Well… no precursor crafting, no new dungeons…. absolutely nothing of interest.
anet has clearly shown me just how much they care about their veteran players. i will no longer support this game nor spend another penny on it. I will no longer refer this game to anyone i know because even if they come to love this game i know sooner or later they’ll feel the same disappointment as i did today…. Words cannot express how disappointed i am so i’ll just do what most players that care and feel the same way have done, i’ll just quit. This is my last and final post, to those who are still waiting for actual real “features”, i hope you get them soon but me myself i am done.

This is the point i’m trying to make. might sound absurd but i want the precursor hunt to be a journey that forces me to venture out and grind different types of content. Idont mind if it takes 2 months to a year, Even if that journey is grindy at least itll be different content as opposed to farming exploits/playing the tp/gambling with the mystic forge/ buying gems with real money. Simply put i just want to enjoy this game again while working towards an achievable goal.

Bite the bullet? Just grind and buy the gold? I have 2 legendaries, both precursors came from having to spend real money. After forging both i was disgusted with this game and the extent in which it had driven me to in acquiring them. I told myself i would never buy gems just to convert to gold again and to only buy gems to show my support for the game if/when they add features/updates that i like. Im only just one customer but i can no longer justify supporting a game in which ive been so patient but disappointed with.

If precursor crafting doesn’t come this feature patch I will stop playing GW2 for good. It was fun the first 2 years, but I can no longer keep doing dailies and hoping for better looking armor to release every few weeks/months to my disappointment.

dynamic events? why would anyone participate in something so unrewarding? the market dictates that 1 orichalcum ore is 5silver….. and you’re telling me I have to do 3 of those events to make 5silver?

dungeons? sure let me do those paths again for the 32984714312th time

I know all these upcoming features are catered towards new players but throw us veteran players a bone. I know this might be a shock to some but I actually want to collect every single legendary there is.

I dont get it. Whatever is in demand, Anet always decides to limit. I mean really, what’s the difference between the Grenth hood or any other head piece that’s currently in the gem store? it seems the only head pieces you want to keep around/available are the ones that should be already available when you first create your character ie. mask of wanderer, mask of silent skin, mask of jubilee etc.. why is it STILL unavailable after so many people have requested for it? We’re practically asking you to take our money yet it seems you’d rather be selling mini pet chickens and boosters that no one uses/buys

WHY? I have the META achievo’s and placed first with JQ. I even tried logging in with every character, entered wvw and exited but still nothing. Please help!!!!!!

I really like the light armor skins. Problem is I have a thief who is a medium armor class and therefore he cant wear the light armor skins. Can arena net please unrestrict these skins so that any armor class can wear any skin?? The only thing holding me back from purchasing these new skins is that my 2 mains, a warrior and a thief, cannot wear the light armor skins. I think it would benefit both anet and players if these skins were unrestricted.

The introduction of ascended armor would pretty much wipe out all need for runes and Upgrade components. If that’s the case I refuse to farm 50+ gold for divinity runes. So far I have 2, Rather save gold for lodestones for the inevitable precursor hunt.

Go 10/0/30/10/20. For utility skills use the heal move that removes two conditions. Use endure pain, balanced stance and fear me. For weapons use gs and axe/shield. Right when you see thieves chances are they’ll test if you’re a squishy warrior or not. Let them come. When you see them cloak just anticipate when they’ll start their backstabbing attack. right when you’re hit just activate endure pAin. after endure pain is over use balanced stance and then use crippling throw with your gs. Depending if you slot in the 1 second immobilize move skill in your vitality trait tree or not it’ll immobilize them. Use the #5 attack and charge at them to close the distance. After you’re within range use the spinning blade move (#3), right after that switch to sword and shield and hit your leaping sword attack( #2) to get within distance, use the f1 attack or attack #3 to immobilize them. Switch back to gs and rinse/repeat. The trick to fighting them is to immobilize them as much as possible so that you can concentrate on aoe’ing them down. Don’t worry about health unless you absolutely have to ( depends if youre bad at warrior or not) because chances are you will not go down before they do. If all else fails and it looks like youre going to go down before they do simply use shield blocking abilities and wait for gs skills to cool down. Always heal only when you’re using gs. I’ve never had much problems with thieves. It’s usually those pesky mesmers and necros.

It’s horrible. People will chase you down and kill you even if you try to avoid them; although that is the whole purpose of wvw and pvp. I do jumping puzzzles solo daily in the borderlands and get killed by ranged enemies who for no reason at all wants to prevent me from getting the keys to unlock the vault.

This was my first MMO and I’ve enjoyed it greatly. The only thing I was disappointed in was the whole precursor RNG thing, and I might be speaking too soon but I’m glad you guys care enough about your playerbase to fix this issue. I just hope that the precursors will no longer require LUCK but that they’ll require grind/skills instead. Look forward to the changes,

I mean, both of these devour over 100G and more if you’re aiming for a legendary. Why isn’t anyone complaining about the price of Icy runestones? 100 gold is A LOT of gold and what’s worst is that there is absolootly no other way to farm these other than farming gold. Why?
