Exactly what Zanther said. Why would you feel insulted and bothered by a random person online which at this point is just a pixel typing random words just to get under your skin. Its us females that allow them to do so. I play mmo’s for 10 years now and everytime i see someone saying to a girl “go make me a sandwich” just because she felt like anouncing her gender for w/e the reason or they just assumed it , i just laugh , cause that person has a female that answers to at home -a mother, a sister or a wife- OR they have NONE which is why they react like that towards one.

Kids are not fragile either, my brother was 7yo when he started calling everyone Kittens lol and he didn’t learn this from us but either TV or school, he didn’t even have a computer. We live at an age where 14yo’s are already sexually active , people need to start realizing some things already.

I made my ranger a mix of cleric/zealot gear with zealot/cleric/magi trinkets~ The stats aren’t that bad and she has 20k hp :P so i cant wait to test it when beta comes Lets hope its good!

Um…i got 2 keys since the change in drop rate…one from WvW and one from a Silverwaste’s mob, the wolf with the flower on its head lol …before that, it only dropped twice since i started playing the game 3 years ago. So i guess its an improvement!! xD

There’s absolutely no reason for Anet rush anything because of Archeage. AA has been it’s own demise since release from Alpha stage.

I played Alpha. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time of playing MMO games. If that game went the route of GW2 with it’s item mall, I probably would still be there. However, Xlgames really did kill themselves in the western market by becoming a P2W game.

Exactly that. I played GW2 since launch, after 4 legendaries i had enough of the grind and wanted a break. Tried AA since beta and i remember i was like woooow so much fun im gonna play this for a while. After 8 months i quit AA super disappointed and after more than half my friends have quit it to go Black Desert,GW2 and several other games. Now i came back to GW2 and after all this time my gears are still on par with other people no reason to super grind or stress about things i missed. It reminded me what a great game GW2 is and will always be. Bought HOT expansion and my body is ready for it when it comes. I wont ever go back to AA again no matter what they do.

Have you ever noticed your Human Mesmer face everytime she uses an ability?
For example the first GS skill , take a few sec and zoom in and check your characters face.
If you cant let me show you…take a look at the screenshot….thats the reason i rerolled an asura mesmer and stopped playing my human.Except the fact she was dragging and lifting something that felt like it weight 69tons , she was heavily constipated while doing that too >_>

Im sorry but im one of those that actually look at their character when they cast or move in general and i didnt like what i saw. Personal preference sue me. Asuras face does not change when they use their skills and they lift that Eternity like a boss on their backs w/o problems and go like "Go ahead! Hit me!

I got the Ultimate also and i don’t regret it at all, no matter what other people say GW2 is my favorite game and i had super fun playing it the last years. I was going to purchase gems and a character slot anyway , i think it was a good deal.

Kudzu was my first Legendary , i absolutely love it even if its a bit buggy and i rly wish that STUPID STRING didn’t exist. The first day i got it i thought that the constant chirping was maybe sometimes annoying, but honestly i stopped hearing the birdies after a while. I don’t even notice it makes a sound now when i draw it. You just get used to it.~
Now with Howler i can stack the effects too and it looks kinda cool XD

I have exactly the same problem. Tried everything nothing changed , always after clicking PLAY launcher stop responding and i get a close option w/o any kind of error.

I played normal before that, i dont know what happened :/ Nothing in my system settings changed either .

I have almost the same problem…I came back after a small break i took off the game… so i double click the .exe , launcher pops with update(s) it downloads and installs w.e all good and when i press PLAY it “stop responding” and close.

I have been playing GW2 since launch almost with no problems whatsoever, nothing changed in my computer system i just stopped playing for couple of months and all i did was update the game. I run VISTA and i also tried all of the above people suggested to test with no results.

If someone knows something more i would appreciate the help.

p.s. my friend that played with me did the same exactly and he can play w/o problems altho he runs Win7 dunno if that helps lol

Citizen 2 : It wont matter. The worms will still crawl in and out, in and out.

I used to run around Malchor’s and Cursed Shore everyday to gather my thingies needed for my second legendary and killed all the nice moobies in the way that tried to take my life cause they are hungry "Dinneeeerrr..! "
For me it WAS something i did everyday when i loged and then i proceed on doing other things. The day the newest patch happened i started to do the same thing as usual only to find myself running for my pixel life cause ok i can handle a bunch of zombies trying to suck my brains out, that was fun! But my stamina wasn’t enough to avoid and dodge all those red aoe circles that apparently each and everyone of them did to get me!! I barely can solo veterans at CS anymore and 4 people we failed an event were we tried to save a camp from a bunch of mobs that wiped us more than once and in the end we just left rofl.

