I’ve been out of the game for over a year so it’s great to see this thread is still going! Looking forward to getting back into GW2.

I’m in Borlis Pass and I encounter players pretty frequently.

Ah well that sucks. If anyone is making a dev team to make some apps for it let me know I’m in.

Have we heard anything from the collective on the status of the extended play app for the tablet devices? The app looked very promising.

I couldn’t find a dedicated forum section for this nor even a stickied thread so I figure I’d start one in hopes that a mod so kindly stickies this.

Purpose: To share your adventuring experiences with the rest of the community via screenshots or possibly even video’s you’ve made and posted on Youtube.

Rules: No rules, all screenshots count, just please no intensely Photoshopped images. Try to capture the amazingness that is GW2 in it’s purity

Maybe later on we can do a screenshot of the month and winners etc. Anyway, here goes:

Welcome, you should join us Asurans! I don’t think there is a “best”, just what you want to play as. I personally have an Asura elementalist.

Today was my first time trying wvwvw (I just made it to lvl 11 btw).

I lasted a whole 2 minutes before dieing with just 1 other person around me to help.

That was the first and last time I will ever step foot in wvwvw again.

True what you guys say about the flying mounts. It does make sense that it would make the world appear smaller. Not to mention the devs took a lot of time to add the littlest details so yeah flying would take away from that.

But Nayru what loading screens do you mean? I haven’t seen any except when you use a teleporter.

This is part of the problem with the game world, players mostly barely remember there are zone portals at each zone line – and a loading screen to go with it.

Still, this wouldn’t matter nor hinder the inclusion of mounts.

I guess that just means they’re done that well that you barely notice it!

I got about half way through this thread and just stopped.

I’m new here but I’ve played MMO’s since the EQ and SW:Galaxies days in and out and all I have to say is…I thought there was no troll race in this game.

But I guess I was highly mistaken. Someone give this kid his $59.99 back so he can go back to playing WoW. Let him take his Blizzard fan boy shirt with him too.

This game is fantastic. Plain and simple.

Thanks everyone for the great character feedback! I’m lovin’ this creator, so much customization opportunities to make it look just how you want.

On the note of the mounts, hopefully they do introduce some in the future. Would be amazing if we could fly around or at least even swim on a whale mount

I have encountered a visual break in the main starting point of the Asura race. It only happens in one particular spot when the camera is panned but it’s pretty noticeable. I’ve tried on two separate computers with two different cards:

Nvidia 570GTX
Nvidia 670

I recently purchased the digital deluxe edition few days ago. I made a character and didn’t really like it but I had received most of the digital deluxe items except the wizard hat and the wolves. But I made a new character which I really like on the same server but have no clue how to transfer the items to that character.

Any help on this would be appreciated!
