I did not know this website until now. It’s really great. A lot of players styled their characters absolutely unique and posted wonderful pictures and some interesting or even funny stories about them. You can get good ideas for your own character. Thank you for sharing this.
I am trying to complete the Achievement Koutalophile but I can’t seem to get this last spoon. I did WvW for at least 6 months, going for hours every day. I have killed everything that I could think of, taken Camps, Towers, Keeps and the Garrison multiple times.
I have run solo, with a few people and with the zerg. Either the drop rate on this item is horrendously low or I am doing something wrong. I believe that the problem is the drop rate and I wish Anet would either fix that or remove that spoon from the collection.
Any suggestions are welcome but please refrain from rubbing my face in how easy it was for you to get it. That is not helping.
I have the same problem. Since the beginning of this year I try to get this spoon. I played WvW in the same way as you describe it. No spoon! Meanwhile, I am not longer motivated and stopped my tries during the last three weeks.
I own both types of accounts and I don’t like the difference in the daily achievements between Hot- and Non-Hot-Accounts. A Non-Hot-Account can do the Great Jungle Worm and a vista in Kryta today. I wanted to do these achievements with my Level 18 Ele on my Hot-Account but they are not available for a Hot-Account. Yesterday a Non-Hot-Account could do events in Queensdale, Hot-Accounts had to do the events in one of the new zones. So, I have to switch on a level 80 character to do dailies like these. I don’t like it like this.
GW1’s armor was much better.
Yes, yes, 100 times yes.
I wish, we had more armors like in GW1 and I don’t know what is so difficult to design some nice pants for the light armored females.
My norn has two drakes named Rosencrantz and Guildenstern
That’s really nice. I love this film very much.
It seems Leo plays his Revenant very good. He got the Achievement “Golden Globe”.
We demand more dance styles! … please?
/agree
Dancing in GW1 was great, dancing in GW2 is …
will it only be for “items” like banners? or also for MF buffs and stuff? :o
Anything that appears in the upgrade queue on the guild panel. So banners, MF buffs, unlocks, research levels, etc.
I wanted to get the Deep Cave upgrade for my personal guild, and I realised I needed the Research Level 5 upgrade for Architecture to be unlocked before I had the Deep Cave available for queuing. So I spent gold to get Letters of Commendation for enough influence for both the Research Level 5 and the Deep Cave.
However, now it seems like I won’t be able to queue the Deep Cave in time for the HoT launch. Does this mean I have actually made a bad decision and will have to forfeit the remaining influence I had bought? That sure seems terrible.
Anyway for ANET to make an exception and speed up just the Research Levels so that guilds can get the upgrades they want? Or it’s really just a sucks-to-be-me situation?
Just did the same thing. I did the Guild Workshop first hoping I could do both Arch Lvl 5 and Deep Cave at the same time, but alas I was wrong.
The same here. I’m really angry that you can’t see this before you waste your laurels and gold.

….. and reading epic run-on sentences!
really great!
1 chest, 0 key until now
I love the Wintersday Event very much and so I would like it if Wintersday would take a little longer. Some days earlier in December and some days more in January. Because I think a lot of people don’t have enough time during the Christmas Days and New Year to enjoy the event.
I would like it if each profession has its own armors because I loved the armor system from GW1 very much.

Oh yes, the wonderful GW1 armors. I would like them for my ele, mesmer and necro and of course for my ranger. dream
Am I playing a different game to everyone else?
That’s what I think when I read most of the comments here. I don’t need stronger enemies. It may be very easy if you are in a big group of players. But if you are alone or just with one or two other players it’s still difficult enough.
By the way I’m a little overwhelmed by the new map. I’m not even able to explore all areas (what is canopy? ^^). I think I need more signposts in that jungle.

I’m really happy with this. Thank you very much.
Seems as if I’m the only one who is glad that the mission has become easier.
You can go there only by night (ingame night). For the time allocation look here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Day_and_night
My husband and me are both some years older than your mom and we like very much to play this game. I think it’s not a question of age. Sometimes we play together but most times each of us play alone. We are casual players and do anything quite relaxed and have a lot of fun in GW2.
To start in the Open World I would recommend to play a ranger with a longbow. A ranger is not too complicated to play and you have your pet to help you in your fights.
100 % approval. And not only most of the faces are ugly. I also don’t like the bodies of male Norn. Somehow they all look like gorillas.
