The tooltip explained it to you: After you used the item a mineable node appears in your home instance. Meaning you can mine candy corn in your home instance once per day.
Redid it. Worked this time. I was letting him and Tassi finish each time before throwing candy corn at him (did so at all attempts).
Problem was that “Throw everything available at Bloody Prince Thorn.” didn’t update to “pelt him with candy corn” and then it got stuck when he went back into the box.
Once it progressed to the text asking to pelt him it worked.
I’m stuck too. Did it solo. He enters the box and nothing happens.
Just came back after not playing for some months. Went ahead and played a bit, killed Veterans and Champions out in the world on my own with ease. So I thought I could progress my story a bit… and than this mob comes along.
This guy is nowhere near normal Champions-level. Right now this guy is seriously broken. I remember doing him multiple times on my other characters back when I played. He wasn’t even worth mentioning back then.
I transmuted all day long heritage gear from my HoM. Worked like a charm, no problems at all. Just remember to take off the gear like Miotas said.
Actually I was really disappointed at first that city-events didn’t exist from the start.
There’s so many possibilities for non-combat events. Gather stuff, deliver stuff, help at the taverns, extinguish fires etc.
The rewards could scale to level but at the same time be quite lower than “normal” out-in-the-field events are. Just to make sure, that it stays worthwhile to actually leave the town and not just sit there in safety.
Or how about “crafting-events” in town? Assisst a craftsman by something and instead of Karma/Gold earn 5-10 ressources or something of the like.
It could be so much fun! And those cities are so amazingly beautiful. Please, please, please, let us make good use of them! Not just for holiday events!

Solution to sirens: reduce sound quality one notch in options and restart game.
How am I supposed to lower my audio settings when they have been on the lowest setting to begin with? So … naaah …
Just had this bug for my very first time in Cursed Shore.
Win XP, 32 Bit, Realtek HD Audio Adapter
My audio settings have never been maxed (they are on LOW) and no fiddling redeemed the problem. Trying to update my audio drivers right now. Maybe this’ll prevent it from happening again..
