Why do we have the “rep” Feature

Why we cant just have one guilid.

Every big guild got like 60% active guild members who “stand” for their guild.

The rest is just in the guild for “beeing in the guild”

Just one Guild would be better in my opinion.

Sharks would be cool, as would dolphins.

Even cooler… Change the guy you donate mats to in the guild hall into a fountain and have a shark jump out and bite off your left arm when you interact with it.

Heres an idea. Remove bullkitten upgrade system from WvW and add things like crafting stations, mystic forge, personal back access, trading post, etc to the Guild Hall and let players use it more. Right now i dont think anyone kittening uses guild hall much at all.

What about a guild recruitment section for a gold fee in the lfg instead? People could look when they want too and the gold fee would possibly reduce an excess of posts.

Why? It has been a steadily mounting pressure.

I would guess that at least half of the ones done as dailies are not actually even done.. or more, since people will portal to get them. Your metrics on how many complete them will be so skewed they are meaningless.

Why is it so important to Anet that we do these things? What happened to play “our” way?

Why do you feel you have to herd us around like a pack of Pre Schoolers?

I’m honestly curious. And yes, I’m fine with not getting a Daily JP done, or anything related to a JP done. I’ve managed 3 years here and done 4 puzzles.. 3 by porting, 1 by paying my son to do it.

I’d just like to know why it is so important to push platforming as “normal” game play and why it is not considered an activity and put in that category.

When you successfully get World Completion an ANet Dev comes to your home to give you a shoulder massage while you play for an hour… and they tell you teasers about what they’re working on for future content.

I live in the Seattle area… so it’s logistically feasible.

I have played many MMOs in my time, and Guild Wars 2 is hands down my NUMBER 1 favorite. But the one thing I have been longing for is the opportunity to PVP people with mutual desire in a PVE internment. Some games including SWTOR and Borderlands, have a simple way of having 1v1 small group battles; without deviating from the core gameplay. I love PVP, and never want to take anything away from it but it would be really amazing if you had the ability to like wispier; send a challenge request for a duel or a party battle, if they are in your party. Please GW this would be an amazing feature to allow friends to Battle it out across all of Tyria.

I would recommend for simplicity you just add one more “player option” to the drop down on a person that mentions sending mail and wispier; but have it say something like “Challenge” or “Duel.” The two players could battle, and then upon being downed it breaks you out of combat so that they could rez you. And if you were to be Attacked by a MOB in any map it automatically pulls both parties out of the “Challenge.”

If anyone likes this idea share this thread with people you know to let Anet know!

While the social progress angle is a noble one I just wanna have some left main handed characters (especially my elementalist, guardian, and thief, my warrior, revenant, and druid can remain righties since they’re based off right handed characters). Just look at the technical sophistication that went into the HoT cutscenes, if you can make a big detailed dragon made of plants then I’m pretty sure you can make a toggle to mirror our characters into lefties. Nintendo did it for Twilight Princess (they flipped the entire game) since most people are righties and would feel more comfortable with Link as a righty. I didn’t buy Twilight Princess for this reason as a traditionally lefty character swapped just for the majority’s convenience. It’s really no big if a character is right handed usually, I’m used to playing as righties (shield being used as a weapon in Dark Souls if equipped righty and left handed swords being kitten was disappointing especially given you’d need extra coding to kitten his left but I got over it) in games. It’s only a big deal if a former lefty becomes a righty.

Sya doesn’t have anything which would make her useful to DE2.0 or the plot of GW2, she is just a citizen of LA doing her part. She’s fine were she is, transgender people on the whole don’t want to be shoved into a spotlight they just want to be left to their own lives like everyone else.

Since Sya being put into DE2.0 serves no real use for the group it would be very obvious this was done purely for a quota and no one likes quotas, let her be and stop trying to use her as a political tool (she’s happy where she is and not for you to use).

A few things.

- There’s a lot of elaboration and wordplay in the OP. ‘Pioneer in gaming’ who even says this about a company as a normal player?
- The last line about being a ‘Straight Liberal Male’ is irrelevant to the request being made, rather it is simply a part of a series of buzzwords meant to get a response…

Conclusion: OP is setting up a large bait with a large net, many of you fell for it.

Disregard the request, Smooth isn’t serious about this and is probably laughing in their seat about all the replies.

What does 2 characters forced love story/dialogue/background have to do with killing elder dragons?

What does the Player Character’s upbringing, college of choice, first invention, vision in the dream, or warband choice have to do with killing elder dragons? Not much, but it adds flavor, side-stories, and details. A story without little details like that really isn’t much of a story.

Blaming the ban on Wintersday is just silly.

This game has seen many exploits. Some people getting banned, some manage to slip through the cracks.

It’s not the content that causes people to exploit. People make choices. Clearly they made some bad ones.

Making that would be a good idea. Dueling other players anywhere other than major cities. and also an inspect function to see peoples gear

Make a charr. Then you’ll have a cat with ears.

What do you guys think of this? Long story short I was playing a bit of Warframe and I got to thinking about the warframe system for dueling. Basically there is no open world dueling, but you can build 1v1 arenas into your guild halls, and duel with people there.

It just struck me as perfect because pretty much all of the opposition I hear to open world dueling is from people that don’t want to deal with crowds of duelists standing around in towns. Having the ability to upgrade your guild hall to contain a dueling arena would keep dueling sort of instanced, while still allowing people to challenge their friends with unqiue builds. I can just imagine dueling guilds might spring up and they’d turn their guild hall into this vast arena thing with a bunch of places to duel.

So what do you guys think? Personally I’d much rather see it be an open world feature, but I think this implementation is pretty difficult to object to and would really benefit everybody that wants it without forcing it on anybody else.

Totally with you on this one! There are far too few sexy armours, it’s heartbreaking.
