Thanks for the fun GvG last night TW. Look forward to doing it again and seeing you guys out in the field.

I have changed settings to multiple variables and culling seems to be affecting everything from particles, to players, to siege weapons and npcs.

I have a high end pc and had no issues before this patch. WvW is virtually unplayable.

If your team is dying more than us, then you lose imo. Nobody cares about the score at the end of the week. That’s why people come to Maguuma, because we would rather just kill people and laugh at them.

If your Team is doing all of the killing and not taking over objectives then you are doing it wrong. If you truly think that you kill TC more than they kill you guys, you are quite delusional.

I mean, we kill you AND take your kitten…

If anyone wants a proper gvg with equal numbers I’d be down for it… we don’t record or otherwise chest thump on the forums about it. It’s all in good fun just send me a tell and I’d love to set something up to either train or just generally get better / have fun.

We could even have a gvg fightclub from each server.

I have opened roughly 1400 coffers and pulled 4 tickets. I purchased 25 of the rich coffers initially and received the same items you would get from normal coffers.

Crystal Desert Borderlands was intense all night. Unfortunately TSL needs sleep but it was good to see you guys were still bringing it. Should be a great week of WvWvW for all of us.

The TC players that held Bluevale, in SoR borderlands, did an awesome job of keeping us out. That was a real good time thanks.

Also kudos’ to the TC group that broke out into EB, I know we didn’t make it easy for you at all.

This was primarily TSL and TSP. Good fights. We had 30ish there and it looked like you guys had 50 at the gate and another 50 swarming over the hill. Of course I do not know the exact numbers but it was fun.

I am not going to lie. Tonight we were outplayed by Anet. I know many of the WvW guilds for TC had players experiencing the dreaded disconnect issue after the update and that was more discouraging than the score, causing quite a few to say kitten it and log.

Day 1 goes to SoR.

We will be bringing it the rest of the week and I look forward to more intense fighting.

Not much “mini” about a game that lasts 24/7.

Mini in the sense that it’s a fun distraction, also in the sense that it’s ‘PvP lite’ in regards to skill.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun as hell. But people take it way too seriously.

There is nothing ‘lite’ about it. The battles are epic. It does have some flaws but nothing insurmountable and you earn a decent amount of buffs for your server, whether you are winning or in third place.

Skill is in the eye of the beholder. It takes a tremendous amount of skill and organization to be successful on any WvW map. People take is seriously for many, many reasons. It is definitely an opinion such as yours that is in the miniscule minority.

The Shadow Legion on Tarnished Coast sounds like the perfect fit for you. We are a WvW focused guild and field 15 to 25 people during the weeknights during the hours you have listed. We coordinate with other guilds to optimize our success and of course we use a mumble server.

I’d make a different plea: if you are the winning server and an orb gets hacked away from you – let it go. You’ll probably get much better competition when your zergs aren’t rolling around with all those extra stats compared to your competition. Do you really need to imbalance things even further?

This gave me a chuckle.

Stop crying. The game is what you make it. We (TC) did not come to the boards crying about orbs, portals, night capping, zergs, whatever when we got our kitten pushed in by Crystal Desert and Blackgate.

We made our own fun out of not giving up, fighting hard when we could and accepting the situation as it is what it is. We will face the same circumstances again and we will have fun when it happens.

I would like to commend Dragonbrand for putting up solid fights last night on their home borderland. We tried for hours to take Longview and were defeated several times. The fights at Arahs were pretty large and epic. Thank you all for not throwing in the towel.

It was nice from a TSL perspective to see some old faces (guilds) we have a history with on the other side (FA). The KoT crew we kept running into gave us all a good laugh in mumble as they tucked tail and tried to head for the hills to no avail.

Hopefully we get to give KGB a nice, warm welcome to the borderlands this week.

It is nigh impossible for FA to pass us at this point. Here is the current score.

We continue to look for WvW oriented players. We like long walks on the ramparts as arrows rain down around us. We enjoy escorting our lovely supply dolyaks under the bright moonlight. We are also fond killing our enemies in the face.

Its a test of character. Winning proves nothing. It is how you handle defeat that measures you and those around you.

A test of character? Hardly. Some of us just aren’t masochist. I don’t mind losing when its a fair match up. In fact I think its those kinds of games that help improve your abilities and strategy.

But there is nothing to be learned from this match-up, and there is no point in WvW this week other then to goof around. So while you might derive some sick pleasure out of being outnumbered 6-1, the rest of us will wait for next week when the numbers aren’t an easy win for the competition.

