OK, what I found is I had my gw2 folder in my program files x86 folder and not the regular program files. I moved the folder to the regular program files and deleted any desktop icon i had. I made a new shortcut icon for my desktop from the 64bit client and right clicked it and went to the icon properties and made sure it was launching under “run as administrator.” From there, I launched the launcher and reapplied my password and clicked play and it made my screen blink a few times, then it finally went to the character selection screen. It seemed to load into the game fine after that. Could it have been the file relocation?…maybe. Hope this helps with somebody with similar problems.
The 32 and 64 bit clients will not launch. I’ve updated and repaired the launcher, and when I click “play” the screen blinks a few times then error crashes. Please fix this and send another patch for it ASAP.
This is so unacceptable…It’s so misleading to have this interesting thing featured at THE TOP OF THE PATCH NOTES and its not even applied to the actual game.
On the recent patch notes it says, “Choose between two extra antialiasing options: SMAA Low and SMAA High.” When I go to my graphics options (at the character select screen) IT’S NOT THERE. The only antialiasing option that’s STILL offered is FXAA. Where are the other two options located?
I personally like my armor combined together from other armor to design my own look. In my opinion, to sell outfits in a “one size fits all” approach feels generic and like a money grab.
I’m having the same problem with not being able to select my Logitech G930’s in my Audio Device option. All I have is “Default Device.” Please fix this Anet. Thank you.
OK. gotcha. Thanks.
I was under the impression that the game would recognise your dyes on your account and give you dyes you do not have. Over the past few days I’ve noticed that I’m losing more dyes than I originally started with. With any refund I’ve gotten, the majority have been dyes that I already have and have to sell away. So I’ve lost an amount of dyes that I’ve orginally had. I’ve got a feeling there’s a bug here. From what’s been told, I should have the amount of dyes I accumulated from all characters and THE GAME would recignise the dyes I already have and give me new ones. Please look into this and please fix this, thank you.
Ok, I checked my bank this morning and moved over the dyes back to my bag. I right clicked, and it now allows me to sell them on the TP. Thanks for the help.
The dyes I opened in my bag will not let me sell them. I had to dump them in my bank to make room. Anyone have any ideas? Are they bugged maybe?
I logged into each character to put together all my dyes and I was given a refund dye pack for the dyes I already had. HOWEVER, the refund dye pack I was given gave me dyes I already opened that can’t use nor sell. I have a total of 8 dyes I cannot use. So can you take back those dyes and give me new ones? Or can we work out an exchange of some kind? Please hit me back ASAP. Thanks for the time. -Luvimor
I agree. There NEEDS to be a Group Finder. It is so much of an inconvenience to spam for groups. The majority of game time would be spent spaming then playing. Its always good to keep this type of thread going so developers will notice.
The game NEEDS a group finder.
I was playing AC and someone bailed out of our group. The four of us had to stop, then I volunteered to teleport out and spam for someone to join so we could resume. Twenty minutes later, I had no luck, and the group fell apart. This has already happened a few times.
I already know about having guild mates help out but my guild is only a few and were not enough to roll a dungeon and spamming chat seems inconvenient and lame.
Please patch-in a group finder!!!
When will Guild Wars 2 be implementing a Dungeon Finder?
It is an EXTREME inconvenience to stop the dungeon when someone bails from the group, and then having to teleport out of the instance to spam the chat for someone to join the group to resume.
