Hi everyone! I’d like to post here to allow the chance for those looking.
The Fallen Stars [STAR] is a LGBT friendly guild on Crystal Desert looking for more members. We’re at about 120 members, we have 15-20 active a night. We are often running dungeons, doing guild events, and teaming up for map completion. We don’t have a strong WvW or sPvP base but do like to team up for monthlys.

First I will say, yes, Arah is not an easy dungeon. As the guy above me has said, others ar easier, but of course he didn’t get the point – you need 500 tokens from arah for your legendary.
With that said, what you really need is this: a static group. Find yourself four other players, your best bet is to go warrior/guardian heavy with a thief for cloaking. I would say next best is, of course, having a mesmer in the group for time warp and portal drop etc.
The good thing? You can get your tokens in eight successful runs. The bad thing, if you pug it you’ll end up spending hours frustrated and grumpy.
Also good to have a voice server to talk on so you can communicate in fights.

I totally agree with this. I really enjoy the current guild set up, and with everything I always feel there is room for improvement. I’d like to see Alliance chat, improvements on guild banking, improvements on guild maintenance in general as well. Many of my guild members are in other guilds, we call each other Sister Guilds, combined about 250 members, it’d be great to have an alliance chat to speak to them about impromptu dungeon runs etc.,/
Made a post here couple days ago, so to add to this:
A) Please make it so that items in the guild bank auto-stack. It’s terribly time consuming taking things out of guild bank, putting them in personal inventory, combining like mats, then putting stacks back in the guild bank. It would be an easy fix just to have a cog wheel like our personal inventory has, that will automatically combine, or even enabling click and drag directly onto the item in guild bank would be great.
B) There is an issue with guild leadership. (Please reference this) In Lord of the Rings Online, kinships (same as a guild) had a safety measure to make sure kins didn’t end up without leadership from people losing interest or unable to continue playing the game. It worked like so
In LOTRO, if a guild leader goes inactive for an extended period, he gets demoted by the system automatically, and then one of few things can happen:-
if the guild leader has appointed a successor before going MIA, that successor gets promoted to leader, else
if there is no successor, then the officers get a grace period with option to usurp, else
if there are no officers or if none of the officers usurps at the end of that grace period, then all regular members get a grace period with option to usurp, else
if there is no one at all to take up leadership at the end of all those grace periods, the guild disbands. (taken from reddit)
C) Implementing a way to check for inactivity among guild members. Reference

I’d like to take the time and first say: Wow, this game is AMAZING! Thank You to the ANet team and to the players, you are all awesome!
Now I’d like to discuss possibly one of my favorite things about any MMO. That’s guilds. In other games they are linkshells or kinships, almost all of us are a part of one, and generally speaking, we all enjoy the social dynamic a guild chat brings to our gaming life.
This thread can be for all guild suggestions. What do you like, what don’t you like, what would you like to see in the near future, etc,.