My point , i love the game sure idc how hard they make it to obtain something or kill something lol . Not everyone is the same tho and other people get discouraged and they just dont go back at it. Sure its a game you have the freedom of choice but still the fact is a game should make it fun to do it and not something that frustrate you imo

I agree to disagree… What gives anyone the right to judge and criticize people that have more time than others to play a game which none forced anyone to play it. The fact some people can play 12h a day and some 2h a day has nothing to do with anything cause both kinds are equally important in a game.
Dedicated player or not , Hardcore player or Casual it doesnt matter…why you like to put signs above people’s head and blame them cause they do what they do just because they can…
Sure i believe in freedom of speech and expressing ones opinion but the way i received this message was as a text pure of jealousy and hate towards people that have the time and found the way to do what other people cant, for whatever the reason…
And correct me if im wrong…a player that has 2h of gameplay everyday but 5,10,15 guildmates or just people in his friendlist that can help him anytime with his gameplay , can be hardcore.
Its not how many hours you play but rather what you do with the time you have to do it.

My friend got Dusk from the chest at Melandru Temple event at Cursed shore and also i’ve seen it drop from Claw of Jormag chest at Frostforge too.

I noticed a change in my damage also, my fully equipped 80 lvl staff necro did 125 to 130 damage per tick to mobs in cursed shore now it fell to 110 to 115 …i thought they made them that way like less mobs but harder to kill? but seeing other people see a difference now…:S

Sure killing dragons is a lot of fun, you get to talk with/meet other people or dance while waiting on the window to hear something like “There’s something in the wateeeerr~!” and then someone screams in map chat “dragon up omggggGgggGG” Then everyone’s running to kill da beast!
I wonder why tho every single time people in the end when dragon dies are like “shiet drops as usual” or “rofl all blues” or w/e the complaints are. If they were just for the fun there and im not saying that they being there means they dont enjoy it, but after 2 months of camping dragons daily in 2 different servers i can tell you that people do it mostly for the loots. Fun is the first i dont know lets say 2 weeks? Or its fun if you kill a dragon once a day or once a week. Again im not saying its NOT fun…im just saying that after a while it gets frustrating to kill dragons for 1 month and the best loot u get is a rare weapon every now and then.
People farm dragons for a reason…cause they hope they might get a precursor (as the rumor says~ personally i have never seen anyone getting a precursor and im assuming that cause if someone does they will happily link it in chat lol so far nothing ) or any other exotic which they will sell for an awesome amount of gold since they are freaking expensive.
Game is awesome dont get me wrong~ i love it, i have a lot of fun and i play daily since i have free time atm. I know some things are hard to get and that its fun to work hard obtaining them, whats the point after all if you get to have everything so easy eventually you would get bored of it and quit after getting all you want.
But i think that if someone from Anet made a post right now saying that dragon chests does not drop precursors , i bet ya next time u kill a dragon you’ll see half the amount of people.

+1 I totally agree and i think its like this in most servers..at least its the same to mine too…i need to do 9 Arah runs to get just the gift for crafting Bifrost and i have been inside 6 times and never passed Lupi…its so sad really…even if you try being prepared you will suffer in the end.. patience is not enough…he resets most of the times out of nowhere, then people cant communicate, rage quit and there you go another fail run..

None cares for that place anymore, i wait for a month checking daily Temple of Balthazar to grab the shards which i spend hours and hours of farming karma for…but hardly someone is there anymore and even if you shout for help none cares to do it… and get them by doing FoTM it would take more than a thousands runs to get all the shards one needs. Bring back CS the way it was , this is not fair.
The purpose is for us to have fun playing and not see everything so impossible to get.
Its not fair for people like me that have no more than 4 or 5 hours per day to play and not even.
What’s the purpose behind it anyway, what you have now is an abandoned map. Cant even find Arah group’s. Good job.

What happens in Orr…
- Ele: I carefully kite mobs, time skills and combos and the result is very good.
- Mesmer: I stand in 1 place, press random buttons and the result is, again, very good as long as I can keep a couple clones up, mobs dun even look at me.
And this is what happens when I get downed by mobs and all are above 50% hp:
- Ele: Thanks for playing, try again next time.
- Mesmer: Oh, I get 50% hp when I rally.
