Well…. Whiteside isnt winning only because you really lack numbers, Blacktide uses the “one zerg” uhm lets call it “strategy”, they dont bother cutting supply lines or defending supply lines, even guilds that call themselves “only WvW”. In their mind there is only one way of doing WvW and its one zerg blob. Most of the time they dont bother creating smaller groups that would take supply camps/towers or defend supply camps/towers, its only one zerg takes or defends a single objective at a time.
Being the best of 3 worst servers… thats something to be proud of.

Oh nice, you made screenshots after the christmass night WvW when nobody has been playing and you took over entire wvw for 25 minutes.

@Madderdin: Enemy zergs always look bigger since you can see the entirety of them. Usually well organized enemies will have ~1/3 or so more people in their main group.
It’s like that on all servers and has been before any queue bugs.
People aren’t necessarily afk, doing the jp or leveling their alts (although that is quite often a sizable group). The percentage of people that want to help without joining the zerg (scouting, building siege, running supply etc. ) is simply higher on home border than on other maps.
I’m sorry, but are you implying that I do not know the difference between 20 and 60 people?
Have you noticed that part when I wrote “we run in one big blob with after one commander”
Have you noticed that your explanations exclude themselves logically?
Are you implying that someone who comes to level up his character is going to solo roam rather than join the zerg blob because that would be more efficient on WvW?
I guess you are not from any of the servers in this particular group and you have no real knowledge about the situation that pretty much shows how your arguments are invalid
When Drakkari Lake has 100% of Eternal Borderlands 95% of their borderlands 95% of Vabbi Borderlands and 70% of Blacktide Borderlands AND Blacktide has a queue because Blacktide Borderlands are full AND we all go to 1 commander AND there is no real chance for solo roamers or solo levelers on WvW or people running for supplies because we dont have anything more than 1 supply camp, 1 tower and the garrison AND there are no scouts because do you know how to spot someone who scouts? they write on the map chat about what they had scouted. And one zerg goes vs the other zerg, both zergs stack before fight starts so they are not spread (And i dont know how about you, but i dont have tunnel vision only on my currently selected target, i look around all the time) then the fight just ends within 20 seconds, one zerg gets destroyed the other loses 5 players.
Are you implying that its possible in such fights of two groups of 50-60 players, one group sits afk and barely deals damage? Or perhaps there is a possiblity that when it sometimes says Borderlands are full, the opposing faction might just have player advantage because something is wrong with the numbers of players allowed on such server?
You know what is the most annoying thing? BT has a queue on BlackTide Borderlands, when we run in one blob zerg vs Drakkari one blob zerg most of the time it seems like they outnumber us 3 to 1. I am pretty sure we dont have more than 1 group since everyone tends to run after one commander, i am also pretty sure that we dont have 66% of afkers.
Is there no balance for player numbers per originating server? Sometimes we manage to get equal numbers and then we have a chance of winning, but most of the time eventhough we sit in queue there is just too many of them.
I have started playing this game a bit under a year ago, Elementalist only, had some fun with it but then the nerfs began RTL on 40 second CD was a nail in the coffin. Switched to Mesmer not as much fun as D/D Ele used to be before the nerfs, but alot more than Ele after the nerfs.
New ones are alot better, now we can again play as we like anddo them along, we dont have to go to specific places just to get the aquatic kills for example.
I am shocked how many selfcentered drones think that if someone find this daily annoying he surely cant dodge and should L2P.
Press dodge in the correct moment – game does not think you dodged, you do not get damaged, because you were out of the way, but according to the game you did it too soon, no evade or whatever is that message.
As for the selfcentered drones insulting everybody who do not like this daily – you are the reason people leave games, your attitude is the most annoying and disgusting.
Another dodger that takes hours, because you gotta dodge the very last second, not just avoid the damage. Kill 5 veterans, killed first, it didnt count, cba to see if next 15 might count for the 5, aspecially that finding them is a chore. I have no real reason to leave the mists now, just an hour of PvP and thats it.
Thanks for the new dailies, now when I see the “dodger” or “crafter” I know its time to take a break from this game, because I will not be doing them at all, Its annoying to dodge npc attacks and the game simply fails at that. I dont really want to farm the mats or spend gold to complete the crafter. I am not going to spend hours trying to get the killing blow with combo, I will not bother trying to do a combo skill with my friends because we dont have hours to spend trying to hit abilities after abilities in specific order. I hate underwater combat so Underwater Kills is a no go for me,

Basicly you gave me the freedom of having an option not to play this game whenever the dailies suck balls.
Earlier the dailies simply accompanied my gameplay, now you made them a chore, and I do not play games to do chores.
ok, now I’m confused, why are these a chore, and the previous ones weren’t?
Previous ones could be done while leveling, while helping friends who just started this game, basicly the previous dailies completed themselves for me while I leveled or played the way I wanted to play this game, for the new ones I have to make a stop and take a left turn instead of right turn. The new ones? Been trying to dodge stupid attacks for an hour, most of the times I just dont recive any damage, but it seems like I am doing it wrong, because I dont see any message, I just dont get hit by attacks…
Some people do not understand that dodging an attack does not have to equal to seeing the “dodged” or “evaded” or whatever the message is.
Some people are too ignorant to see that someone liked the previous daily system and the new one just is not working out for him.
Some people prefer to flame anyone who posts anything that isnt equal to high praising.

No other game lags, connection in everything else is great. Only Failed Network Wars 2 lag like hell. PLAYNC is “the entertainment hub for all PlayNC games and services.” – Games like Guild Wars 2.
Untill packet enters their internal network every ping is under 50 ms.
GW2 get your network working, get rid of the incompetent workers you have now, they are failing at doing their job. Get rid of the outdated hardware and buy something that works.

So basicly till the packets enter your network everything is utterly normal. In game I get disconnected every few minutes, during the time it took me to write those few sentences I got disconnected twice.
Every action in game happens from 1 to 10 seconds after I press a button. Sometimes everything beside my character stops and then I get an update after few seconds, mostly my char dead on the ground.
Resource Monitor in windows shows 250 – 560 ms latency to the current server 206.127.146.76.
Please get your network working, if you lack competent people feel free to poke me through the email associated with my Guild Wars 2 account and we can arrange how much it would cost your company for me to fix your so called network problems.
Every other game I play has no latency problems whatsoever.
I am running a 14 Mb/s connection.
lags and disconnects, I cant belive i paid real money for this game…. even SWTOR which is F2P from EAware has better service…
Same problem with latency and related only to GW2, every other game just runs normally. SWTOR, WoW, LoL, Diablo 3, SC2 – basicly normal latency in those and many other games while GW2 feels like playing with 2 second latency. Sometimes its normal and sometimes its – I press a button and nothing happens for few seconds.
This with the hillarious lack of any kind of ingame latency meter just boggles my mind.
I just did that, had around 7 GB downloaded but it starts from 0.
Is there any way to resume a stopped download of the game?
I have bought a digital copy of this game and have nothiced an annoying thing, the game downloader does not resume a stopped download, so basicly i have to leave my PC turned on and without any control of the bandwidth usage till this game finishes the download… which will take half a day unless ofc something random happens like a loss of connection for a second and I would be forced to try to download once again…