Absolutely a test of character. Yours is that of a quitter. If it is not easy then you have no desire to go out and provide the best support you can for the map you’re on or server. You have spouted this type of behaviour in the past. I think you might want to look into transferring to a top tier server so that your needs are met.

That goes for anyone who does not feel the need to WvW and fight back. Sure we are facing a numbers mismatch, but that does not mean we are out-skilled or outplayed

TSL (The Shadow Legion) is not an oceanic guild. We are a NA guild spread across every NA time zone. However, we do have members playing at all hours of the day/night. Most of us play until 2, 3 and even 4 am EST.

I believe that ANet is indeed trying to funnel the different time zones together so that there is better balance through their ladder system. This can be the only reason why transfers are still available.

By doing this they are showing us, the player base, the disparity in peak times and how hard it is and will continue to be, to compete with the top tier servers. On TC we hold our own against CD during our peak time but off time is another story. Once the servers balance with a steady population of NA, Oceanic/Asian players will we then begin to see more competitive matches.

It is not healthy for the game to constantly have the same 4 servers vying for the same positions week in and week out. So those on lower ranked servers should research the best server destination for them and move there. TC has no queue time during our NA off peak hours.

Well, they left our server for various reasons as I understand it. They are welcome to transfer wherever they like.

I would like to formally invite any and all SoS guilds, groups or single players to transfer over to a server with a promising future, Tarnished Coast. While we are battling it out for second place in our current match up, it is no secret that had we an established oceanic presence, it would be a battle for first.

Well the good thing about being in 3rd is we get to decide who comes in first and seeing as how Dragon and CD are pretty much working as a team, one of them is gonna get the shaft when we pick who gets to win. So far I’m thinking we should let Dragon win since CD doesn’t seem at all concerned with their lead and is focusing us hardcore. Punish CD for ignoring Dragon and ensure they never make it to 1st.

That is quitter talk. If this is truly how you feel, if anyone on TC feels this way, dont queue up. Let those who want to continue fighting, ON DAY 2, queue up and get in the fight.

Pretty funny that i read someone say there is a lack of ego with the TC rp’rs, especially reading the following posts trying to stroke it all up. When we were losing you guys were nowhere to be found. I guess noone wants to rp the loser, huh? Being positive and friendly does go a long way but i’ve seen it fall apart time after time when you see your coin go down to the flame rams and elementals. TC needs more than just a nighttime presence, we need the foul mouthed hardcore pvp’rs that most of our server is too thin skinned to handle. We do work together really well and its nice seeing the guilds willing to spend coin and seeing it through, but we need to work on our strategy. The way we have played this last week won’t work against well populated WvW guilds.

Wha? This server has several top notch guilds dedicated to WvW. TSL, pINK, EB, TSG, TSP, and the list goes on. Forgive me if I left any out. We completely dominated SoS and GoM.

Now I am the one confused. 16 hour downtime? So we have more during your primetime? So that would mean SoS players should come to TC.

Also this thread is for recruiting AMERICAN PLAYERS, if you didn’t read the title not oceanic players. Why would any NA guilds want to move to Tarnished coast when they would have absolutely nothing to do and long queue times?

If it was just simple swapping due to night capping then the score would be much closer correct? It is more than just swapping, it shows that we were able to hold SoS off earlier in the week during their primetime.

If you refer to last the past few nights, I am sure it is because hardly anyone is queueing for WvW on TC due to the insurmountable lead we have.

I respect that you are trying to get a NA presence on SoS, but honestly, Tarnished Coast is the server on the upswing. Oceanic players and guilds should move to TC. Proof below.

While I was not there at the battle, I have fought plenty of times at the exact location with large numbers on both sides. It is a rendering issue. Culling. No exploit.

I do however understand it is easier to have excuses for why you did not win instead of just saying well done, maybe next time.

I ran into a mezmer doing this tonight. Its not a speed hack so much as a map hack. Either way its wrong and I hope something is done about it soon.

We WvW nightly and will soon be looking to form sPvP teams. We have found that there are some very solid, very good PvPers on Tarnished Coast. We would love to have you in our guild.

I have never received this error until tonight; multiple times. The game is extremely laggy and I have crashed to character select screen multiple times tonight with this error message displaying.

I have tried rebooting my router and modem thinking that this might be the issue but everything is running fine. Nothing has changed on my end as far as configuration.
