@ Revanssi , from what I have been reading it seems that the jewel side of things is mostly based on what you are lacking in crit chance and crit dmg. From what I can tell, you need roughly 45% chance and 50% crit dmg, this is after you have your knights set on + zerker hammer.

What I would like to know is which are the runes / sigil ?
good healing amount ?
what skill slots are used most and why would you use them?

I check builds on the ghosts at the mists training ground unfortunately we cant really customize the jewels there -.-. I would like to know peoples survival rate and how they would take on at least 4 of the ghosts caster/melee (not the lord you can if you want).

I would love to see video footage also from Brutaly just to see how he fights in different areas pve/spvp/wvw.

thanks for a good thread im currently 55 been using hammer since lvl10ish, at low levels its quite hard to use but the more you progress and gain traits the more I like.

Dude.. Necro has no burst dmg… and nothing spectacular about ur build.
By the time you get into melee range AS you open with dagger and golem.. You’ll be dead in PVP/PVE when the target is actually ATTACKING you!..
I’m a dagger/dagger.. I use the ignorant golem also (who likes standing there looking pretty and doing nothing). I also use wells and vampiric traits BUT I open with 3-4 blasts in DS MOVING towards target while I gain might per life blast and also weaken the target, I may use ability 2 in DS for a chill/gap closer..
Now if you stack presc and crit dmg and power you can get some decent crits within those 3-4 hits + might 3-4 + ur “invulnerable” when you MANUALLY pop out of DS lay down blinds(well’s if you have 2-3mobs dagger skill 1-2mobs) And also the trait to chill when you blind granting you even LESS dmg on you! (0 actually). Pop back in DS IF your might has depleted rinse and repeat.

Is this a bug : When using life siphon (dagger 2 skill) in main hand and hitting the 0 so your golem charges it breaks the siphon… bug or not bug? Imo as the necro is not casting a spell/action it should not break the siphon ..

Many times the golem does sod all in fights if you start the fight with DS. Try hitting button 1 while just out of range of a mob and running toward it so your in range by the time the cast bar is 100%. Your attack hits, now the mob is attacking you and the golem is just standing there looking pretty. You come out of DS the golem is still doing nothing for the whole fight, you may be lucky while moving around the gloem may decide to attack.

Golems charge some minor mountain/step (not needing a jump) will cause the Golem to stop the charge not getting to the enemy.

Golems charge also fails when. you notice you have just gotten into range (your not seeing a red line under the charge ability thus this means you are in range for the attack) .. Click.. GLoem stops 1ft away the attack does not connect.

DS, we have number 2 attack (we “TP” to target causing chill) sometimes as like mentioned above something minor in terrain NOT a tree or bush nothing that needs to be jumped over will cause this attack to not connect.

NOTHING! boosts up the health steal on hit or on crit it does not scale with healing gear.

DS talents from our talent lines do not work under water, piercing hit does no weaken effect.

I am sick of being pushed into water and having my golem de-summon + cooldown!

Staff does not use vampiric unlike the dagger and scepter in main hand

Vampiric traits do not scale with healing or anything.

where is my 5% of power to healing? this does no effect what so ever! nor can you see this in your hero section listing armor/hp/tough etc etc .. healing is not effected (unless im blind).

unfortunately the rest of my complaints are not bugs just useless pitiful traits the necro has in comparison with other class’s. Necro’s should have the traits revised and re built imo

yeah kinda does, at least +healing as you say does effect it but we need to stack a ton of it -.- which sounds quite crap, actually it makes that whole line in the trait line pointless!

would like to see how much +healing is needed for every 1hp lol

Hey all,

Currently lvl60 necro, I would like to know which stat would increase the health gain on vampiric trait (siphon health when you hit a foe), Vampiric rituals (siphon health every pulse). So far I have tried the obvious +Healing I had swapped out a chest piece with +50 healing and no difference what so ever not even 1 extra hp.

Is by any chance vampiric traits a set amount of HP ? and can not be raised?

Also I noticed using staff vampiric does not work!! but with a scepter it does (our two ranged weapons)

If you need more details please ask.
