Like lordkrall wrote, you can use the “Guest” feature in the World Selection menu to play on high population servers until the Megaservers are completely implemented. The main reason for transferring is if you want to be in a competitive WvW server. For everything else, guesting is the way to go.
Someone who actually likes the new shoulders?
Now I’ve seen everything.
Add another one to the list..
I got them last night for my engineer..
Same. Got them for my norn engineer. Have to agree with the OP though. Wish there was a more complete set.
Grateful that the birthday present is a mini that’s the same for everyone. Now I can just keep my one character I created close to launch and continue to delete and create characters without worrying too much about maximizing birthday swag. Hope this policy doesn’t change.
Looking forward to the surprises people have found in the .dat file.
Fantastic update, especially Solo Arena. Goodbye premades.
Is it really that unpopular? Maybe tPvP. But whenever I solo queue up for tPvP, I spectate hot-join matches and there are quite a few going on at any one time. But I do wish it were more popular.
The posters who regularly play sPvP have already written most of what I had in mind coming into this thread but I will say all these complaints of class balance is shocking to me and I play an engineer.
Still having fun with this game, for sure. Been playing since early access. Maybe it’s because I don’t like playing any game for hours in a single session. GW2 is perfect for that.
Also a Guild Wars 1 player since launch. Have to say, PvE in Guild Wars 2 is preferable to me by leaps and bounds. For PvP, either style of play is a different beast appropriate to its respective game, and I still like both (comparing Arenas and sPvP). But that’s another topic.
So yeah. Guild Wars 2 is the right kind of MMO for me and still very enjoyable (at level 80).
