I recommend checking out sites like Tom’s Hardware. They have monthly recommendations on best gaming CPUs and graphics cards for different price levels. They also have periodic system build “challenges” where they will try to build the best PC for three or four price points and then they do a postmortem on the results.
Building your own PC is easy, but can be confusing and intimidating the first time you do it. I bought my first PC in 1985 and immediately upgraded it with a 20 MB (yes, MB) hard drive and controller card. (GW2’s dat file is more than 1,000 times that size.) I’ve been assembling my own desktops for about the last 20 years. In that time I have assembled a new PC (new motherboard) about every two or three years and roll upgrades down through my PC to my wife’s PC whenever I feel I need a new component. I upgraded more often in the past but with the performance of modern PCs it’s not really worth the money and effort for the small increase in performance.

Once filed correctly the purchase was refunded in less than a day. Kudos to ArenaNet.
A couple of days ago I bought my daughter the ultimate version of the expansion back with the provision that she buy her mother and sister Watchwork Picks. She purchased and sent the two gifts but mistakenly purchased the Consortium harvest item instead. How can I get these purchases canceled? Neither item has been claimed.
My daughter filed this under as a bug report as there didn’t seem to be any other way of filing a request and I PM’ed Gaile Gray.

Times suck. I’ll be getting home from work shortly after the second block of time ends.
After playing the entire drop period for multiple hours per day, I got two drops in short succession. The first was in SW, VW mid Lane assault from a bouncy chest while Shadow Refuging the carrier at 1:55 AM MST Saturday night. The second was from a random mob near Devourer Queen area (but not during the event) just less than 11 clock hours and 2 game hours later on Sunday.
My daughter got one during VW on the last round of SW she played on Sunday before going to bed for school (high school, she’s age eligible).
Old topic, but I just lost my first one (need five for Mawdrey) because I dragged it from a regular inventory bag to an invisible bag and it converted for some reason other than me double clicking. It isn’t always “reed teh tule typ noob”.
