Uh… you crafted 1024 +1 infusions into a +11?
Gameplay was great
The fractal-ception was cool
Did I mention I hate Scarlet?
While this seems kind of dumb, I would definitely at least check out what the game is like if anyone advertised like this, lol.
The concept of leaderboards is pointless. I guarantee many players wouldn’t give two cents for it… because I don’t.
If you were going to do this at least make it so that old players wouldn’t get chaffed by this and give the option of participating in “leaderboards” or not for the reset.
The fractal levels we played to earn are just going to disappear? It takes time and effort to complete the dungeon, it’s difficult to stomach the fact that it’s all going to waste.
-level 49’er
Ooze makes difficulty too high for pugs.
I’d like in please
Where did you hear of this information?
And suddenly, everything feels more real.
Anyone else do this?
Why would you use median when inflation is about mean?
Not really when you can get a bag every 40 seconds average elsewhere
killed with zerk shortbow
lol I didn’t quite make the connection until I saw this, forgot all about job-o-tron
Don’t be a jerk
Not hard
After the Flame and Frost: Gathering Storm update, information on the subject was never updated on the wiki.
Reward Updates
Credit for killing creatures is now easier to receive in situations when many players are attacking a single target.
I can ctrl click but it only shows one piece before sending in chat
Thanks for starting this, it will see a lot of use for both experienced and new dungeoneers.
It feels like Warriors have both more damage and more survivability compared to Thieves.
What makes our class better than the others?
Besides stealth.
General update please!~
As GW2 expands the player-base becomes increasingly familiar with the world.
This results in stagnation, which Anet has attempted to rectify with the frequent Living World updates.
However, a Living World needs more than just new content in one part of the World, there needs to be updates on the various explorable areas in the general GW2 world.
Bosses need to have their attack mechanics updated. For example, in the Shatterer meta-event, players can just stand on the left side and avoid all attacks. This makes for dull play and players only do this to get the chest with the rare at the end. There’s really no challenge or interest. Dynamic event bosses are harder than this.
As an added note, it’s hilarious in the Tequatl meta-event how players just ignore the hyleks and leave them to die, disregarding charging the laser or even using the turrets, every single time.
Npcs beyond Lions Arch need to be updated as well to reflect the changes coming into the world. In this part, I think Anet has done a fine job in taking the step in the right direction. As always though, it could be improved, especially when the GW2 world is so large, and home cities so empty.
Dynamic Events
When have these been updated in the explorable areas? There’s so much that you guys can do with this. Seriously, just imagine what can happen especially with the recent Living World updates.
Minigames
Instead of introducing more, please just focus on improving the ones that’s already developed.
Southsun Survival and Sanctum Sprint have ridiculous potential in this.
So, yeah.
I’ll be spending all the tokens I have on Sunday 3pm est
Join me~
This needs to be fixed bump
I beat Adnul
So it’s possible
Got it!
Except it can’t be used.
I did the jumping puzzle before the update so having a mesmer port for the sample saved a lot of time.
You get diminishing returns after ~30 minutes – 1 hour, which decreases your chances as you spend more time farming for crates.
I spent 2 hours :O in Southsun before remembering.
Take off your armor, die. No repair bill, easy.
If I leave my party will they get kicked? Is there any way to get back in?
Oh WOW. That moment when you realize you only did 1/8 of the damage as you thought you did.
For the dual-sill Unload, it always does more damage as I fire more shots. Why? The skill description says it does 101 Damage for each shot with 8 shots.
Also, is Pistol/Pistol or Shortbow better for single target d/ps?
“Here’s what we believe: If someone wants to play for a thousand hours to get an item that is so rare that other players can’t realistically acquire it, that rare item should be differentiated by its visual appearance and rarity alone, not by being more powerful than everything else in the game. Otherwise, your MMO becomes all about grinding to get the best gear. We don’t make grindy games — we leave the grind to other MMOs.”
Destroyed by Ascended Gear.
“Fun impacts loot collection. The rarest items in the game are not more powerful than other items, so you don’t need them to be the best. The rarest items have unique looks to help your character feel that sense of accomplishment, but it’s not required to play the game. We don’t need to make mandatory gear treadmills, we make all of it optional, so those who find it fun to chase this prestigious gear can do so, but those who don’t are just as powerful and get to have fun too.”
Again, destroyed by Ascended Gear.
“Because, like Guild Wars before it, GW2 doesn’t fall into the traps of traditional MMORPGs. It doesn’t suck your life away and force you onto a grinding treadmill; it
doesn’t make you spend hours preparing to have fun rather than just having fun;”
Was already destroyed before Ascended Gear, but whatever, now it’s even further destroyed by Ascended Gear.
To whoever came up with the idea of Ascended Gear, congratulations on coming up with the most kittening kitten kittenhit idea that undermines the game’s entire basic philosophy.
