I’m not saying that skill lag is something that we should just deal with but… In every MMO that I’ve played there has been skill lag in some way, shape or form.

I think that all classes fulfill a unique role in WvW. You should pick what you enjoy most playing and if people try to criticize you for it just ignore them.
My main is a ranger and I know that rangers tend to get hated on, but I never let that bother me. I know what I can and cannot do with my character. As long as you know the limitations of your class (and every class has its limitations) you will be alright.

Awesome job on this costume!

Lol, you’ve got more guts than me!

I find that Fort Aspenwood is fairly active. At least in my opinion.

Easiest way to find it is to move your cursor over each map area name and it will give you the % you have completed on that particular area. Had to do that with my 100% completion and turns out I missed some random starter area.

While I did enjoy the GvG in GW1. I cannot say that I really miss it in GW2. I love the unity you feel with your entire server with the WvW maps. But, I can understand how that would be lacking with servers who do not come together as a cohesive unit.

I think that WvW can be interpreted as many different ‘types’ of play. It’s different with each person. I feel that if you are truly not concerned with the leader board then just don’t pay attention to it. Why go through the trouble of removing the thing when some people derive satisfaction out of it?
Personally, I love WvW but I never look at the leader boards. I don’t find a point to it and merely play because I enjoy the tactical side that WvW offers. However I don’t feel that I need to rain on other peoples parade (those who do enjoy it) just because I don’t see the point in it myself.

“Well, Arenanet considers sub30 minute runs to be fast, so 40 isn’t exactly slow. CM story isn’t any much harder than what it was before, maybe the tunnel area, but still easily doable.”
Going from being able to run it in less than 20 minutes to now taking over 40 is a huge downgrade for me. I must have missed it before, but was anyone complaining about the dungeons before this ‘update’?
I just think that it’s ridiculous, why can the players not decide how they want to play the game instead of Anet patching to make the decisions for us?
IGN: Luxit
The dungeons were fine before this patch. Now, they aren’t even worth the time of day. How in the world do you expect level 40’s to run a dungeon like CM when the enemies are busy being near invincible and all. It shouldn’t take me 40 minutes to run a dungeon like that. You want to talk about how much funner that this patch has made things, we’ll in my opinion you deserve a JOB WELL DONE on sucking the fun right out of dungeons. GG.

Thanks for that clarification Fearnight!

Just keep the crud out of chat to be safe. You can have the ‘dirty’ conversations with the people that you know, such as guildies/friends, who are comfortable with it.
IGN: Luxit
Sorry for being a bit of a noob, but Fearnight what do you mean by DE?
IGN: Luxit
I doubt that Anet would be willing to switch them out for you, but there is no harm in trying. Send them a ticket and see if they can help you. The worst thing they can do is say no.

Thanks for this!

So I’m about to hit level 80 on my ranger, and I’m not sure what to do for my level 80 gear set. Should I buy items off of the trading post or purchase karma sets? Which would have better stats?

They do not stack so don’t waste your food.

I use dodge to cancel out skills that I activate by mistake.

I like how they have the friend list in the game. Especially because there are so many people with alts, but I would 150% support having to accept requests to be added to a list before any of that information is shared.
I like the amount of information the lists provide, but we need some security measures to limit who can access that information.

I don’t mind that there is no quiver, when I’m in the middle of PvE, that’s the last thing that I’m looking at.
On a graphical side, games that I have played that include the quiver experience issues such as the arrow cutting into the quiver when your character pulls it out. That annoys me more than the no quiver issue.
IGN: Luxit
They may have made it like that so you have incentive to create and play multiple characters. Just a thought? That’s definitely what I plan on doing just to get the other story lines.

You probably already did purchase it, when you buy items from the Trading Post they go to your “Pick Up” screen, which is the last tab on the Trading Post screen. To see if you have successfully purchased your items, click on that screen and see if they are waiting to be picked up.
If the items don’t appear on the “Pick Up” screen, then it might just be that the Trading Post is bugging out again. There has been a lot of issues with it, and the GM’s are working hard to get everything fixed up.
In order to actually pick up the items that you have purchased (i.e. be able to access them in your actual inventory), you have to go to a Trading Post vender, they are marked as a set of scales (icon) on your map when you ‘talk’ to them go back down to the last tab and select the ‘pick up’ button to receive the items you have purchased and any profits from items that you have sold via the trading post.
I hope that this has helped you!

I couldn’t help but lol at the idea of a Charr Mesmer.
That sounds hilarious!

Mounts could be neat, but they could also destroy the game. There are so many events that you can run into just by footing it across the map, gaining exp and karma along the way. With mounts no one would stop to enjoy that.
