Well thought out and well done OP

•Everything we can do other classes can do better
•But we’re not using death shroud properly!

•100+ bugs at the start of the game
•But not it’s ONLY down to 69! Perception is everything, and this shows that necromancer’s are either not on the priority list, or the developers simply DO NOT KNOW how to fix us.

• Everything thing that makes a necro a necro is garbage.
•Condition damage? Crap
•Minion AI? Crap
•Power Builds? Lol roll elementalist
•Survivability? Lol roll mesmer
•Our traits don’t sync with other trait lines
•Hell, most of our traits don’t even work.

Under Problems please put:

Inability to place conditions or marks on inanimate objects lengthens kill time and disproportionately effects necromancers.

I really, really, REALLY hope they don’t take the approach of a certain “other” game. By that I mean balance this class based on the best players. Here’s why.

If, say, 5% of the player base can absolutely melt faces as a necromancer 75% can play it decently and 20% can’t play it very well,

Please. Do. Not. Balance. Around. The. 5%

You’ll do nothing but discourage the other 95% of players.

Recently turned 80 Necro with only 90 hours played and already wondering why I played the class that long.

Guys, every profession, save for warriors and guardians, has threads just like this one. Every profession has issues that the players feel the devs have been ignoring.

Grow up, and show some patience.

They have threads like this one because ANET created them for the classes after we wrote the book. Or should I say, the War & Peace of bugs.

And it is not activated by DS crits.

And Hemo + Lingering Curse is on the bug compliation as not working together.

Doesn’t fix the fact that you can get ore / planks out the wazoo but get to lvl 80 and still be at <50 tailoring.

I got one off a mob and didn’t know what it was for ><. Kept it for S&G’s.

They’re the reason I played a necro. I try to use signets and wells, but it just doesn’t feel right to me and I end up filling my bars with them again even though I know they suck.

Barbed Precision (5 pts in curse) does not proc off of DS crits.

Jagged Horrors need to be horrible, not dead 5 seconds after they are summoned. Especially with a 30 second cooldown.

Minions often do not attack inanemate objects.

Lack of conditions on inanemate objects means our primary damage is severely nerfed.
