solution was to update Windows 7 and also to update my drivers, I updated my Windows 7 and then updated my drivers which scared me but that is a long story. Anyway long story short this is the result now.

I want to thank The support team for getting to my issue Quickly. For the Longest time I would see blue Squares whenever I walked and it was getting annoying. Today I submitted a ticket and it was quickly answered like withen a Hour or two. Not only did they tell me what my problem was. But how to fixed it. So I did what they asked of me and now I can say that the blue Squares are no longer and I can see the game like it was meant to be seen. So I want to thank The Support team from the bottom of my heart for all the help they gave me. And That now my problem is solved

guild wars 2 is not fun

Now lets me honest about this. The first few months it was really fun and then everything just slowed down and became a grind. A game is suppose to make you come back to it and be like. I want to play this game every day. But guild wars 2 does not do that. For me personally I log on to the game to do guild events, But that is it really. I come back after a big patch and then leave again because their is simply nothing for me to do. Yes I could make alts but why would i ?. I am not really a alt person. Yes I could do Achievements.. But again what is the point ?. I could do world vs world or Spvp. Well yeah but I am not a pvp person and wvw in the early mornings is not really that fun.

3 – Dynamic events are not Dynamic.

I assumed and figured that dynamic events would well be Dynamic and its not the case. I do not go to a zone and see that a city has been taken over and I have to free it. No I see everyone inside of the city dead and one Npc inside of it that I have to kill. I thought and maybe I am wrong about this. But I remember hearing that one day you will go and see a zone is fine and the next the zone is getting attacked and you might have to free the city as this spur on another sort of events. I saw it in beta and yet in the live game it does not happen ?. To be honest Rift did the zone invasons right. walking into a zone and getting attacked and you having the free that zone was really fun. Guild wars 2 does not in my opinon have anything like that and its sad because that would make things really fun.

Not only is their no new Content in the game. But their is nothing to do at level 80. What about those people that do not like Achievements or Fractals or World vs world or spvp. The people that at level 80 cant do anything ?. Because I am one of them and to be honest I am really borde at level 80 because their is nothing for me to do

Do not worry, It was intended to be played like that. I had the same worry and It turns out it was Anets doing either for Aprils fools day which many believe it was for that very reason. But yeah do not worry that is suppose to be like that.

Had the same problem, I was in middle of a battle and all of the sudden I get a crash back to my Char screen. Last night same thing happened to a few of my guild mates. They got random crash s also.

Glad I am not the only one having this problem.
