So i haven’t played this in about 2 years, from what I heard the game now everyone uses beserker gear all the time.

Does this still apply for the expansion?

I too was wondering about this just saw the list of ascended gear on the wiki and saw that the only healing power items were the ones with stats on everything, not good.

Yes you definitely will come across the odd well played player that you just cannot kill, but on the upside if your good aswell, they can’t kill you, so best to just leave them or tempt them into the brutal force of your teams zerg/groups, or have ready your sheild near a cliff :P

Yep, I fought the ele and another guardian for about 10 minutes before they killed me, and only because i made a few back to back mistakes.

If the bow did damage, might be a real option for some range if they did this.

I tried this last night, is insane you just won’t die, period. I had trouble in WvW tho some eles specced for healing are impossible to kill.

Even without 20 on virtues its good, specially against DoTs. Also it Affects NPCs so is good for escort DEs.

I find the fix to battle presence to be nice but it’s one of those traits that appears to be useless to me. It encourages you to never use it’s active skill. Even with the fix, i’ll still never use it.

The aura works on allies even if the virtue is on CD from using it.

I have tried every single spec that has been posted on this site, because condiotion damage is “bad” but you know what? My condition damage spec is the only one I have no problem either Soloing champions or Killing People in Spvp.

Anyway, the signet of wrath is useless there no way to be able to fit in a condtion damage build if you want to keep up burning all the time. better to keep burning up than getting a insignificant amount of extra damage from the signet.

^ Yeah the condition damage increases, but look at how much you’ve just lost in survival or direct damage in getting 1k condition damage and building to get 100% burning duration on a single target, let alone AoE.

The only thing you really miss with my spec is the toughness, Direct damage you only really see it when you are in a group since your burning might be behinds an elementalist or engineer.

Thank you all for the tips, and last night i did much better didn’t had a lot of 1 vs 1 last night vs mesmers the one I did have was “leveled up” and I noticed a lot of stuff now, like the clones running toward me etc; i didn’t know about that bit before.

I was having an off day too last night getting owned by everything thought heh.

Thank you for the replies and the videos, I guess I need to change my tactics. I really don’t feel like changing my traits because like I said nothing else could kill me and i have a fairly bit of burst as well.

Is funny tho I can kill 1 vs 2/3 but 1 single mesmer can put me down in seconds.

What a lot of people don’t realize is that the wall is not really the white translucent force field we do. The wall is actually a Rectangle area that you can step in and reflect anything no matter which side you get ranged attacked from.

Why do people complain about backstab when Killshot can hit you for over 10,000 damage?

First of all, the rifle spec is woefully underpowered in tPvP. Second, good luck landing a killshot. You literally have a 20% success rate with that thing, and half the time it doesn’t even crit. You can block it, dodge it, interrupt, and walk out of it’s range. Not to mention that the massive 10k crits only come from pure glass cannon warriors (berserker’s amulet/jewel).

Heh I didn’t even know this ability existed until last night when I got hit by a 13k kill shot, and the only reason i got hit by it was because i was fighting another guy and didn’t noticed the warrior hiding.

Ok so I was roaming alone on WvW, taking Points, killing Dolyaks and taking Camps on my own. I defeated anything that came at me.

3 NPCs at the same time? hah
3 NPCs and 2 server defenders? Fun times.

Then I saw a guy alone running I even got the advantage of seeing him before he saw me. Then after that first attack he killed me before I realize my health had drop in such little time, so instead of complaining and asking for nerfs I want to know how to kill these guys. Any ideas? Tips?

I have a solid Arah team that runs path 3 everyday after reset (8pm east time). We finish in around 1 hour or so we are looking for some experienced players to fill in some last spots, the main thing is knowing Lupicus fight to take him down in 1shot and know the routes specially to the 2nd boss and the last boss. Leave a reply if interested and I will add you later.

We run the other paths on weekends but because of time and the bugs at ends of dungeon not giving loot we don’t bother much until they are fixed.

cool, i would love to have a consistent group for it. I do need more practice on lupicus to be honest but I’m up to the challenge.

I want to do Arah explorable with a group that doesn’t break after 1 wipe so feel free to add me.

wow, he soloed 6 of us in less than a minute i guess i leveled the wrong profession.
