So i got my first piece of the mistward armor today (the legs) while playing on my necro and the little bouncing chest in the corner popped up on my screen. Im like “oh cool, ill give these to my revenant later” and accept them….big mistake.

Now i have these exotic level heavy armor legs that i get to choose the stats for..soulbound…to my necro.

Why the hell are these soulbound and is there any plan to change them to account bound, soulbound on use?

I really hope this is a bug that will get fixed as i do not want to waste them. I get it, they are only exotics, but still this should not have happened in the first place.

So I am trying to get some screenshots of my new rev and she keeps turning her head and torso away from the camera. my main doesnt seem to do this but i cant find an option to check/uncheck to stop her from moving.

am i missing something?

Hi guys, I have been thinking about these ideas for a LONG time and never really got around to logging in and saying anything so here goes, “deep breath”

Suggestion 1: Back in GW1 you were able to save your build and even share it with others, I feel that something similar would be a great thing. Allow players to save a setup (traits and skills) so that they can quickly switch between multiple builds when out of combat.

To go along with this would be the ability to save Armor/Weapon/Trinket setups. I dont know about you guys but I run with a few armor sets for different situations. It would be nice to be able to say "press __ button to load my Berserker armor/weapons/trinkets, or my bunker set, etc.

Suggestion 2: With Ascended equipment getting a buff with the ability to switch out stats using the forge I feel it is time to give the Legendary gear a buff as well, especially since new stuff is coming soon.

My idea is a Legendary library per Legendary item. What this means is that every time you install a sigil on a legendary it goes into that legendary’s library and can be switched to whenever out of combat just like the stats.

I mean the legendary already has a Stat Library so why not a Sigil Library. This would not be given to anything other than a legendary so as not to crash the market for sigils.

Suggestion 3: Pet Health bars by skill picture. Example that made me think of this is the Necro Blood Fiend that gives healing upon sacrifice but nothing if it is killed. It would be nice to glance down at the skill 6 icon and see if the minion is getting close to being killed so i can sacrifice and get the health instead of losing out.

This could easily be extended to rangers needing to know when to switch out their pet (although i think they already get a health bar)

The point is that during a crowded fight sometimes it is really hard to notice where your pet/summon/minion is and how it is doing. This would allow the player to monitor the pet more and better able to pop a heal, pop the second ability, or whatever.

Not sure how much of a pain it would be but these things would all be rather cool if introduced into the game.

I don’t typically use the forum but I feel it is time that I add my voice to this. I have been watching a trend in the recent events that I really think is not productive to drawing in the players.

That trend is lack of loot.

What is the point of doing an event (especially this one) when the only reward is something that you get at the end of the entire subevent (10 blossoms typically)?

What happened to champs dropping bags?

Why do I carry around Magic Find food if there is nothing to use it on?

Everyone always talks about the Halloween event because it is a great place to farm for loot. The reason this event is becoming so popular is because all the other events suck in comparison.

ANET you need to bring the loot tables back into your events if you want people to actually be happy about grinding the event for the rewards.

I for one know that I have little to no motivation to do this current event as I dont really care too much about minis and the skins arent that cool. If there was loot that dropped I would be much happier about doing the events since there was a chance my high magic find and foods could net me an exotic or something that made it worth my time.

People will continue to do the event because we have been so starved for new content that we will take anything at this point but Anet your players should NOT feel this way and should be happy about playing an event, not bitter that the effort/reward ratio is crap.

Southsun Bikini Please

So my guild runs a daily teq and it has become custom for those operating the Northern turrets to do so without a chest or leg armor on (long story). So I am asking the devs to finally release the Southsun Bikini so we can go one step further when showing off during the Teq fight.

I mean come on, how cool would it look for a bunch of bikini clad chicks operating large turrets trying to kill a HUGE F-ING DRAGON and not even breaking a sweat?

Please release the Southsun Bikini, PLEASE

so today i was helping defend a camp as it was being upgraded and we were getting harassed really bad by a mesmer. couldnt lock her down and she would just cloak and run when her clones ran out. Anyone got any tips to fight a mesmer?

Can still be used for jump puzzles to avoid missing a jump. Biggest help imo.

normal swing arc effects are light based (no mass) where as the mercury has mass and would not fly as far due to gravity. use this to rationalize it in your brain.

Maybe it just doesnt work for exotics, i just tested it with rares (1 weapon, 3 armor) and got an earring back.

i was able to about a month ago. even when you look at the wiki about precursors it mentions that of the four items you throw in the MF at least one has to be a weapon to get a chance of a weapon coming back out. That and I have read other posts about people trying different combos. Four items of exact same type produce that type (4 staves produce a staff), Four category produce same category (4 weapons produce a weapon), and Four rarity produce same or better rarity (4 rares produce a rare or exotic). Previously if you did just four items say 3 armor and a weapon you would produce either an armor piece or a weapon.

Recently it has been changed to not allow the last example. I just cant find the patch notes to prove it, but i know it happened.

Ok it has been a week or two since I have used the Mystic Forge to do a Precursor attempt. I just save up 4 exotics and then toss them in.

When did they change that you have to use four of the same type of exotic (weapons with weapons, armor with armor, etc.) I know you used to be able to mix them up for a completely random chance but I cant find a patch note that says when it was changed. A link to the info would be wonderful
