Don’t feel left behind. The best thing about GW2 is that you can always go back and play the way you want to play!
Gratz to the OP for posting this. Memories of my first MMO flashed on my mind while I was reading this post. And yes, this is very true for me. I never found another MMO that made gave me that “magical feeling” as the first one I played (Ragnarok).
That would mess up the skill tree system. Wont bring any value to anything.
Seriously. $200. Never again. “Fool me once” and all that.
In fact, it’s probably going to be quite a while before I buy another gem for real cash.
You spent 200 bucks on gambling, and complain? The fault is entirely yours.
Don’t spend money you can’t afford to lose on gambling.
Again, I’m not complaining, I can afford it, and of course it’s my fault. I’m not suggesting otherwise, or trying to blame A-Net. I certainly wouldn’t blow $200 at a casino. I don’t know why I thought this should be any different.
Just trying to provide some feedback.
You were probably better off spending the $200 in a casino. At least you’d be gambling it on something that would give you real value in real life.
You know what a good idea is? Changing armor sets with one button!
^ agree. These are necessary gold sinks to slow down inflation in prices. Removing the skill reset fees on the other hand, might be a good idea.

Just some thoughts.
3. Need more variety. How about Daily Ranker (counterpart to PVE daily leveller) and Daily Objective Defended (defense just as important as offense)?
Daily ranker seems like a good idea but unfortunately will take the longest time to complete if you start from 0
Since the new patch, ive been getting 20 badges or more for 2 hours by virtue of zerg vs zerg, capping camps and taking keeps. The more damage you give to enemy players, camp supervisors and champions, the higher chance you get 2 badges. Plus, the addition of the level up chests. It’s not so hard to get the badges anymore unlike before.
There is a setting that you could alter in options. It removes the circle for targetting completely and throws to the area your mouse is pointing at. It makes throwing grenades easier than having to press 1 twice or 1 then LMB. The downside is you won’t be able to see the out of range before you throw.
I now recently use HGH p/p grenade build. We are so much better within a zerg than roam solo. We can basically keep enemies off the ledge of keeps, bombard narrow paths, and scatter zergs knocking on keep gates by spamming nades. I also found that fighting in a tight and narrow spaces such as chokepoints, stairs and tunnels are most advantageous to us than in open areas. Engineers aren’t usually the heroes but in terms of loot count, heck we can get quite a lot given our cc skills.
I just recently used your hgh condi build in wvwvw and i must say this is the best ove tried so far. I love how i can tag a lot using nades and pistol 3. i have to say, hair trigger ia better than speedy kits. I don’t really need permswift when running with zergs. Thanks for sharing this. I love my engi even more because of this.
^ didn’t know that you could use symbol characters (is that what it’s called?). 8/10 sounds elvish and flowery. Mine is a Mesmer named Poison Ivee
Hi!
Short intro of myself:
I’ve been playing the game for 2 days now. I played other small scale online games (Luminary, RO, Tales of Pirate) before but I’ve never played huge scale MMOs such as this (and WoW).
Is there any guilds here welcoming of total noobs like me?
