grammar errors, story makes no sense at times, “Gus” teleports all over the place. First he is in his house next he is getting pelted by rocks, from not a bully but “Bully” <—bad name and oafs which could be named something else from time to time, like minions, or those jag offs that follow this fatass around. I get the fact that bully is fat..but at night near..what a hen house? they are just eating pies? is he THIS fat?

I suppose my build is a regular D/D build but without the traits for Air which gives you boons when you gain aura’s nor the trait that gives you protection when granting yourself an aura in earth

To begin this post I would like to say that I was a disbeliever. I was a doubter, a discourager of the idea that making money, or doing x build would work because so and so said this and that on the forums.
I was wrong
I am an Elementalist who was 40 minutes ago following the double dagger damage duo of destruction build that so many of my kin follow these days. For the hell of it I tried Scepter Focus, and everything went from me having to fly all over the place, to me standing there killing everything and not having to worry.
problem one solved
Next, since I was one of many who raced to 80 and got all exotics, I needed something to do. Watching the trading post for market flips is exceedingly boring and many of the markets are trashed for the season. So i resided to completing an area that I had not previously done.
During that, i believe hour to hour and a half run around Frostgorge sound. I fell in love with the game again. I wasn’t just grinding away for something now. All I was doing was adventuring, helping out whoever needed it. Again the reason why I played this game became clear.
and I made money to,
not just from completing the area no, I totaled it up I made 2 g,76 s,52 c, by doing nothing but running around and enjoying myself. I made even more completing the area.
For those who wonder how to make money. Play the game explore new area’s. Save up all crafting material you find. Salvage things that can and are worth being salvaged. Set your own prices on the trading post.
This method wont net you instant satisfaction money. But it will get you gold.
For those wanting to have fun. Explore the game, complete the map. After its all over you’ll be able to tell yourself “look at what I did, look at what I have accomplished”
The next step is legendaries.

I apologies right now for my bad grammar and spelling. This is a rant but…I am hoping for someone to say “hey knucklehead here is what you are doing wrong!”
I started out as a necro in GW1 and was underwhelmed completely. The problem I had though was I never like making new characters, I stick with my main and try and work out whatever problems I face and become the best at what I am. I was still always jealous of elementalaists and warriors though.
GW2 roles around and now I am an Ele, yay! Whats this?….all of our damage can be avoided…oh wel-…wait we dont have as much health as a necro now?….wait come on…oh and double daggers is the only “effective” way weapon set for us. Of course there are other weapon sets, and oh they are supposed to be interchanged with whatever situation your in.
But there in lay the problem. We get 1 weapon and 4 elements. We can just switch like a warrior who, by the way at level two, straight out of the story intro quest can go to WvWvW and have MORE health then a fully geared ele, and do more damage then they can.
Ive tried really, hard to understand the concepts and love of being an Ele
Maybe I was just looking for instant satisfaction from the actions I put forth. Maybe I should have just gone with the band wagon and rolled a warrior so I too could have hundreds of gold and easily put down mobs and other players and the like without so much as a cough.
Someone tell me Iam doing it wrong, I go 0/10/10/20/30 and others times 0/10/10/30/20 just for that extra health
Oh Ive done the random builds to, Ive held a steady 71% crit chance, It was EASY. Did I do any damage? No, in fact I believe I did less damage then my current build with Soldiers gear stats
Someone tell me somthing positive

Ill keep this short because I know anyone who is having this has experienced at least.
Crashes when they log into a certain character
Crashes after an unspecified amount of time
Crashes constantly from a corrupt data file called MainCLP(with some weird 3 digit number here)
HERE IS THE FIX,
1.Step one uninstall GuildWars 2
Reason: You need a fresh slate, this corruption is commeing from somewhere
2. After Re installation and full updating go to the directory where you installed Gw2
3. Copy a file named Gw2.dat It should be the biggest file you have
Extra Instructions: Copy it into a folder somewhere else where you will remember where it is.
Reason: This is a clean slate, nothing is wrong with this data file. If for whatever reason unbeknownst to us mortals WHY in the future your Data file gets corrupt you can now just replace it within the span of 10 minutes or so depending on how fast your hard drive is…instead of it taking the course of a day re-downloading the game.
I understand many people who have this problem are extremely frustrated, believe me I am to still. However this fixed just saved me another agonizing night of re downloading GW2
Extra instructions: Even though this is a very obvious thing to remember: Please always copy and paste your back up Data file instead of just moving it, you dont want to loose your clean slate incase the new one gets corrupt -.-
Stay strong, you can do this.
I gusse its a trade off, I dont know usually I just pop my Ether Renewal just to get rid of a few conditions, it never saved me from dieing anyway
With ANet, you either need to make a Warrior or prepare for a long succession of nerfs and persistent bugs.

Oh man, please don’t make me. This happened in GW1 where the necro couldn’t farm as crazy as the ele’s or the warriors or those dam assassins. All we had was our 55 spiteful spirit combo and then even that got nerfed. I played through though…..
Now its GW2 and I pick the Elementalist because i love magic and I am not an angsty teen necro anymore. Now what the flippidy jip is this? Warriors, Mesmers, Thieves, Necro’s even, Guardians, and Engineers do their jobs better than I can. I can’t spec into anything because I am sapposed to flip flop around the elements. But, all the other classes can just spec into somthing and be totally happy with it! I have guild mates that are GUARDIANS that kill things faster than I can. I am in full exotic gear, Yea gusse what I have an exotic staff even.
Oh whats the point. I am sapposed to play D/D like everyone says so. I didn’t want to play that way. I didn’t want to be a support either. I thought there were no “classes” like tank and healer and yada yada. Ive been reading these forums for months and now I finally have to add my voice to this dirge of a chorus.
Iam so frustrated I can’t even make my sentences good with the grammar n stuff >.>
